“Ariana took good care of my baby while I was away. She sent photos and updates often and went above and beyond with helping bring in packages and getting the mail for me. I would recommend her to others!”

“Sarah was great professional and warm. Took many great pics of my pup. Checked in promptly and gave me piece of mind. She has a sweet demeanor and my dog Farley seemed to love her. Highly recommend!”

About: While my specialty and preference is cats, I'm happy to provide care for your dog(s) too. I've had dogs in my life previously, and can care for well socialized, good natured dogs who live with cats that I am caring for. I can walk them, feed them, play with them, do poop-scooping duties, give potty breaks, etc. I work minimal, flexible hours from home, so I can likely meet your pet(s) care needs as requested. Can work mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I have cared for indoor only kitties, indoor/outdoor kitties, and for barn or more feral types of kitties. Will meet them where they are, and follow your instructions closely.
About: As a professional dog groomer, I bring a calm, confident energy to every pet I work with, whether they're full of zoomies or need a gentle touch. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs, including seniors and pups who are still learning the ropes. I’m attentive to body language and behavior, and I know how to make pets feel safe and cared for. I’m especially good with anxious dogs and can provide a spa-like level of patience and calm. Whether it’s giving meds, brushing out mats, or making sure your dog’s routine is followed to a T, I’ve got it covered. Your pets will be treated like my own—with love, respect, and plenty of snuggles (if they want them!). I have been a dog groomer for 8 years and counting! I am very familiar with dogs and their body language, needs, and health. I tend to like animals more than people. I would love to get some exercise with your pup or stop in and give some loves. Feel free to message me if you have any questions. We can also work around my schedule :) Thank you for taking the time to read. I work Friday through Monday but can always stop in before and after work. I have a very flexible schedule, and I am available for walks before and after work as well. When I care for pets in their home, I focus on keeping things calm, consistent, and tailored to each animal’s unique needs. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages and temperaments—my own pup, Bennie, is a miniature poodle who’s full of energy and personality, so I’m used to regular walks, playtime, and keeping up with routines! I love offering drop-in visits and dog walking because it lets pets stay comfortable in their own environment. I make sure to follow feeding and medication instructions carefully, respect your home, and give your pets lots of attention and care. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you know your furry friend is in good hands. Walks are paced to your dog’s comfort and energy level, with safety as my top priority. Whether your dog loves to explore or prefers a short, relaxed stroll, I’m here to make sure they feel happy and loved.
About: I have had dogs since a young age, my family has never been shy from a big pit bull or GSD to our small Yorkie. After my Jack Russell passed away in March I have changed my whole routine around to ensure my dog is best set up for success, whether that be an allergy diet to a halo to keep her from hitting corners. After 8 long weeks in cone time, and many many ER and regular vet visits, I have educated myself on administering medication, and constant monitoring for anything out of the normal. So much I found myself monitoring others animals! I would love to care for yours as well! I work part-time, 5 days a week. I am very flexible after 3PM most days and am currently doing online college so classes will not be an issue. I do not have a fenced yard but I am comfortable coming to someone’s home to care for their kiddo! I am always able to stop by the dog park for some much needed exercise.
About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life dogs, cats, lizards, even goats! I’ve trained my dogs since they were puppies and have lots of experience with large breeds and senior pets. I’ve also been around cats for as long as I can remember and understand their different needs. Whether it’s energetic pups, shy cats, or unique pets like reptiles, I treat every animal with love, patience, and the same care I give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because it’s something I truly love doing. I have a car for reliable transportation and flexibility, and caring for animals is my main focus. Your pet’s happiness, comfort, and safety will always come first with me I’m here to give them the best care possible, just like I would for my own. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, I do everything I can to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I stick to their normal routines, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they always feel at ease whether that means belly rubs, playtime, or just quiet company. Every animal is different, so I adjust to their needs and give them the same care and love I’d give my own pets.

