About: I have had pets my whole life- I grew up with cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, and even llamas! I understand that all pets have different needs. I can be there for you when you can't, and will make sure your pet is cared for like my own. I love dogs and other pets too! I currently have 2 cats and want to make all cats my friend (even though they have their own thoughts on this!). I had a Frenchie for 10 amazing years, and grew up with Labs. I have a flexible schedule and am available most times. I can be available for pet routines or drop in visit, morning, mid day or afternoon/evening. I can come to you- in home visits, or dog walking. I am central to Eugene and have a reliable car for visits. I can visit mornings or afternoons.

About: I have a dog of my own, a Yorkie, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Having my own dog has given me personal experience with the responsibility that comes with caring for a pet and making sure their needs are met. As a student at the University of Oregon, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to work pet care into my daily routine. About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.

About: Hello I’m Griffin, I moved to Eugene last September to accept a job with a local nonprofit. I absolutely love dogs, to the point where my entire social media algorithm just presents me with puppy videos (all dogs are puppies to me.) I grew up with dogs, specifically Labradors, Cairn terriers and a Yorkie. When I was in Peace Corps in Ukraine, I had adopted a street dog and named him Dantinos. Sadly due to pandemic I was unable to bring my buddy back. There’s a big dog shaped hole in my heart. So, I decided to give this a try. My nonprofit job, while rewarding and interesting, isn’t cutting it for the cost of living today. I work full time but have remote work flexibility and live within a few minutes walking distance from my place of work- so whether it’s boarding or drop-ins, or walks, there’s a great opportunity to make it work. I would love to meet and pet and give your puppy some scratches if you’ll have me. I’ve got 35 years experience because I’ve grown with dogs all my life; and while I am not able to care for my own right now, taking a stroll with your puppy might be a win win win situation. I work full time, but have remote work flexibility and given a day or two in advance could likely block off some time to visit or walk a pet. Especially after lunch, when scheduled meetings are less frequent. When it comes to boarding- my work is literally a 5-8 min walk from my apartment- so even if I need to be in the office, coming back for potty breaks are not a problem. Fridays are generally half days, giving a little more flexibility I care for dogs by giving them love and affection when they want it. I’ve got a weakness for giving a dog treats with those pleading eyes, but I promise that I would never feed another persons dog anything not allowed, and certainly know to avoid over feeding. Eugene is a beautiful place and I think it would be a pleasure to take a stroll with your dog.

About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of cuddles & attention, consistent routines, and clear updates, so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I have such a passion for doing this because when I’ve had to leave my fur babies it was really hard. I’m hoping to put you at ease knowing your fur baby is receiving love and attention while you are gone 💙💜 I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 13 years old. Neighbors and friends trusted me to walk, play, and love on their pets while they were away. I have experience with puppies and kittens all the way to senior cats and dogs. I also have experience giving medication to dogs and cats. I work part time so I'm looking for something fulfilling and fun to fill the down time I do have! It is a true joy to be able to spend my day caring for other people's fur-babies. I can provide food and fresh water according to your exact schedule and needs. I can walk your dog or take them outside for potty breaks or just let out some energy outside. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was ten years old. My little sister and I were quite the entrepreneurs, and created our own pet-sitting business in our neighborhood, taking care of our neighborhood pets. I absolutely love taking care of animals and am highly interested in a career working with them. I also have a fur baby of my own! About: Hello, I work as a caregiver and an am CPR and 1st aid certificated along with having professional experience in medication administration. Most of my pet experience comes from having my own pets as well as helping to care for family pets while growing up. I grew up helping to care for the geese and dogs and as a teen, I had fancy rats, a cat, and a (family) dog I was responsible for. As an adult, I have my own pets and believe in positive reinforcement training with my cats and dog. I administer my own pets medicine as needed as well as do most of their grooming myself. About: I have owned dogs my entire life. As a Greenhill dog walker for 3 years, I have experience with all varieties of dog's energy levels and leash skills. I have been a foster to puppies and socially awkward dogs, so I am fine with dogs still learning manners. I have a calming presence that puts shy dogs at ease. I have fostered many puppies and can help teach them the basics. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I have lots of availability to come play with your pups and provide enrichment throughout the day. If you pick me to take care of your fur babies, I will follow all instructions you provide and will make sure to provide them any enrichment they need. I have experience with dogs that love to shred, dogs that want to play 700 rounds of fetch, or maybe they just want to relax with a chew while supervised.

I'm a college student, so my schedule shifts a bit with the seasons, but pet care fits in easily either way. Over the summer, I'm home essentially all day, every day, so I have plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins whenever they're needed. This fall, I'll be taking classes again, but since they're online and my schedule is very flexible, I'll still have plenty of availability throughout the day. While I don't currently have a pet of my own, I've spent a lot of time caring for others' animals and understand how much consistency and attention matters. I'm happy to work around your pet's existing routine, whether that means a set feeding schedule, a mid-day walk, or just extra company during the day. Since I offer dog walking and house sitting/drop-in visits rather than boarding, most of my pet care happens in the client's home and neighborhood, so I always make safety and comfort a top priority there. Before any visit, I like to get a clear understanding of the pet's routine, any commands they know, leash behavior, and specific instructions from the owner. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, stay aware of traffic and other animals, and avoid unfamiliar areas that could pose risks. For house sitting and drop-ins, I treat the client's home with the same care and respect as I would my own, making sure doors and gates are securely closed, food and water are refreshed as needed, and any medications or special routines are followed exactly as instructed. I also send updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pet is safe and well cared for while they're away. At my own home, I have a fenced yard and no other pets or young kids, which makes it easy to give a visiting dog calm, focused attention with minimal distractions or safety concerns.

About: My first pet sitting job was when I was 3 years old, and I loved doing animals of all kinds! I’ve taken care of lots of cats, dogs, and volunteered for a horse therapy program. My family got a puppy when I was in middle school, and I loved doing some basic training and getting to watch him grow up! I’m currently a graduate student working remotely, so I have plenty of time to take care of your beloved pets and give them lots of attention!
