About: I love dogs, and can't wait to meet yours! I will closely follow your instructions to provide the kind of care I would expect for my own dog. I'm willing to work with you and your schedule. I'm a firm believer in the power of clear communication and honesty. You can expect regular updates, lots of love, attention, and with permission, a moderate amount of treats. My fenced yard is sufficient for pee breaks and I'm in a great location to walk over to local parks for number twos and exercise. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you, and meeting your dog! I'm looking forward to spending my days off with your dog! I'm especially interested in long walks with chill dogs. Always positively reinforcing good behavior with praise, attention, and play. I have a fenced yard. I'm willing to spend lots of time with your dog, doing whatever it is they love to do. My availability is my weekends so that dogs in my care will not be left alone.

Nicole was absolutely perfect with Mellow today! He is dog reactive and has stranger danger so has a few complicated things to work though, but Nicole was fab and took the time to build his trust step by step. He was taking treats and leaning in for cuddles in no time. Nicole really understands his body language and need for space while out on walks as we work through his reactivity. We can't wait for our next visit:) thank you!

I can be there for you when you can't, and will make sure your pet is cared for like my own. I love dogs and other pets too! I currently have 2 cats and want to make all cats my friend (even though they have their own thoughts on this!). I had a Frenchie for 10 amazing years, and grew up with Labs. I have a flexible schedule and am available most times. I can be available for pet routines or drop in visit, morning, mid day or afternoon/evening. I can come to you- in home visits, or dog walking. I am central to Eugene and have a reliable car for visits. I can visit mornings or afternoons.

About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.

Whether your dog needs exercise, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or extra patience and attention, I’m committed to making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and keep owners updated for peace of mind. I’ve been caring for all kind animals for over 7 years, including dogs, chickens, ducks, goats, and other pets. I spend time each day caring for my own animals and enjoy being active outdoors. Because of this, dog walking and pet visits fit naturally into my routine, allowing me to provide consistent care, attention, and updates to pet owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide fresh food and water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. About: Hi! I'm a dependable and compassionate pet lover who truly enjoys caring for animals. I have experience caring for both small and large dogs, including a Husky/Pit Bull mix, so I'm comfortable with energetic, strong breeds as well as smaller companions. I have experience walking dogs, sticking to their routines, and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they need. I'm also highly experienced with cats and understand that every cat has a unique personality. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. In addition to dogs and cats, I have a Flemish Giant rabbit of my own, so I'm familiar with caring for rabbits and other small pets. Having experience with different types of animals has taught me patience, attention to detail, and the importance of following each pet's individual routine. When you're away, I'll treat your pets like they're my own. I'll provide plenty of love, playtime, exercise, and regular updates with photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're happy and in good hands. I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and dedicated to giving every pet the care they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! Pet care fits easily into my schedule, and I make sure every pet gets the time and attention they deserve. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I do my best to be flexible with scheduling. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, an evening visit, or extra playtime and cuddles, I'm committed to following their normal routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I work part time Wed-Friday to 4 PM, otherwise I’m available! I have a small house with a Flemish Giant breed bunny named Jessie! She is in a separate caged area, safe and secure. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions (if needed), and any special care requests you provide. I'm experienced with both small and large dogs, highly experienced with cats, and I also care for rabbits, so I understand that every animal has unique needs. I'll treat your home with respect, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you're away.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 13. Family and friends rely on me to watch, feed, and walk their animals with care! I’ve also consistently nannied for infants since I was 13. I have a lot of references for childcare and I think taking care of pets can be like taking care of children. They need to be loved, attended to, and kept busy! Hi! I’m Georgia and I’m from San Diego but currently live on the UES in NYC! I work a remote job in the advertising industry and I’m looking to make some extra money/get some animal love that I’m desperately missing. I’m available any day and can work from your apartment to be the animals all day! I absolutely love animals and I’m extremely attentive! I can’t board animals at my apartment but I’m open to staying at other people’s homes to care for animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
