They have an excellent set-up for a fun, safe "day camp" for dogs with different natures - active, chill, aloof, garrulous! Our little tugger is a playing machine, and initially presents as intense, so I wasn't sure if he'd fit in. Before taking us on, Jen and Josh met with us in person at their location, and on day 1, I felt that they were observing him carefully, based on Jen's updates. When visit #2 rolled around, as soon as we got to the front entrance where Jen was waiting, I became non-existent and the tugger embarked on a great day! I started dogsitting for family friends and neighbors when I was 12, and have done so for many different people and pets since then. He is an active, older border collie who needs a little extra attention, and Julie was very sensitive to his needs and quirks! She kept him busy and happy, and kept us updated with nice photos everyday. We could see that Julie is kind and gentle with animals, and very knowledgeable about dogs and their various personalities. We highly recommend her, and if we are back in the Eugene area, will happily have her care for our dog again. Thank you Julie!”

Originally I chose Alex this time was because her dogs and giant yard that I know Momo really loves. Her picking up and dropping off Momo was a surprise I really appreciated. On top of her kind and friendly like other dog sitters on Rover, I would also say she is professional, because she does this full time, I bet Momo got a lot more attention with Alex than at home.