About: I have done many types of care giving. In addition to pet care, this includes elder care and hospice care. Attentiveness and being attuned to the emotional connection and body language is essential in sharing in care. I am working part time two or three days a week but due to an injury am looking to do less physically taxing work. With my current availability, returning to pet care sounds in alignment with my schedule and life. I think about how much love and care I would want given to my cats, and I give that much to others. Often, some pets experience some stress and duress when away from their people, and so being a safe, loving, calm and playful person is the main goal. My main values as I enter others space is the comfort of the pet, respect of the owners and their home, and being attuned to the animals needs.
“Heather has done drop-ins for our dog Hachi (180 lb Great Dane), and has always been great. We feel comfortable with her coming by our apartment and making sure he gets a potty break and has food/water available. Heather has also been flexible with last minute changes and requests, which is something that’s extremely helpful when things don’t always go according to plan. I am leaving this review after our second booking, but I know we’ll be reaching out again for future drop-ins. We’re very pleased with her services and recommend her! Thank you Heather.”

About: I've had pets since I was born. Cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and age. I've spent the last 14 years with my soul dog. He was a Golden/Lab/St. Bernard with a lot of anxiety and a huge love of food. In his old age he had mobility problems, incontinence, was on several medications, and needed as much attention as I could give him. I am fully prepared to give any animal I meet the same level of love and care. I've been the main care provider for my dogs for the last 14 years and always put their needs before mine. Taking them potty is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. Furry friends rely on us for care and I want to make sure they are doing great. When I care for pets in your home I will follow your instructions to a T. Make sure they get lots of love, cuddles (if they like them), and attention.
“Kendra has been very responsive from start to finish, and took good care of our cat who quickly warmed up to her. She made sure to give him plenty of play time every visit, and sent us nice updates and pictures about how he was doing and what toys he was in the mood for depending on the day :) Would definitely request her again whenever we need a sitter for Mado!”

“Jules was a wonderful sitter for my cat!! She dropped in on Oreo several times over a few days. Oreo the kitty is usually very mean to strangers but she ran up to Jules and sniffed her politely (very shocking for my cat - Jules must be a cat whisperer). She was respectful of our home and prompt with communication and drop ins. Highly recommend Jules for all your kitty needs!!!!”

About: Husband and wife team here to help with your pets. We both grew up with pets, and currently have three dogs, a cat, a tortoise, and two large fish tanks. Who are we? Alison, Dartmouth class of 2014, accountant at UO, part time musician, farm girl at heart. Two for the price of one! We’re flexible with our work schedules, but both work full time. Alison at UO, Chandlor remotely for Wayfair. Just ask us and we will see if it’s a good fit. We spend a lot of time with our pets, and they are our lives. All of our animals are elderly, so we’ve spent years making them more comfortable.
About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I work full time Monday through Friday. However, my weekends and schedule can be flexible with notice. I'm your go to for quick weekend (Friday - Sunday) getaways! I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my personal, hands-on experience with animals of all ages and personalities. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different needs, energy levels, and behaviors on a daily basis. I also have a puppy right now, which has taught me a lot about training, consistency, and keeping up with high-energy pets. In the past, I cared for a senior dog, so I understand how important patience, gentleness, and extra attention are when it comes to older pets. On top of that, I’ve done pet sitting for family and friends, so I’m used to stepping into someone else’s routine and making sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I currently attend Univeristy of Oregon and do not have a job so I am pretty open! I get out of class at 3 Pm everyday besides Monday and Wednesday (5:30) and Thursday I don’t have class. Weekends are completely free for me too. We can always chat more to see if our schedules align and also how we can work around them! I have a puppy right now so i know how to handle high energy dogs and i’ve also had a senior dog in the past so i know they need more gentle care and attention. When we first meet I’ll introduc myself to your pet so we can build trust and form a friendship :) After that just let me know all the Do’s and Dont’s and any special instructions!! I’m so excited to start Pet sitting and dog walking it’s always been a dream of mine to make it my full time profession for the moment :-) My pets back in Portland have a big fenced yard where they can play and run around. But for now I will only be doing dog-walking and petsitting at other people’s homes because I live on campus :)
Springfield dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kelsie was willing to work with my busy, stubborn Aussie last-minute and even came for a meet-and-greet to make sure they’d get along. He loved her instantly! I can’t express how grateful I am to have someone I trust with my dog. I’d recommend her to anyone!

Nicole did great! She helped us out by being available last minute - after our original pet care fell through. Tim (our yellow lab) really seemed to love and have fun with her :) She was great at communicating and reaching out when she had questions. I loved all the pictures she sent. Would book again!
