About: I have been looking after pets for family friends for about 6 years now. It’s always a joy to work (and play!) with animals knowing that I’m providing owners peace of mind. I’m thoroughly committed to ensuring that your pets get the time and care that they need. I also am happy to work with households with a lot of pets - I’ve had experience working with a family with 5 pets under one roof! My current job is mostly work-from-home, so I’m pretty flexible when it comes to the bookings I can take on. If there’s anything that could be a scheduling conflict I’ll be sure and let you know. When I work with a client and their pets, I always ensure that I am working within the guidelines that the client has put forth. I take the safety of pets extremely seriously, and promise to take care of them as well as I can.

About: I have had pets my whole life- I grew up with cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, and even llamas! I understand that all pets have different needs. I can be there for you when you can't, and will make sure your pet is cared for like my own. I love dogs and other pets too! I currently have 2 cats and want to make all cats my friend (even though they have their own thoughts on this!). I had a Frenchie for 10 amazing years, and grew up with Labs. I have a flexible schedule and am available most times. I can be available for pet routines or drop in visit, morning, mid day or afternoon/evening. I can come to you- in home visits, or dog walking. I am central to Eugene and have a reliable car for visits. I can visit mornings or afternoons.

About: I am lucky enough to have lived every single day of my life with pets of some variety–dogs, cats, hamsters, and betta fish, primarily. Some were family pets, but most have been my own. I was seven years old when my parents allowed me my first pet of my very own (Fluffernutter, a brown-and-white banded Syrian hamster), and I still remember spending months poring over library books and researching everything I could about hamster care before bringing her home. Currently, I have one cat (Sushi, light of my life), but she’s only an only child because I don’t yet have the financial means to be the maniacal menagerist of my dreams. Meeting and loving and taking care of animals has always been the brightest part of my life; I genuinely cannot imagine a life without them, and I hope I never have to. Although this is my first time formally offering pet-sitting services, I’ve been caring for others’ pets for years, starting around age twelve. I’ve pet-sat for friends and neighbors, taking care of their dogs, cats, horses, and fish. My responsibilities have included everything from feeding and administering medication (when needed) to walks, cleanup, and making sure each pet gets plenty of attention and companionship. While most of my experience is with dogs, cats, horses, and fish, I love animals of all kinds and would be happy to care for most any critter. I spent approximately a year as a Pet Care Specialist at PetSmart, where my primary responsibilities included caring for the store’s fish and reptiles. It was a job I absolutely loved, and I still miss all of the little critters I looked after. I’ve also had a few hamsters over the years, and a close friend of mine had mice, rats, and snakes, all of which I spent a fair amount of time interacting with. Even when I don’t have experience with a specific animal, I always take the time to research their needs and follow all care instructions closely to ensure they’re well looked-after. When it comes to reptiles, I’m comfortable with general care, though I’m not able to provide feeder animals larger than insects. When it comes to dogs specifically, I have the most experience with medium and large pups and am comfortable caring for dogs of most sizes. However, I am not able to sit for any giant breeds. While I love them dearly (and have spent a great deal of time around Newfoundlands in particular), I want to ensure I can safely and confidently handle any situation that may arise. One of my favorite parts of pet-sitting is getting to know each animal as an individual. Every pet has their own personality, preferences, and quirks, and I make it a priority to learn those so I can care for them beyond just the basics. Whether it’s discovering their favorite toy, their ideal walking pace, their go-to nap spot, or how they like to be social (full cuddle mode or quiet companionship), I want your pet to feel understood and comfortable. I also have experience caring for shy and anxious pets. I understand that building trust can take time, patience, and consistency, and I’m more than happy to meet animals at their pace. Even confident pets can feel unsettled when their person is away, so creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment is always a top priority for me. Above all, I treat every pet in my care the way I treat my own—with attentiveness, respect, and a lot of love. My goal is not just to meet your pet’s physical needs, but to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important that peace of mind is, and I’d love to provide that for you. About: I have had family dogs for my whole life, and taken care of dogs since I was very young of all sizes. As I see dogs as family, I always treat them with respect and kindness. I am currently doing online summer classes at the UO and have no other obligations, so I’m free most days of the week to provide quality pet care! When pet sitting for others I make sure to keep your space as close to how you left it as possible, respecting your home as well as your pet.

I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. About: As an animal lover for my entire life, and with this being the first time not owning a pet, I look forward to being able to share my love for animals with you and your beloved pet!! I grew up with one Boston Terrier, and then later two Bostons, in my home and was constantly surrounded by the dogs of extended family members, close friends, and neighbors. Because of this I have experience with many dog breeds and many personalities and ages! I have 17 plus years experience caring for the well loved pets of others and understanding the spoken and unspoken needs of dogs! I have a very calm demeanor and, more than simply walking and feeding, love to spend time playing and getting to know your pets individual personalities! Quality care and safety of your pet is of the utmost importance for me and I will do everything in my power to ensure that your family member has the best stay-cation possible! :) I'm a student and work! I am home often, and more or less make my own schedule so can often shift things and fit my schedule around the needs of you/your pet! I live in a third floor walk up, with a balcony. Dogs always have supervised balcony time (or can be not let on to the balcony if there are concerns!). I am always attentive of your pet, and any shifts in behavior that seem strange will be monitored and reported to you if necessary! I am always mindful of how other dogs are interacting with others and of the environment in order to ensure your pet is safe, and you are stress and worry free, during their stay!
