About: I have worked with both cats and dogs as a veterinary clinic assistant for a traveling veterinary service, a kennel attendant and socialization specialist for an animal shelter, and a pet sitter/walker for local families! I specialize in puppy/kitten care, senior care, and caring for pets with fear of anything from wind blowing on the house to thunderstorms and fireworks! I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time for dropping in, walking your pet, and house sitting! I am available anytime from 6 am to 10pm on weekdays and weekends! I value keeping your pets safe, maintaining their routine, and making sure they feel loved and well cared for! I have a senior dog of my own and know how much support, love, and attention goes into making sure she has an amazing life. I'm excited for the opportunity to provide the same support, love, and attention for your pets!
About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I know how much your pet means to you, and I treat every animal I sit for like one of my own. I have hands-on experience with both dogs and cats of all personalities — whether they're energetic and need a lot of playtime or shy and just want some quiet company. I love getting on the floor and actually playing with them, not just watching from across the room. What sets me apart is that I bring the same attentiveness and warmth to pet care that I do to working with kids. I'm active, outdoorsy, and happy to take dogs on long walks. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I work a part-time remote internship, which means I'm home a lot and have genuine flexibility throughout the day, no rushing in and out between a packed schedule. Whether it's a drop-in visit, a dog walk, or an overnight stay, I can give pets the time and attention they actually deserve rather than squeezing them in as an afterthought. Being active myself means dog walks are something I look forward to, not just check off a list. Pet care isn't a side hustle I picked up randomly, it’s something I've been doing since I was a kid sitting for neighbors' cats, and it fits who I am. I love for animals to be a part of my daily routine whether I'm working or not. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or yours, my approach is the same: calm, attentive, and consistent. In your home, I follow your pet's existing routine as closely as possible. I know that familiar surroundings make a big difference, especially for cats or anxious pets, so I keep things predictable and low-stress. I treat your space with respect and make sure your pet feels secure and settled the whole time. In my home, pets get a quiet, relaxed environment with some great perks, I have a front lawn and live right next to a park, so dogs get plenty of outdoor time and a great spot for a game of fetch. I work remotely, so I'm present throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I'm careful about introductions and always make sure any pet in my care has their own space to decompress if they need it. In both settings, I stay in close communication with owners, sending updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I take emergencies seriously, and will never hesitate to reach out if something feels off. Your pet's safety and comfort is always the priority.

“So so so glad that we can rely on Kristine over and over again to care for our pets whenever we ask. No one makes it so easy and stress free as Kristine. Thanks for always being so great to my family and for all the times you’ve gone above and beyond for us!”

About: I strive to be as reliable as a person can be and trustworthy in all my life. I have experience with a local Veterinarian and I am knowledgeable about pet care. I am extremely comfortable with all breeds of dogs and cats, experienced working with little tiny dogs and large dogs of all ages, and I've even working with the local K9 Unit. I love helping people and pets in a stress free environment for both Owner and Pet. Please consider me for caring for your pets. I also love caring for rabbits, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, and cattle if needed. Please call or email me anytime. I am available weekdays and weekends. I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in my services. I own and run my own business so I have that schedule built around my dogs schedules. All my animals have a daily care refuting and I am home a lot. I follow instructions that I always request from clients. Making sure I have the information I need to have a safe booking. I also like to make them their own safe area in my home. If they are at their own home they already have their comfort area.

“Rosa is a wonderful and caring person. She is very intuitive and instantly gained trust from my cats. She successfully delivered fluids to my kitty with kidney disease and provided me with updates. I would definitely rebook with Rosa.”

About: Your pet will be SO loved. Im very in tune with meeting animals where they are at energetically and socially and have so much fun getting to know their unique personalities. I work mostly from home Monday thru Friday. I usually need to go in person an average of about 3 to 4 hours daily between the hours of 12pm-5pm but can still pop in for additional checks and care during that time. I love going for walks, hikes, and the dog park and your bestie can ride in my car. And besides that my nights and weekend are completely free! I have a cozy 1 bedroom apartment and no pets. My space works best for small to medium dogs, but I can (and would LOVE) to host larger dogs if they’re more compact in size (like bulldogs). I am home a lot with remote work or can work from your home! There are 2 dog parks near me- one is 5 minute and the other is 3 minute drive or about a 10 minute walk uphill. I would definitely be available in person to give your pets company and love for most of the day and all night.
“Siobhan was great with our three kitties and agreed to sit on short notice which was a lifesaver. She gave great updates and even dealt with some unexpected clean up needs. Would definitely recommend!”

“Caitlin goes beyond expectations. This is the 2nd time I hire her to check in on my cat and I'm very happy with her professionalism. Her visit photos and notes are lovely and they give me peace of mind that my cat is doing well.”

