Great communication. Joshua kept us updated on what Chase and Dobby were into. He sent pictures every so often. We appreciated that. Dobby and Chase seemed to be very happy and comfortable with Joshua. Will definitely be back for more pet sitting in the future. Thank you Joshua!

My pup came back happy and tired. She loved having a yard and other dogs to hang out with. She was going to Lucky Dog but hated it so im glad I found something she likes. I appreciate them letting me drop her off early. I will definitely use them again!

Hoppy is a bit of a handful and is always up to something, he seems to enjoy the small groups of dogs Michelly places him with and he comes home tired, so I know he's been playing all day. I highly recommend.

Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. We appreciated the pictures of their day and were happy they were comfortable enough to settle in for a snooze. Their home seemed warm and inviting with plenty of comfy spaces to cuddle up. Claire had some good insight for future visits, and we hope to be able to have our boys in her care in the near future.

I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my dog Juniper. She felt right at home in Jamie's house and with her family. They gave her lots of attention throughout the day and even took her to hang out with the neighbors' dogs. Jamie sent me updates and lots of pictures throughout the day and that really helped to ease my anxiety while at work. 10/10 would recommend to everyone for dog sitting and I will definitely be bringing Juniper back to Jamie in the future!!!

About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘‍♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕‍🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘‍♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I’m here to meet them where they are.

We can tell he was very well taken care of and he gets lots of activity and attention throughout the day when he stays with her for daycare. Her dog seems to have gotten along well with our dog & I’m glad he had a friend there to play with. Would highly recommend Cassie and will definitely be sending our dog back for daycare again.

Stella hosted my pup for daycare in her home, and she was incredibly sweet and patient with him. I really appreciated how she catered to his absolute passion for fetch! He clearly had the best time. She kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was working. The biggest sign of how much he liked her was how excited he was to see her again the next day. That says everything! I will definitely be booking Stella again whenever I’m in town for work.

Daycare was a wonderful experience with Jennifer and Josh! Berry’s first visit was fantastic. He got to play and socialize, and I felt no worries while he was there. The meet and greet the day before was perfect assurance that it would be a good and safe fit. Drop off and pick up was very smooth and I received a photo and an update on how he was doing during the stay. Jennifer was also kind enough to give me feedback and guidance on training. Really looking forward to having Berry stay with them again soon.

About: My early childhood was on a farm with about eight different types of animals. After the farm, we had a series of work dogs with advanced training, an Amazon parrot, and many other birds and cats over the years. I have rescued, rehabilitated and rehoused a dozen dogs, I have raised many wonderful animals over the years, but I am currently missing pet time since I lost my darling and aged cat last summer. I am a career licensed massage therapist, and have a knack for instantly connecting with animals as well and as putting them at ease. I have a lot of experience pet and housesitting. All of my clients that had me stay at their house thanked me at length for how clean, fresh smelling and tidy I left their homes. I am happy to accommodate household practices. I have experience with special needs, administering medications, and always enjoy brushing, petting and massaging. I’m usually pretty good at pilling. I love to play with animals as appropriate for their health and well-being. Very much adhere to any language, training practices, schedule, and diet requested by the owner. My goal is always to have you returning to a very happy, healthy animal. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to walk dogs or take a lot of stairs. I work part-time from home so I am always around. I have a very large fenced in backyard. I am happy to host mature dogs here and also visit or stay at your place to facilitate the best environment for your beloved pets. I work part-time right here on the property in 60-90 minute increments. I have plenty of time to spend with some beloved pets. Often the pets that are in my care follow me around the different rooms that I spend time in and lay down next to or on me. I have a cozy three bedroom two-story house with my workspace immediately behind. Owner preference dictates whether or not pets will be allowed on furniture, but there are many nice spaces to relax. I am happy to utilize crates and any other routines but do not require them. I only work part time and spend the majority of the time here on the property. I love to engage with animals, cuddle, play, brush, practice training, and unless the animal does not enjoy it, I cannot resist massaging pets as a career licensed massage therapist. I have a very large fenced in yard with a mature garden that is generally unaffected by hosting pets. I have created a very level lawn and there is a large track that dogs love to run where they can sprint without any holes or rocks to step in or on. I use a leash to go between the door and fenced yard for dogs. Things in my life have changed recently and I very much miss animal time. These days I am unable to go for walks, be dynamic with play or handle a leash if there is any tugging but I can toss a toy and inspire play/yard running. I am very much in tune with any animals in my care and I’m committed to keeping them safe, protected and in their routines that keep them feeling grounded and happy. I believe that draining mental and physical energy keeps animals happy. At your house, I am happy to follow all of your rules and routines. I adore plants and I’m happy to provide care for those as well. I am flexible and real, so I always try to be accommodating within reason.

