About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: I've taken care of animals for 15+ years. Weather it was my own animal or a friend or families I was always there to give potty breaks and train them on proper care. I also train dogs and have many years of experience training dogs to do various commands such as sit, down, roll over, and crate training. This will be my full time job so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry friend. I do have a dog and cat of my own but they are great around other dogs. I live in an apartment in the middle of campus. There is unfortunately no backyard but I ensure that your dog will get many walks and potty breaks and playtime.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and all kinds of farm animals my entire life as I grew up on a cattle ranch in southern Oregon. Two of my dogs and one of my cats had complex medical needs, so I have additional experience giving oral medication to cats and dogs, and caring for dogs during seizures. I love animals and am committed to making sure they get enough exercise and play time. I am a very calm person and animals typically respond to that by mirroring my energy—I find animals are drawn to be because I don’t yell, get overly excited, or move suddenly. I know how to respond to animals when they are nervous about meeting new people and have experience dealing with dogs that have mild to moderate behavioral issues. I’m waiting for my results from taking the bar, so I’m free all day, every day until the end of September. I can make pretty much any schedule work for me! I have a cat who would be very nervous about brining other pets into the house, so I can’t have pets in my own home. However, I am happy and excited to care for pets in your home! Cats need 1-2 hours of play time per day, and I make sure to provide that to my cat, and would make sure your cat got that, too. I’d love for you to share your cat’s typical active hours (for instance, my cat is high energy between 9-11am, and 4-5pm) so that I can be around during that time. :) Regarding dogs, I know exercise needs vary greatly, but I love the outdoors and would be happy to drive your dog to parks or hiking trails to make sure they get their exercise in! About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. I have experience caring for both small and large dogs, including a Husky/Pit Bull mix, so I'm comfortable with energetic, strong breeds as well as smaller companions. I have experience walking dogs, sticking to their routines, and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I'm also highly experienced with cats and understand that every cat has a unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. In addition to dogs and cats, I have a Flemish Giant rabbit of my own, so I'm familiar with caring for rabbits and other small pets. About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.

About: Hello, I work as a caregiver and an am CPR and 1st aid certificated along with having professional experience in medication administration. Most of my pet experience comes from having my own pets as well as helping to care for family pets while growing up. I grew up helping to care for the geese and dogs and as a teen, I had fancy rats, a cat, and a (family) dog I was responsible for. As an adult, I have my own pets and believe in positive reinforcement training with my cats and dog. I administer my own pets medicine as needed as well as do most of their grooming myself. When I'm not at work caring for others, I enjoy spending time with my pets at home and out in nature and the community. Please check my calendar for my availability. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of a clean, safe space to live and work in. I clean as I go and always do a room check before and after cleaning to ensure I got everything.
