About: What sets me apart as a sitter is how attentive and patient I am with animals. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m very reliable, detail-oriented, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m especially gentle with nervous or shy pets and make sure they get plenty of reassurance, exercise, and affection at their own pace. I’m comfortable following specific feeding schedules, administering basic care as instructed, and keeping owners updated with messages and photos so they have peace of mind. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, cared for, and loved in a calm, positive environment. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine. I attend college on Mondays and Wednesdays, am mostly home and available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and available Fridays until the evening. I work short weekend shifts but remain flexible for pet care before and after work. I live in an apartment with two cats and maintain a calm, clean, and safe environment. I carefully follow feeding, exercise, and medication instructions, give pets plenty of attention, and adjust care based on their comfort level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their routines, keep spaces tidy, and provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are well cared for.

About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. About: With 10 years of dog walking experience, I bring a loving and skilled approach to pet care. I'm experienced with all ages, from playful puppies to gentle senior dogs. I've spent years caring for family and neighbors' pets, so I'm confident in handling any dog's unique needs with patience, care and love. I am currently a student at the university taking online classes and working Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons so my schedule is pretty much open any other morning, day or evenings! To care for pets in a client's home, I like to have a good understanding of their routines and needs. Maintaining consistent walks and playtime as well as feeding times. I make sure to keep the home tidy and or as it looked when i walked in.

About: I have done many types of care giving. In addition to pet care, this includes elder care and hospice care. Attentiveness and being attuned to the emotional connection and body language is essential in sharing in care. I am working part time two or three days a week but due to an injury am looking to do less physically taxing work. With my current availability, returning to pet care sounds in alignment with my schedule and life. I think about how much love and care I would want given to my cats, and I give that much to others. Often, some pets experience some stress and duress when away from their people, and so being a safe, loving, calm and playful person is the main goal. My main values as I enter others space is the comfort of the pet, respect of the owners and their home, and being attuned to the animals needs.

About: I have been babysitting since I was 14 (21 now) however not all the families had pets but, it always made my night when I also got the opportunity to take care of a furry friend! I started focusing on animal care / house sitting more as I got older. I just graduated from the University of Oregon and have a heck of a lot of free time on my schedule! I can make most any times of the day work. Unfortunately I cannot offer care in my home however I am happy to drive to your home most any time of day when help may be needed!
