I honestly can't remember a time when we didn't have dogs at home, and over the years I've also helped friends, neighbors, and family members care for their pets whenever they were out of town or needed an extra hand. About: I have been pet/house sitting since June 2017. I grew up with three labs, and am slightly biased toward larger dogs, but have met some wonderful smaller dogs and have grown to love them as well. I am happy to accommodate to the pet's needs (i.e. early mornings, lots of playtime, special needs, low energy, medications etc.) I enjoy the outdoors and am available for walks and am particularly interested in something regular - like a couple scheduled times per week. I also love cats, I have one of my own, and have experience administering medication. I currently work part-time in the nonprofit sector and am wanting to supplement my income with more work that I love! I'm seeking pet drop-in and dog walking gigs, on a regular/ongoing basis would be great. I'm not offering overnights at this time, but may be able to arrange this in the future if it's a good fit. I am detail-oriented and will follow whatever instructions you provide, including safety measures taken in your home like locking doors, setting alarms, etc. I have experience with leash-reactive, strong, and anxious dogs, and feel comfortable working with a variety dog behaviors on walks. No request for security and safety is too much.
