“Sonia did a great job making sure my cat had food and water at her usual times! My cat is very shy and likes to hide. Sonia made sure Phyllis was OK by taking pictures of Phyllis in her favorite spot. Gave me peace of mind that my cat was healthy and doing fine while I was away.”

“Nicole did great! She helped us out by being available last minute - after our original pet care fell through. Tim (our yellow lab) really seemed to love and have fun with her :) She was great at communicating and reaching out when she had questions. I loved all the pictures she sent. Would book again!”

“Mia was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to take care of my two kitties! She was very communicative and always let me know if she was going to need to come over at a different time. The kitties seemed very comfortable with her and I will absolutely book with her again!”

“Karina is such a gem! She was very thorough with the care and made sure to know the in’s and out’s of our pet’s routine beforehand. Our socially anxious cat warmed up to her within the hour! Karina was very caring throughout the visit, and sent us lots of updates! We’re planning on rebooking for every trip we take!”

“Hayden was fantastic! She was available to watch our 3 large rambunctious dogs on short notice. Hayden came by before our trip to make sure the dogs were comfortable with her, then took excellent care of them when we were away. We received regular updates and photos, which put us at ease using this service for the first time.”

“Julia is amazing! I felt very comfortable with her taking care of my dog and cats. She sent me updates and pictures on every visit and I definitely appreciated that. She is the best and I strongly recommend her! ❤️”

“Asher was so great to work with. Key highlights include her communication, her report cards of each visit, cute photos she captured of Louie, and her kindness & flexibility. I will definitely use her cat sitting services again!”

“Friendly & straight forward communication, sent pics of the cutie while we were away which made my family so happy to see. Could tell our family doggo was being taking care of, getting loves & enjoying her time w/Erin while we were away. Will be referring her to others & booking again if possible!”

About: As a long time pet lover, I began caring for dogs in my neighborhood and volunteering at the local animal shelter at the age of 12. I went on to work for a local petsitting company as a house sitter and dog walker while I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am a skilled dog trainer currently offering training services in the Eugene/Springfield area. My dog training career started when I completed an internship with a local dog trainer in high school and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge of dog behavior through training experience, research, interviews with trainers, and online courses. I utilize gentle training techniques that reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in dogs and promote relaxation and confidence. I never engage in harsh training methods such as prong collars, shock collars, dominance, or physical force; my techniques are based only on positive reinforcement and trust. I specialize in training dogs with separation anxiety so if your dog suffers from this, they will be in good hands and they will never be left alone for long periods. Before joining Rover, I was already providing dog boarding and daycare to my existing training clients. I have experience with a variety of senior dogs and I am able to administer any medications your dog requires. I also offer daily teeth brushing if this is part of your dog's routine. You can rest assured that whatever your pet's needs are, they will be met while they are under my care. I am also an independently insured petsitter with Pet Care Insurance which covers accidents or injuries and provides that extra peace of mind. Petsitting and dog training is my full-time job and my husband works from home, so there is usually always someone home with the dogs. I provide walks, drop-ins, boarding and daycare 7-days a week and your dog’s health and happiness is my sole responsibility allowing me to be attentive to your dog's needs throughout the day. My home is an ideal boarding or daycare situation for your small dog. I don’t accept dogs over 40 lbs and I carefully screen all dogs for proper temperament. Any dog on the larger side that I accept must be calm and extremely good at interacting with the little ones. My priority is to ensure a safe environment for small dogs, and reduce the risk of injury. When I do have dogs of different sizes together I carefully supervise interactions and leash or separate larger dogs from smaller ones if needed. I provide a fenced yard, daily walks (if desired) and frequent potty breaks. At night I offer a number of different sleeping options depending on your dog’s size and temperament. They might sleep in a crate in the bedroom with us, in a soft sided crate on our bed, in an exercise pen, or loose in the living room where they'll have comfy couches and beds available. Some dogs I allow to be loose in the bed with us but it depends on the dog. I do not by default require dogs to be crated, and if you prefer your dog not be crated they can usually have a crate-free experience at my house. In this case, I only use a crate or exercise pen as a last resort if your dog displays destructive behaviors that cannot be managed. I am very safety oriented and I will ensure your dog is never left alone unsupervised with my dogs, or dogs from other households. I also ensure all dogs are secured when doors to the outside are being opened to prevent escape artists. I always check the vaccination status (including bordatella) of all potential dogs who stay with me. If your dog experiences a veterinary emergency, I can take them to Wilvet South at 444 B Street in Springfield. I do everything I can to make sure your pet has a stress-free, comfortable stay with me.
“Me and my poodle had a wonderful experience with Alondra! She was super adaptable, met with us beforehand which gave me peace of mind, and kept me updated at every check in. She made being out of town less stressful and I felt confident my little son🐩 was well cared for 😊 thank you!”

About: I have loved dogs and cats my whole life. I have experience watching dogs from puppy to senior stage. I have cared for senior cats and have administered medication from pills to IVs I work from home so I can work from your home! I love going on long walks and can stay overnight with your pet if needed. My parents have two cattle dogs, so I am used to dogs who need a lot of walks and exercise. I have also watched senior dogs, dogs with diabetes, and pets with other health needs. I can follow any of your needs/routines for your pet. I am used to caring for pets with a variety of needs like being kept from going up and down stairs to ensuring dogs don’t run out the front door. Just tell me what you need :)
“So amazing at caring for my kitties even in a pinch. Allostair was able to come over super quick and gave such great care and was super communicative. If I could give 10 stars I would!!!”

Harlow pet parents share their Rover experiences
Mia was responsive and took great care of my kitty while I was out of town for several weeks! My kitty is shy, but I could tell that Mia made an effort to interact with her. She even helped me out with leaving a key out so that something could be done in my apartment. I would definitely recommend Mia to other cat owners!
Ava took great care of my cats! Her updates were great and I felt like she genuinely enjoyed spending the time with them. My friendly cat really took to her, more than I’ve seen him do with any friends or sitters, and my shy cat even came around a bit too. Ava was awesome all around and I would highly recommend her!

Parker has been wonderful! I had some issues with previously arranged cat sitting and had to call Parker for help very last minute. They were able to come and care for my two cats with very short notice. Also one of my cats is a bit shy, but appeared pretty comfortable with Parker, who is great with kitties with different personalities! I also appreciated detailed updates and cute photos/videos Parker sent on each day! Would definitely contact Parker for help when I am traveling in the future.

Grace was AMAZING! Our cat loved having her visits and play time. If you are thinking about booking her, you won’t regret it! She was so punctual and kept the little boxes so clean and tidy. We will absolutely be booking again! One of the best sitters our little guy has ever had ☺️
