I have worked in the veterinary field for more than 30 years and have been a licensed veterinary technician for over 20 years. In addition to providing care and companionship for your pet I am also trained to recognize issues that require medical attention and can provide basic care for minor injuries. I can administer oral and topical medications and injections such as insulin and subcutaneous fluids as prescribed by your veterinarian. I understand that all of us on this site love animals, but there is much more value in having an animal lover that can also provide medical care when needed. I have an affinity for geriatric cats and understand the special needs associated with caring for cats and dogs as they get older.
