“Alyssa and Eve watched our dog for a week at our house while we headed out of the country on a cruise. I can’t say enough good things about this pair but will try. Most importantly our dog was loved and well cared for throughout the visit. They followed all our instructions to a tee, fed her on time, made sure she got her medicine, took her on many walks and played endless games of hide and seek and tug of war. I was very grateful for how accessible Alyssa and Eve were throughout the stay. If we ever needed to get in touch with them they were quick to reply. About: All my life I’ve been obsessed with dogs 🐶 When I was finishing up nursing school, I needed to find some part time work to help make ends meet. I found a job as a kennel technician at a commercial dog boarding facility - where I mostly cleaned up to 36 dogs daily messes and gave them social enrichment. I quickly jumped up the short ladder of management and took over as CEO right around my first year mark of employment. I have cared for hundreds, possibly a thousand plus dogs in the last half of my entire lifetime. I’ve worked hard to help dogs and owners alike understand eachother better - communication often needs no words. I specialize in “project pups”, socialization and reactivity. I’ve taken care of newborn puppies to teenage obedience school dropouts - through the medically fragile & elderly pooches on palliative care & absolutely everything in between. I’ve worked in a rescue as an adoption coordinator and had the extreme pleasure of helping people and pooches find their forever spaces together. Along with rescuing over a dozen dogs of my own over the years & nursing several back to health from horrific conditions. Dogs are my passion - simple as that. Nothing makes me happier than helping a dog & owner relationship thrive. I am a stay at home mom, my boys are 2 & 3 years old. They’ve been raised around dogs & already have learned a healthy respect for their space. I am hyper vigilant & always err on the extreme side of caution for everyone’s safety - especially when it comes to those tricky resources. Other than weekly appointments on Mondays - we have a very flexible and open schedule. Our yard is fully fenced with 6 foot - reinforced wood fencing. Gates are double locked to keep toddlers from opening them - dogs too. I have a 10 year old spayed female border collie that I picked from her litter at 3 weeks old. She’s my right hand gal and socially bulletproof when it comes to hanging out with her furry friends. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.
