About: With 3 senior pets of my own, I'm used to measuring and giving medications as well as looking out for signs of ill health. I am comfortable with pets who are anxious or take time to warm up to new people. Avoiding direct eye contact, a low, calm voice, and refraining from quick gestures is how I like to meet all animals and we can go from there. I work from home and I have a lot of flexibility during the regular 9 to 5 day, most days of the week. Need a quick afternoon walk for your dog? I'm usually around! When I go to a pet's home I acknowledge that this is their space and I prioritize their sense of well-being, comfort, and respect their boundaries and those of their human family members.

About: Hello I’m Griffin, I moved to Eugene last September to accept a job with a local nonprofit. I absolutely love dogs, to the point where my entire social media algorithm just presents me with puppy videos (all dogs are puppies to me.) I grew up with dogs, specifically Labradors, Cairn terriers and a Yorkie. When I was in Peace Corps in Ukraine, I had adopted a street dog and named him Dantinos. Sadly due to pandemic I was unable to bring my buddy back. There’s a big dog shaped hole in my heart. So, I decided to give this a try. My nonprofit job, while rewarding and interesting, isn’t cutting it for the cost of living today. I work full time but have remote work flexibility and live within a few minutes walking distance from my place of work- so whether it’s boarding or drop-ins, or walks, there’s a great opportunity to make it work. I would love to meet and pet and give your puppy some scratches if you’ll have me. I’ve got 35 years experience because I’ve grown with dogs all my life; and while I am not able to care for my own right now, taking a stroll with your puppy might be a win win win situation. I work full time, but have remote work flexibility and given a day or two in advance could likely block off some time to visit or walk a pet. Especially after lunch, when scheduled meetings are less frequent. When it comes to boarding- my work is literally a 5-8 min walk from my apartment- so even if I need to be in the office, coming back for potty breaks are not a problem. Fridays are generally half days, giving a little more flexibility I care for dogs by giving them love and affection when they want it. I’ve got a weakness for giving a dog treats with those pleading eyes, but I promise that I would never feed another persons dog anything not allowed, and certainly know to avoid over feeding. Eugene is a beautiful place and I think it would be a pleasure to take a stroll with your dog.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I’m excited to meet yours! I am very experienced with reactive and senior dogs and understand that each dog is different and has individual needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions for care to ensure they are getting exactly what they need. I have worked with many rescues and currently work with NW Dog Project, so I’m well versed in all things dog. :) I take your trust in me seriously as I know how important our dogs are to us and I look forward to helping with their care. I am a self employed Massage Therapist so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I have mostly open availability on weekends and am available in the morning and evening on week days. It is possible I am available throughout the day if given enough notice. I will follow your lead on rules regarding walking your dog or drop-in visits- and will always respect your home and keep your dog safe and protected on walks!

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have cared for them through every stage of life. I raised both of my dogs from puppies. One lived to be 18, and the other was with me for 15 years. I also raised a cat from a kitten who lived to be 16 and adopted an adult cat who stayed with me well into her senior years. Caring for my own pets from their earliest days through their senior years gave me experience with everything from puppy and kitten care, to medications, mobility changes, and noticing the little things that can make a big difference in their comfort and quality of life. Friends and family have always counted on me to care for their pets while they’re away, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and medical needs. I know every pet is different, and my goal is to help yours feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday (8-5), but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer several services throughout the week. Dog walks: My favorite service! Available most weekdays early before work, during lunch (for nearby clients), and after work. I’m also available for walks throughout most weekends. House sitting: I have the most flexibility on weekends, but I can also be available for house sitting during the week with advance notice. If you have reliable Wi-Fi and are comfortable with it, I’m able to work remotely from your home so your pet can enjoy extra company while staying in their normal routine. Drop-in visits: Available during weekday lunch breaks for nearby clients, as well as on weekends. If you’re unsure whether your schedule will work with mine, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to see if we can make it work! I believe pets are happiest in their own home, where they can keep their normal routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable. I’ll care for your pet and your home with the same respect and attention I’d give my own.

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I love to take them on walks, play fetch, and run around with them. Also, I own a cat. I am able to scoop their litter box, make sure they have food and water, as well as play with them. I've had big dogs with high energy so I am well experienced with long play times to keep dogs happy. I generally work Monday to Fridays and can stop by before and after work to take care of your loved ones. Weekends I am free! When caring for your pets I double check that they have all of their needs met, plenty of food and water. I can clean up after both dogs and cats and make sure nothing is out that they shouldn't be getting in to.
