About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

During those days, I am available for overnight stays and can complete potty breaks and daily care before work (around 6:00 AM), during my lunch break (approximately 12:00–1:00 PM), and after work (around 8:00 PM). water is always available and refreshed regularly. I am highly accustomed to following structured feeding and medication schedules. You can trust that your pet's meals and medications will be given on time following your instructions! I enjoy providing plenty of affection and attention to pets who seek it. Whether your dog loves to be out playing fetch or prefers a little more relaxing, I adjust my care to their individual personality and comfort level. Communication is a priority for me. I typically provide photo and text updates every 1–2 hours so you can stay updated on your pet while you're away. If you prefer fewer updates, I am happy to accommodate your preferences.

About: I am one of those humans who prefer animals over other humans. I recently lost my dog child, Ace, after rescuing him 9 years ago. It has since occurred to me that it would really help me heal if I got to start loving and caring for other people's dog children. I have been caring for animals since I was a kiddo, farm animals too. I grew up in Wisconsin, and there was never a shortage of animals on our farmland. On a day-to-day basis, I am a grad student at Portland State working towards my Masters in Social Work. I have been working for 22 years as a nurse and suddenly find myself wanting to change gears.

I’m currently working Monday through Friday from 8;00 am to 5:00 pm. If your home is close enough to my work, I would love to take my lunch and make sure your pet is doing great. The type of care that I provide is truly dependent on your pet and the type of care that they need. I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m very physically active so if your dog loves to walk, then we will walk and play as much as the like. if you have an adorable couch potato then we will couch potato and cuddle up on the couch.

One of the dogs had ear problems and they addressed that and the other needed antibiotics and they contacted the veterinarian and had the prescription refilled. About: Hi, my name is Isabella. I'm 19 years old and have had the pleasure of caring for and meeting many fascinating animals, including reptiles, felines, canines, and more. I am an animal enthusiast studying biology and zoology in high school. I have grown up with animals, and to this day, I have had rats, cats, dogs, and birds. I currently don’t work at the moment, which means more time to see your adorable animals! But I am planning to return to college in early September. -My availability is 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Since I am home most of my day, I spend a lot of time with my animals. Our routine starts as follows: wet food for herbiee in the morning and for Tutsi FreshPet I refill their water with the coldest and clean the dish every morning. I take Tutsi out and come back to pet Herbert. Usually we just relax and cuddle until it’s time to pick up my boyfriend from work.
