About: I have been babysitting since I was 14 (21 now) however not all the families had pets but, it always made my night when I also got the opportunity to take care of a furry friend! I started focusing on animal care / house sitting more as I got older. I just graduated from the University of Oregon and have a heck of a lot of free time on my schedule! I can make most any times of the day work. Unfortunately I cannot offer care in my home however I am happy to drive to your home most any time of day when help may be needed!

About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

One of our cats is dealing with recurring pancreatitis and bowel issues, so he has detailed feeding instructions and we need to know if he's continuing to eat regularly and has regular bowel movements. Skyla handled keeping track of all of this very well, and communicates well too.”

About: Twenty plus years of fun taking care of cats, dogs of different breeds, temperaments, ages, and sizes, and even some chickens. Including Noah's ark - a rabbit, hamster, rat, and fish. I have completed Rover's safety dog video. I grew up with dogs. My energy level is low-key and calm, which enables pets to relax. I give daily text updates and send photos. I have experience in giving shots (to my cat, who had diabetes), playing tug of war, throwing the ball, and taking Fido for walks. Currently I am not working a permanent job, so my availability is wide open (other than Sunday morning commitments & taking care of my place each day). I care for your pets in your home in the way you want them cared for. I give them the time to get used to me & treat them with gentleness and love. About: I have done many types of care giving. In addition to pet care, this includes elder care and hospice care. Attentiveness and being attuned to the emotional connection and body language is essential in sharing in care. I am working part time two or three days a week but due to an injury am looking to do less physically taxing work. With my current availability, returning to pet care sounds in alignment with my schedule and life. I think about how much love and care I would want given to my cats, and I give that much to others. Often, some pets experience some stress and duress when away from their people, and so being a safe, loving, calm and playful person is the main goal. About: I have been caring for animals my entire life, having grown up with pets. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 18. Ive worked at multiple doggy day cares and training. I dont have any pets myself so your animal will have my full attention. About: I've always grew up with cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, you name it and I've maybe had it! I love taking care of them and showing how important they are to us.
