About: I have always had an affinity for animals, and have always had them in my life. My first dog was a keeshound mix named Katrinka, since then I have had a wide variety of animal friends, from ferrets to horses. As an adult I worked as a vet tech and organic dog treat baker These days I am a working artist and have fewer animals, in the interest of being able to travel and create. Pet sitting allows me to enjoy the company of a wide variety of animals, without the long term commitment. About: I’ve had pets all my life and have worked as a nutritionist at a holistic pet store for close to 4 years. I love animals and I love interacting with them! I currently work a part time job that only gives me 20-25 hours a week. Other than that I am completely available, as long as it fits into my current schedule. I cannot take animals into my own apartment, but I am more than happy to care for animals in their own home. I am well experienced in keeping a close eye on animals and love communicating with owners about their pets wellbeing.

About: I've cared for animals since childhood, looking after pets for both friends and family. I grew up with dogs and have lived with roommates who owned both cats and dogs, often caring for their pets while they were away. Additionally, I've provided regular care for large-breed dogs, including a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Newfoundland. About: As a long time pet lover, I began caring for dogs in my neighborhood and volunteering at the local animal shelter at the age of 12. I went on to work for a local petsitting company as a house sitter and dog walker while I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am a skilled dog trainer currently offering training services in the Eugene/Springfield area. My dog training career started when I completed an internship with a local dog trainer in high school and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of dog behavior through training experience, research, interviews with trainers, and online courses. I utilize gentle training techniques that reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and promote relaxation and confidence. I never engage in harsh training methods such as prong collars, shock collars, dominance, or physical force; my techniques are based only on positive reinforcement and trust. I specialize in training dogs with separation anxiety so if your dog suffers from this, they will be in good hands and they will never be left alone for long periods. Before joining Rover, I was already providing dog boarding and daycare to my existing training clients. I have experience with a variety of senior dogs and I am able to administer any medications your dog requires. I also offer daily teeth brushing if this is part of your dog's routine. You can rest assured that whatever your pet's needs are, they will be met while they are under my care. I am also an independently insured petsitter with Pet Care Insurance which covers accidents or injuries and provides that extra peace of mind. Petsitting and dog training is my full-time job and my husband works from home, so there is usually always someone home with the dogs. I provide boarding and daycare 7-days a week and your dog’s health and happiness is my sole responsibility allowing me to be attentive to your dog's needs throughout the day. My home is an ideal boarding or daycare situation for your small dog. I only accept dogs that stand 17 inches or less at the shoulder and weigh 30lbs or less. I do occasionally make exceptions to this rule for senior dogs up to 40lbs that are very good with small dogs, calm, low energy and slow moving. I also have a maximum of 5 dogs staying with me at a time (which is a group of 8 if you include my own 3 dogs) and this keeps the overall energy more calm and less chaotic. I don’t accept Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Pitbull Terriers, Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Huskys, German Shepherds and Chow Chows or their mixes due to these breeds not being a good fit for my small dog environment (a small percentage of 15% or less is okay if it came up in your dog’s mixed breed DNA test though). Please keep in mind I carefully screen all dogs for proper temperament and your dog needs to be friendly and well accepted by my pack during a daycare trial or meet and greet in order to be approved for boarding. My priority is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for small dogs, and reduce the risk of injury. I have a house with a dog door and securely fenced yard. Your dog will have frequent potty breaks and full access to the house and yard. At night I offer a number of different sleeping options depending on your dog’s size and temperament. They might sleep loose in the living room where they'll have comfy couches and beds available, in a soft sided crate on our bed (or on the floor next to the bed), or in an exercise pen. If your dog is small enough, comfortable and tolerant of other dogs around them, and sleeps peacefully then they will be allowed to sleep in the bed with us, but it depends on the dog. I do not by default require dogs to be crate trained, and if you prefer your dog not be crated they can usually have a crate-free experience at my house. In this case, I only use a crate or exercise pen as a last resort if your dog displays destructive behaviors that cannot be managed any other way. I am very safety oriented and I will ensure your dog is never left alone with my dogs, or dogs from other households. I use tall pet gates to ensure all entrances are secure when doors to the outside are being opened to prevent escapes. I always check the vaccination status (including bordatella) of all potential dogs who stay with me. If your dog experiences an illness or injury during their stay I will contact your dog’s usual veterinarian. In case of an emergency after hours I can take them to Wilvet South at 444 B Street in Springfield. I do everything I can to make sure your pet has an stress-free, comfortable stay with me.

