“Brandy was so great with my sassy girls. My two cats aren’t very fond of other humans but Brandy respected their space and tended to their food/water/litter box needs without any issues! She was also very communicative and prompt in her responses! Will definitely be using and recommending her again!!”

About: Having a lifetime's worth of caring for my own pets gives me a wealth of experience and knowledge with critters of all shapes and sizes. Family, friends, and neighbors have entrusted me to feed, play with, and even just check in on their pets and homes since I was a child. When you can't be there, I am happy to make sure your buddy gets all the love, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Rest assured that whether your pet is an old friend or a new addition, I will provide customized care - from snuggles to medication, walks to post-surgical care, and everything in between! I have a very flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your pet(s)! My availability includes regularly scheduled visits and drop ins are welcome. I can also be available on short notice. I enjoy providing conscientious, customized, and individualized care. Please share with me any favorite games, treats, and rewards! Trust, safety, satisfaction, and attention to detail are my highest priorities.
“Great job caring for my Nico! Gave him the potty break and energy release he needed during my long work days! Will be using in the future for sure! Thank you again for all your help, and being so helpful!”

“Brandy did a wonderful job with my cat Tiger for the weekend. I can always tell by how he acts when I get home from a trip if he’s happy and well adjusted. Thanks to Brandy he is was just that! I trust Brandy and will ask her to housesit again.”

“Melanie was a life saver. I was on a trip for Christmas. The family friend of my husband was supposed to watch Isabel. We had not heard from her for 18 hrs. So I had a friend check on Isabel. But, she could only do it for 2 days and we were going to be gone for another day. On Dec 24th at the last minute, Melanie took my emergency visit for the 25th and at am amazing rate. Thank you so much for helping Isabel and our sanity. I will definitely be asking in the future and recommending you to everyone”