“Yael, as always, was more than accommodating. Her updates are always very thorough and she makes sure to send us tons of pictures of our cats. Will continue to use her in the future.”
About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.
About: I’ve been around animals all my life! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, goats, chickens, etc. I’ve pet sat for many of my friends and have references that can vouch for the care and effort I put into caring for their pets. I’m currently out of university for the summer and have a majority of my summer open to pet sit. My schedule is flexible and I can easily adapt! I live on the ground level of my apartment so I can provide a comfortable stay for senior dogs or puppies. I can obviously offer dog walks and access to the outdoors. My environment is calm and quiet so any pet can rest, stress free!

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my personal, hands-on experience with animals of all ages and personalities. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different needs, energy levels, and behaviors on a daily basis. I also have a puppy right now, which has taught me a lot about training, consistency, and keeping up with high-energy pets. In the past, I cared for a senior dog, so I understand how important patience, gentleness, and extra attention are when it comes to older pets. On top of that, I’ve done pet sitting for family and friends, so I’m used to stepping into someone else’s routine and making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I currently attend Univeristy of Oregon and do not have a job so I am pretty open! I get out of class at 3 Pm everyday besides Monday and Wednesday (5:30) and Thursday I don’t have class. Weekends are completely free for me too. We can always chat more to see if our schedules align and also how we can work around them! I have a puppy right now so i know how to handle high energy dogs and i’ve also had a senior dog in the past so i know they need more gentle care and attention. When we first meet I’ll introduc myself to your pet so we can build trust and form a friendship :) After that just let me know all the Do’s and Dont’s and any special instructions!! I’m so excited to start Pet sitting and dog walking it’s always been a dream of mine to make it my full time profession for the moment :-) My pets back in Portland have a big fenced yard where they can play and run around. But for now I will only be doing dog-walking and petsitting at other people’s homes because I live on campus :)

“We are so thankful for Adam's help with our two dogs while we were out of town! Our younger dog has a lot of energy and Adam made sure to play with him for a couple of hours each day to tire him out. He sent regular photo updates and was willing to meet the pups ahead of time to ensure a good fit. We will be using Adam again in the future. Thank you!”

“Absolutely amazing. We had Skyla come in twice a day to check on, feed, and give some lovin to our cat. She gave us wonderful updates every time with good detail and amazing pictures. She took great care of our baby and we would happily rebook next time we go out.”

Eugene dog parents share their Rover experiences
Skyla was an absolutely wonderful canine caregiver. She adapted to our dog’s schedule, sent us regular updates and photos, and even deftly navigated through a couple of unexpected curveballs that popped up. We knew our pups were happy and being well-cared for, so that was one fewer thing we had to worry about while we were out of town. We would not hesitate to use Skyla again for future trips!

Julia was so kind, accommodating and amazing with our dogs! I have one reactive dog who is nervous around new people, and Julia was so patient with her it made drop ins very easy. Julia also took my puppy to daycare and was very flexible when my travel plans changed last minute and when my puppy needed to be picked up from daycare early. I highly recommend her to anyone with big dogs or reactive dogs or dogs in general. She’s gonna be pet sitting for us soon again and I have full confidence in leaving my dogs with her!!!

Colette was great. Since this was her vist time watching Pippa, she made time for a meet and greet the day before. Pippa warmed up to her right away. Colette arrived on time and Pippa was happy to see her again. We were sent pictures and notes during the sitting that were reassuring. Colette followed all our instructions and we will call on her again.

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful with both of our pets during our week away. She handled drop-in visits to our home with total reliability and great communication. We always felt fully in the loop with timely updates and photos, and she followed every detail we shared perfectly. Our dog Summer can be a little anxious with new people, and Jennifer handled her so thoughtfully, getting her outside to play right away, reading her body language, and using treats when needed to redirect. By the end of the week, Summer clearly was comfortable with her. She kept an eye on the house, made sure doors were locked, grabbed packages for us, and genuinely went above and beyond. Coming home to pets that were relaxed, well-fed, and clearly cared for made a good difference. We’d book Jennifer again in a heartbeat!

Nicole is fantastic. She took great care of our dog and cat, kept us updated throughout our trip, and handled unexpected things (like a small accident and a water issue) with calm and kindness. She’s communicative, reliable, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches. We always feel at ease when she’s looking after ours. Highly recommend!

Jaden is a wonderful sitter! She’s very responsive and communicative. My dog is highly anxious and hesitant around everyone, but he was surprisingly immediately happy and playful within seconds of meeting her. I was super nervous to leave him for a trip because I rarely have to, but having her as his sitter settled my worries and I will continue to rebook her!

Kendra was absolutely amazing. We are visiting our son at college and needed a quick, last minute sitter while we went to dinner. She responded immediately and told us where to meet for a quick handoff. We received pictures of Goosey getting a nice walk and cuddles. It’s nice to have someone a familiar for future visits. Five ⭐️s!
We needed care for our dog on short notice. (Our normal sitters weren't available.) Naomi was able to accommodate exactly the schedule we needed (AM and PM food plus walks, plus midday visits). We had good communication before and during the care period. Would definitely book again. Thanks, Naomi!