About: Hi my name is Andrea, I have been taking care of small breed dogs for about 5 years. I currently have a corgi and a weenie mix they get along with all dogs, they are both rescues and are still learning there manners with our human friends. I will treat your pup like my very own. I have also lived up Chambers in the hills my whole life and love walking my pups in those neighborhoods. I know times have changed and not everyone feels comfortable having there dogs walked so I do have a big yard for them to run round in. I do ask that your pup be kid friendly. I do have a toddler at home. I do take pups up to 20lbs. I will always treat your fur family member like my very own and will send updates upon request. Any questions feel free to ask. Dog sitting/boarding is my full time job plus being a mom to my toddler, I am pretty much home all day with a occasional trip to the grocery store. Your fur baby will have plenty of play time and potty breaks. I do ask that your fur baby be able to stay in a crate at night or for at least a short period of time for those times that I do need to run a errand. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. My corgi is normally lazy and likes to hangout by herself and watch.

About: I provide reliable, structured, and genuinely attentive care — not just “watching” your dog, but actively engaging with them to keep them happy, calm, and fulfilled while you’re away. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including large breeds and high-energy pups, and I tailor care based on each dog’s personality and needs. Whether that means long walks, structured play, mental stimulation, or just a calm presence for anxious dogs, I adjust to what helps them feel safest. I have experience reinforcing basic training (sit, stay, and cool tricks), and maintaining routines. I’m especially patient with puppies who are still learning and senior dogs who may need a slower pace and extra attention. What sets me apart is communication and consistency — you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins so you always know how your dog is doing. If you want picture or messaged every 5 minutes I can do that! I treat every dog like they’re my own, with safety, structure, and affection as my top priorities. I work remotely so I can work from anywhere, anytime. My job is also very flexible so I can always give your pet the attention they need at any time. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I keep a clean, organized, and pet-safe environment free of hazards, and I closely supervise all pets. I never leave dogs unattended in situations that could put them at risk, and I follow each owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, medications, crate use, and routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and maintain your dog’s normal routine to reduce stress. I ensure doors and gates are securely closed, use leashes on walks at all times, and remain alert to surroundings for safety. Communication is key — I provide regular updates and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind and give your pet a safe, positive experience every time.

An excellent place for my pup ! They are truly nice people, it’s evident that they care about their dog and the pups that come to visit them! I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog with them and he settled in right away, happily sniffing the yard and racing around the big tree in back. I appreciated that Kelsey took time to do a little fun extra training with him and she sent lots of pictures throughout the day. We will definitely book more!

Ava was wonderful with Moon! This was daycare in her home, and I really appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was. She made sure Moon felt comfortable right away and really catered to his love of fetch, which meant a lot to me. I also loved that he received so much love and attention from her roommates, it felt like he had a whole little community caring for him. You can tell Ava genuinely enjoys spending time with the dogs she cares for, and she kept me at ease throughout the day. I’d absolutely trust her with Moon again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.

Count yourself lucky to have your pup spend the day with Cassie and her dog Digby! Her home is uncluttered, clean and thoughtfully organized which was particularly helpful for a food motivated and curious dog like mine. She has a well enclosed outdoor space for dogs to run around, and lives in a great neighborhood for walks. Cassie was super professional and communicative. Our dog came home pleasantly tired after a day of play. I felt really comfortable leaving my dog with her. Her dog made a great companion for mine, and they got along famously. She even helped patiently navigate a complication with my booking through Rover support. Responsible, reliable, super personable. Without reservation, I recommend Cassie as a dog sitter. My first time using Rover and my #1 criteria was to find a daycare situation which matched or closely resembled my dog's living situation...which is just him and I...no other pets, kids or too many people. Noemi was a PERFECT match😁 We did a meet and greet the previous day which went very well. My dog is a senior but I knew if he felt relaxed he would most likely sleep much of the day aside from his joy at going on walks...which is what happened. Also my schedule was not exact per se so I greatly appreciated Noemi being flexible in that context. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Noemi and would happily hire her again.
