Over this span of time I have witnessed her be ever so gracious towards family, friends, companions, strangers and most of all animals. The first time Laura met my family dog I'm pretty sure she made a joke about how silly my dog's hair cut was. Brooklyn (my family dog) and Laura immediately connected. Which isn’t surprising, Brooklyn doesn’t have a hard time connecting with people. She's silly, full of life and sweet, a lot like laura. But this connection was different. It was like Brooklyn felt safe with Laura. The way Brooklyn was excited when Laura came to our family home made me joyous. I thought to myself Maybe Brooklyn deep down felt as if she was connecting with Laura, the same way I was. Maybe she felt as if she had a true friendship growing with Laura that she knew would last her a lifetime. Four years ago, my family and I moved to a different state. Laura and I didn’t see each other for a while until Laura came to visit. I thought I would be the most excited person to see Laura walk-through the doors. but I was wrong. It was Brooklyn who seemed the most happy to see her long-distance best friend. With that being said Laura is one of the most tender hearted people i know and i hold her in high regard. She is someone who is highly responsible, hardworking and devoted. There are few people in this life I would trust to take care of my dog who is a very important member of my family, but if I had to choose one person it would be laura.