About: As a long time pet lover, I began caring for dogs in my neighborhood and volunteering at the local animal shelter at the age of 12. I went on to work for a local petsitting company as a house sitter and dog walker while I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am a skilled dog trainer currently offering training services in the Eugene/Springfield area. My dog training career started when I completed an internship with a local dog trainer in high school and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of dog behavior through training experience, research, interviews with trainers, and online courses. I utilize gentle training techniques that reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and promote relaxation and confidence. I never engage in harsh training methods such as prong collars, shock collars, dominance, or physical force; my techniques are based only on positive reinforcement and trust. I specialize in training dogs with separation anxiety so if your dog suffers from this, they will be in good hands and they will never be left alone for long periods. Before joining Rover, I was already providing dog boarding and daycare to my existing training clients. I have experience with a variety of senior dogs and I am able to administer any medications your dog requires. I also offer daily teeth brushing if this is part of your dog's routine. You can rest assured that whatever your pet's needs are, they will be met while they are under my care. I am also an independently insured petsitter with Pet Care Insurance which covers accidents or injuries and provides that extra peace of mind. Petsitting and dog training is my full-time job and my husband works from home, so there is usually always someone home with the dogs. I provide walks, drop-ins, boarding and daycare 7-days a week and your dog’s health and happiness is my sole responsibility allowing me to be attentive to your dog's needs throughout the day. My home is an ideal boarding or daycare situation for your small dog. I don’t accept dogs over 40 lbs and I carefully screen all dogs for proper temperament. Any dog on the larger side that I accept must be calm and extremely good at interacting with the little ones. My priority is to ensure a safe environment for small dogs, and reduce the risk of injury. When I do have dogs of different sizes together I carefully supervise interactions and leash or separate larger dogs from smaller ones if needed. I provide a fenced yard, daily walks (if desired) and frequent potty breaks. At night I offer a number of different sleeping options depending on your dog’s size and temperament. They might sleep in a crate in the bedroom with us, in a soft sided crate on our bed, in an exercise pen, or loose in the living room where they'll have comfy couches and beds available. Some dogs I allow to be loose in the bed with us but it depends on the dog. I do not by default require dogs to be crated, and if you prefer your dog not be crated they can usually have a crate-free experience at my house. In this case, I only use a crate or exercise pen as a last resort if your dog displays destructive behaviors that cannot be managed. I am very safety oriented and I will ensure your dog is never left alone unsupervised with my dogs, or dogs from other households. I also ensure all dogs are secured when doors to the outside are being opened to prevent escape artists. I always check the vaccination status (including bordatella) of all potential dogs who stay with me. If your dog experiences a veterinary emergency, I can take them to Wilvet South at 444 B Street in Springfield. I do everything I can to make sure your pet has a stress-free, comfortable stay with me.
About: I recently moved back in to the area from California. We are still getting our bearings off the city and finding new places to play and explore As a disabled veteran and single mom, i am home most of the time, outside of some time at the gym or taking my 3 year old to the park. She loves animals, is quite gentle, and is never just left with animals alone. She tends to be helpful in filling Lola's bowl with water and food and tossing a treat to show some love. If kids are not okay, I am child free Saturday through Sunday afternoons, for those times when you need to be doggy free. Fresh water is provided inside and out on the deck to bask, as well as a constant eye when not out for a walk. I tend to avoid dog parks with other people's pets under my watch, I'd prefer to maintain a safe and predictable environment.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since a small child, from city to country life, dogs and cats to guinea pigs, bunnies, amphibians, fish of all sizes, feathered friends, farm animals, etc. I have been lucky to be loved by dogs my entire life, and there would be a huge void without them. My ultimate dream would be to have my own rescue and take in a ridiculous amount of pets needing love, care, and attention. I have watched friends’ and family’s pets and owned many sizes, breeds, and temperaments of dogs but am particularly a lover of northern breeds! I have even bred and raised a few litters of huskies and kept many of them as well. Of course, my favorite color is husky fur! Last year, I rescued a dog for the first time and this experience has taught me a lot about distressed, high anxiety, and untrained dogs that come with unknown traumas, fears, and unique needs — and I’m still learning! I have “survived” (ha!) through the distinct trials and joys that come with puppies learning manners, boundary-pushing dogs in their teens, and persnickety, tired, or low-energy senior dogs, as well as high-energy dogs, escape artists, dominant mama dogs, dogs afraid of water or grooming, submissive fur babies always in need of a pack and a leader. And I have been patient with or found humor in every behavioral quirk and unique personality trait. I love to bike-jour, swim, paddle, camp, and adventure with my dogs just as much as I love snuggling inside, watching them sleep while grabbing cameos, playing with them one on one, basking in the sunshine and playing with or in water, and frequenting local parks to see them socialize and get their zoomies out. I also like to play fetch and brain games with those dogs needing a little “extra” stimulation. I don’t flinch from caring for large groups of dogs simultaneously, dog nose art, dogs with special needs, or even naughty by nature fur babies (my kids might say I have a knack for picking these more spirited and escapist dogs). I have cared for two pets with chronic illnesses who required special diets and administering of meds and IVs so am not fearful of caring for your own pets if they have special needs. And I have had to manage through vet emergencies and making decisions about/coping through the pain of the rainbow bridge. I am currently home full time and therefore available most week days/nights and weekends. (I have the occasional errand or appointment; and when working onsite, I have flexibility to choose weekdays/times.) I have a fenced yard and can give both indoor time and outdoor exercise or sunbathing; and I can crate your dog if or when needed. I sometimes find that high-energy and younger dogs sometimes need naps or space from one another; therefore I may separate dogs with a crate or gate (my own included). My approach with dog conflicts or “poor” behavior is the use of a spray bottle (with water and essential oils), and redirection to Sit/Stay or their Place if sent with them (blanket, bed, etc.). I separate dogs for feeding. Your pets will be safe and happy with Tahoe, Jazmine, and me; and they can relax, play outside, be fed, and get the same attention, snuggles, and care I give my own pets!
“You and the kiddos are the very Best and Zigs is very lucky to have you guys care for him! He is always so happy when we get back and looks so good! Thanks again for the pictures it makes my day. 😁”
“Tori was great! Arrived right on time, gave an insulin shot no problem, and spent the rest of the time giving loves and taking cute pictures. We'll absolutely use her services again and would recommend to others!”

About: I work as a veterinary technician and have 6+ years of pet sitting under my belt. I also have a private mobile nail trimming business that I run part time on the side, I have a pretty large client base with many references from that. I am comfortable working with pets of all shapes and sizes, and don’t have a problem working with pets that may have behavioral concerns. I can administer medications and even care for pets with serious medical needs. I am currently working full time at a veterinary hospital but I have 3 days off per week for all day service and can make home stops in the AM before work and PM after work. Unfortunately at this time I do not offer services in my own home - I have two dogs and two cats of my own, and one of my dogs is elderly and extremely grouchy so bringing in outside pets is not an option for our household. I am no longer offering overnights unless it’s a single overnight. My typical client hires me to stop in 2-3 times daily to feed, walk, medicate, and play with their pets! I also offer dog walking services and mobile nail trimming/basic grooming!
“Tyler did an awesome job caring for my cat. He sent a couple pictures and a little blurb summarizing the visit every time and he was always quick to respond to any messages I sent. He also left a kind message on my whiteboard welcoming me back to my home which was lovely after a full day of travel! Thanks Tyler!”