About: I have volunteered at the Humane Society of Utah weekly for 5 years with both dogs and cats where I’ve had the opportunity to care for both dogs and cats with all kinds of personalities and needs. Last year I moved to Oregon to pursue my undergraduate degree (go ducks!) and I’m so excited to bring my experience and love for animals to caring for your pets!! At home in Utah I have two dogs (Millie and Iroh) and a cat (Luna) and have been caring for them for the past 5 years. About: I am an experienced pet sitter and a true animal lover :) I have provided caring and compassionate pet care for the cats and dogs of my friends, family members and neighbors for several years. Previously, I have worked for a dog-walking agency and have received formal First Aid training in pet care. My work schedule varies day to day, which means our schedule will depend on the day and the service being provided. When I am working from home, I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, tons of play time and scheduled feedings as requested by the humans! If you and pup are interested in long walks and/or outside time, we will make it happen! If your dog is more chill and laid-back, I can provide attentive and gentle care, and relaxation time. I am happy to crate your puppy/dog if requested. For cat owners, I am very cautious moving in and out of an individual’s home - I know from experience that sometimes they try to sneak out the door to explore! I believe a primary component of building trust with a client is consistent communication, so I prioritize keeping owners updated with photos and check-ins throughout the day.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up with family dogs, having dogs of my own, and helping care for pets belonging to friends and neighbors. Over the years I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small energetic pups to large, gentle giants and everything in between. At home, I have both a dog and cat, so my nights are usually spent being a pillow for a chubby cat or a pushy shiba (sometimes both at the same time), which means I’m never off schedule! That means they can have company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I naturally build walks, outdoor time, and movement into my day, so taking a dog out for fresh air, exercise is something | genuinely enjoy!. Whether your dog is high energy and loves adventure or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I'm happy to adapt to the routine and make sure they feel comfortable safe and loved while you're away! When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel secure while you’re gone. I’ll follow any instructions you provide on feeding, walks, medications, house rules, and favorite routines. Safety is always my top priority, and I pay close attention to details that matter. I am educated on and have handled pet emergencies swiftly; I know who to call, and don't waste any time when there's a concern. If you have a barrel-chested dog, it’ll get a small, controlled amount of water after coming in from the heat so it doesn’t catch bloat. If you have an escape artist kitty, it’ll always be in my arms or in another room when the door is open. I’m also mindful of things like hot pavement, crowded areas, and anything else that could make a pet uncomfortable or unsafe. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big deal. I’ll treat your space with the same respect I’d give my own, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I also own a high-quality digital camera and love sending free, high-quality photos to update you on how they’re doing, silly phone pics included!

About: I helped raise our family dog, a golden doodle for his 10 years so far with us. We also just brought in a stray puppy in January, so I am familiar with the puppy stage. He was probably 3 months when we got him and he’s now a year old at least. I am currently free all day everyday during the summer. However when the year starts when I will be free after school on weekdays, because I plan to substitute teach. I will still be available weekends though. I love all animals and I promise to do my best to keep your animals safe. I am organized and will follow the directions I am given to keep your animals safe.

About: I am 100% a dog person and love to spend times with all kinds of pups. Unfortunately, I had to leave our family dog behind, whom I have cared for for may years now, when I moved out of my parents house. Since, I have frequently watched and walked dogs for friends and neighbors. My weekday schedule allows for multiple check-ins throughout the day, including morning, midday, afternoon, and evening care. This works well for pets who are comfortable with some independent time between visits. I’m fully available on weekends. I currently do not have any pets at my home as our family dog stays with my parents. I have a large fenced in yard so that pups can also enjoy the outdoors.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to meet yours! I am very experienced with reactive and senior dogs and understand that each dog is different and has individual needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions for care to ensure they are getting exactly what they need.
