“Natasha handled my 100lb female Ridgeback with Care and Class. She is obviously a natural dog person, and connected with my dog in a way that immediately gained my trust, and the trust of my Ridgeback . I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a reliable, positive, and fun experience for their dog. Natasha is a superb Dog Walker, and I will book with her again and again.”

“Erin was wonderful with my boys —I booked her last minute and she showed up happy, helpful, and ready to work. The dogs loved her, and I’ll definitely book again!”

“Josh was Incredible! My dog, Ziggy, is a bit apprehensive meeting new people and especially welcoming people into our home. Josh listened to my requests for their first meeting and had such good vibes and body language that it was a mere matter of minutes before Ziggy was literally eating out of his hands and Ziggy had no problem with Josh following us upstairs and hanging out inside. I didn't doubt for a second that Josh could handle Ziggy's antics and his strength on the leash. Josh sent daily updates and pictures of Ziggy out on walks and snuggling with him on the couch. I had a friend checking in on my kitty but Josh noticed that she (the cat) had thrown up in the spare room and not only let me know about it, and kept an eye on her mood/behaviors but even took it upon himself to clean up the mess! I was blown away. Ziggy had a great time and I will definitely book Josh for future pet care. Thank you so much, Josh!”

About: I have been looking after pets for family friends for about 6 years now. It’s always a joy to work (and play!) with animals knowing that I’m providing owners peace of mind. I’m thoroughly committed to ensuring that your pets get the time and care that they need. I also am happy to work with households with a lot of pets - I’ve had experience working with a family with 5 pets under one roof! My current job is mostly work-from-home, so I’m pretty flexible when it comes to the bookings I can take on. If there’s anything that could be a scheduling conflict I’ll be sure and let you know. When I work with a client and their pets, I always ensure that I am working within the guidelines that the client has put forth. I take the safety of pets extremely seriously, and promise to take care of them as well as I can.

About: Hi there! I'm Cayla—your new favorite pet sitter. While I may be new to Rover, I'm anything but new to animal care. With a background in animal husbandry and hands-on experience across both private settings and reputable institutions, I've worked with an incredible range of animals—from playful pups and cuddly cats to otters, fish, and even sharks. I’m known for being reliable, flexible, and easy to reach, with an open schedule ready to accommodate your needs. Clear communication is important to me, and I take pride in providing safe, enriching, and attentive care to every animal I meet. Whether you're heading out of town or just need an extra set of hands, I’ll treat your pets like my own—ensuring their comfort and your peace of mind. Let’s build a care plan that gives your pets the love they deserve and you the freedom to travel worry-free. Currently I work a flexible schedule delivering for DoorDash. This allows me to easily design my day:week around the needs of my clients and their animals. I am available for check ins, potty breaks, walks, visits, etc through out the day, and prioritize my clients and their pets. I live in a house with dogs who are not friendly to others so I would be unable to take care of your pets in my home but I am more than willing to do what I can at your home!
“Teresa was wonderful!! She was great at communicating (even when it was late) and went out of her way to make sure my pup had a great time with her. I would highly recommend her and plan to rebook next time we need help ☺️🤗”

About: There’s nothing I love more than animals! I have had and cared for them my entire life and have years of experience walking and feeding dogs, cats, and many other animals. I am reliable and can be flexible when needed. In my free time I volunteer at Greenhill animal shelter and have lots of experience with all types of dogs and their needs. I am currently a college student and have a pretty open schedule. I am always looking for ways to help out and love surrounding myself with animals. I am a very active person and love walking, hiking, trips to the beach, or just laying around keeping them company! I have classes and work but times vary for each. I follow rules and do everything that is asked, I leave everything as I came and pick up after myself. I ensure to always ask questions to avoid problems, better safe than sorry!
“Mariam was amazing! Communication was great and very speedy. She was able to squeeze us in last minute for a meet and greet, and a walk the next day. She was so patient with our dogs needs and shared pictures to show how happy our dog was during their walk. We are so pleased and will continue to use Mariam as long as she’ll have us!”

About: Hello, I work as a caregiver and an am CPR and 1st aid certificated along with having professional experience in medication administration. Most of my pet experience comes from having my own pets as well as helping to care for family pets while growing up. I grew up helping to care for the geese and dogs and as a teen, I had fancy rats, a cat, and a (family) dog I was responsible for. As an adult, I have my own pets and believe in positive reinforcement training with my cats and dog. I administer my own pets medicine as needed as well as do most of their grooming myself. When I'm not at work caring for others, I enjoy spending time with my pets at home and out in nature and the community. Please check my calendar for my availability. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of a clean, safe space to live and work in. I clean as I go and always do a room check before and after cleaning to ensure I got everything. When out in the community, I always check my surroundings and am mindful about what's on the ground and what's going on.

About: Hello I’m Bianca! I am entering my senior year at U of O, barista at Dutch, and I want to love/care for your fur kids! I grew up with 3 corgis in my family, so I learned daily dog care early on with walks, feeding schedules, and playtime. Since then, I’ve taken care of family dogs and dogs belonging to close family friends, and I even dog sat for a breeder with more than 10 dogs at once, so I’m familiar with managing multiple dogs with different personalities, and busy households. I treat every pet like my own and can’t wait to be their new bestie 😋 I work part-time at Dutch Bros, so my schedule shifts week to week and I don’t have fixed days off. That said, I’m generally very flexible and can definitely work around my shifts to fit in walks and drop ins. Just send me your dates and I’ll let you know what works! 😊 Since I’ll mostly be taking care of pets at your home, I like to stick as close as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, and whatever you’re used to doing. I’m careful about stuff like keeping doors and gates shut, giving meds if needed, and just making sure your pet feels comfortable the whole time. I love sending updates and photos so you’re not stressing while you’re away!
The median cost per walk for dog walking in Eugene is $20
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Eugene
Teresa did an amazing job with our 3 week twice a day dog walking booking! She was on time, showed great care for our dog, Bernie, and always walked him for the amount of time agreed upon, if not more! We greatly appreciated knowing that our dog was in good hands and cared for. I highly recommend Teresa for a caring, professional, and punctual dog walker!

Mariam was amazing! Communication was great and very speedy. She was able to squeeze us in last minute for a meet and greet, and a walk the next day. She was so patient with our dogs needs and shared pictures to show how happy our dog was during their walk. We are so pleased and will continue to use Mariam as long as she’ll have us!

Jillian is very personable, very knowledgeable and capable dog sitter. I felt very comfortable, knowing my dog was in her care and believe that she would do anything necessary to make sure my dog was safe and well cared for no matter what the circumstance in my absence. Thank you Jillian!

Jules did a great job of communicating throughout the process. I was really happy with their ability to understand the needs of a more nervous dog - very good at reading dog body language and adapting as needed. Daphne got a fantastic walk and I came home to a happy and calm pup. I hope our schedules align and we can book again!

Karina (remember that song?), well Karina is a.wonderful walker and really cares for my getting old, Aggie. Calm, confident, responsible…most of all Aggie truly loves her. Karina made a daisy chain wreath for my seeet Aggie’s head. Aggie rides in a wagon and gets out to lay on the grass and smell the flowers. I live in Whittaker.

Morgan has been a fantastic, reliable dog walker. I liked that she asked thoughtful, relevant questions which helped me feel confident in her ability to care for Daphne. She did a great job following instructions and kept me up to date on any schedule changes within a reasonable timeframe (we did recurring weekly walks).

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
