15. Sarah A.

“When we lost our dog sitter I was devastated and nervous we wouldn't find another great fit. However, we feel so lucky to have found Sarah! She is so carrying, understanding, and just amazing with our high energy 1 year old dog. She truly understands that dogs come with their own unique quirks and does a great job at letting our boy know whose the boss. She listens to what your training goals are and helps you achieve it through consistency. Thank you so much Sarah!!!!”

16. Emma R.
“Emma is such a delight to work with! As a college student I often have a busy class schedule and travel for the holidays. Emma is my go to pet sitter to call when I need my cat Penelope taken care of while I’m away. She is in constant contact with playtime updates, pictures and any questions or concerns. This also means I can tell the effort and time she puts in to making my pet feel right at home while I’m away. Whether you’re looking for a caring sitter for an affectionate pet or an energized playtime enthusiast, Emma is the sitter for you!”

20. Samantha I.
About: I have taken care of pets of friends and family members since I was 9 years old. I have also volunteered at VBSPCA (Virginia Beach, VA, 2018 - 2019), and Clatsop County Animal Shelter (Warrenton, OR, since October 2024) by walking dogs, fostering dogs, and cleaning dogs kennels. I believe pets are members of the family and deserve to be loved and respected just as a human deserves! For personal background, I grew up with dogs my entire life, but my husband and I have rescued two dogs since 2021. Our first rescue was a senior American bully named Blue, and even though he wasn't "perfect," we feel he is what helped us become a true family. Blue died in December 2024 and we have since rescued another dog, a 3 year old mix named Teddy. I understand that all dogs (rescues or not) might come with medical or behavioral issues. Blue and Teddy were/are dog reactive and both have had medical issues and/or surgeries. I feel that even though a dog might not be "perfect," they are perfect in the eyes of their families and deserve love and care iust as much as a pet that may seem "easier." Given the medical and behavioral issues of my own pets, as well as working with dogs at my local shelter, my number one priority when working with animals is that everyone involved is always safe. I will never willingly put myself or your pet in a position where there is a potential for mishaps, and will always use my best judgment in all situations to keep them healthy and safe. I have a small amount of experience in clicker training (currently working with a trainer to learn this skill for my own dog), but considerable experience with using gentle leads, if either is something the pet owners would like for me to continue while they are away. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns! I am currently in between jobs, so my schedule is very flexible. Please check my calendar and if something doesn't fit, you may reach out to me and I may be able to make it work! I will treat your pets will love and respect. I believe they give us so much and deserve to be spoiled! That being said, I will adhere to rules and requests given to me by pet owners (no climbing on furniture, certain number of treats/food per day, etc.) and will not break those.
