I’m naturally attentive to animal body language and behavior, so I’m able to notice subtle changes in comfort, mood, energy, and boundaries. I currently live and work on a farm where I care for sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks, including providing hands-on care when animals need medical attention. About: Hello all, I'm taking a hiatus from the PT and have been a professional dog boarder for 10 years. I work remotely so your dog will get a lot of attention, affection , organic whole food treats (green minerals, tuna, healthy snacks) daily walks, a lot of play time in a huge fenced backyard. In the summer, they have complete access throughout the day. I take them to the River:bike path .5 miles away, the school and walks around the neighborhood. And with consent, to Zumwalt dog park out in Veneta. I rarely take more than 3 dogs at one time. 2 dog beds, couch, occasional in bed (for those needy fur babies. As a former PTA, I give attention to dog’s body mechanics and often massage spinal muscles. Background in dog nutrition with healthy treats and suggestions. Will educate clients on how to maximize their dogs health. What I require from dogs are: zero aggression (food, toy, etc.). Please bring : dog bags, food dishes, leashes, all medication . I do have a few spare beds . I work from home part time. So, the dogs I board will get most of my attention throughout the day. I don’t want to run errands and never gone for morw thaj 4 hrs at a time. I offer bully sticks, grain free treats, toys, deer antlers, etc. I leave the back door open for all day access (in the summer), and in the winter, I take them out back at least 5 times a day. There is a kiddy pool, balls, frisbees, etc.

About: I've cared for senior dogs as well as puppies. All are personal animals, but, I believe that's an advantage. Being familiar with animals on a personal level has made me more empathetic and gained the ability to really connect with animal's. Wonderfully! I can care for a pet multiple times a week. My current schedule is flexible and I’m happy to work with you on hours! I would prefer to care for animals in their own environment. I understand some pets feel more secure in a familiar environment. I want to provide the most enjoyable experience for the owner as well as the pet.

About: I've taken care of pets basically my whole life, especially cats, and I've also had a dog for a couple years. I'm always the first person my friends and family call when they need help with their pets. I stay well read on what's good for animals, from training to helping with anxiety, and I'm always willing to go the extra mile to make sure a pet is happy. They're living creatures who deserve just as much happiness as we do. In terms of training, I've helped a cat retrain to use the litter box after it regressed due to anxiety, working through the root cause rather than just the behavior itself. I've also reduced aggression in animals through consistent training. I'm willing to stick with things for a long time and stay consistent, especially when it's for the betterment of the animal. My life is quite flexible, so pet care fits easily into my routine. I prefer jobs where I'm able to stay in charge of how the work gets done, since that's when I feel like I can give my best contribution. That flexibility means I can adjust to a pet's needs rather than squeezing them into a rigid schedule. When I'm caring for a pet in their own environment, I make sure to respect their space and routine completely, from where they're allowed to go to how they're used to being handled. I pay close attention to safety details like doors, gates, and anything that could be harmful to them, and I adapt to whatever setup the home already has in place.
