About: Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m thrilled to help care for your furry family members. With a flexible schedule and a genuine love for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, I can ensure your pet gets the exercise and attention they need. Let’s make some tails wag together! Im currently working on some extra schooling certifications while my husband works full time. I have all the time in the world to dedicate to your pets! I like to offer anything I can while I care for pets. Whatever they need, im there for! Extended walks, longer playtime, medication assistance, and anything in between!
About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.
“Mariam was wonderful with my dog! She always made sure he had fresh water before she left, which I really appreciated. She was reliable, caring, and gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Teresa did an excellent job taking care of our cats. She is great with communication and sent us plenty of great (and artistic!) photos! She followed all our instructions and is very kind and caring. She even made our cat's birthday extra special. We returned home to very happy cats. We highly recommend! Thanks again, Teresa!”

“Sarah has always been available and does a wonderful job with my puppy! She goes the extra mile to make it special and I always feel at ease knowing she’s checking in on my little Arlee!”

About: I have always grown up with dogs, as well as helping my grandmother with her dogs. About a year ago I have been taking this more serious as a job and I have been helping family friends take care of their furry babies while they are out of town. I love it so much and keeps me company as well! I am currently enrolled at Lane Community College, where I am at school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-3, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-12, then the rest of my day is completely free as well as weekends. At my apartment I have a fenced in dog park, as well as a bunch of access to parks and places to walk. I do have Roomate’s, and they are really welcoming and love animals as well.
About: I've always grown up around animals, so caring for them has just always been a part of my life. I honestly can't remember a time when we didn't have dogs at home, and over the years I've also helped friends, neighbors, and family members care for their pets whenever they were out of town or needed an extra hand. Being around animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I love getting to know each pet's unique personality. Some are full of energy and always ready to play, while others are happiest going for a walk or curling up next to you, and I enjoy spending time with all of them. I'm currently in graduate school to become an elementary teacher, and I think that says a lot about the kind of person I am. Patience, kindness, responsibility, and building trust are things that are really important to me, and I bring those same qualities when I'm caring for someone's pet. I know every animal has their own routine, preferences, and little quirks, so I always take the time to learn what helps them feel comfortable. More than anything, I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I'll treat them like they're my own, stick to the routine you know works best for them, and make sure you stay updated with plenty of pictures and messages along the way! My schedule is pretty flexible outside of classes. I have time throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I love having an excuse to get outside or spend time with animals. I'll always do my best to work around your pet's routine so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I know trusting someone else with your pet can be a little nerve wracking, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away by sticking as closely as possible to the routine they're used to. Whether that's feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or simply giving them extra attention, I'm happy to follow whatever works best for them. Your pet's safety and happiness will always be my top priority. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn about their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so I can make their experience as comfortable and stress free as possible. I'm also a big believer in communication, so you can expect regular updates and plenty of photos while you're away. I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and doing well. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect and care that I would my own. I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable from the moment we meet.
“Kendra did a great job again! My cat loves her visits and I like the daily updates with pictures. I would definitely recommend Kendra and will request her in the future!”

“I did enjoy Randi services. Based on her observation, I will definitely check with the vets regarding Audi eating grass. Overall, she is good in taking care of our dog and not only that she kept the dog place clean.”

About: Hello! My name is Kyle, I'm 29 years old, and I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I've lived with dogs on and off since I was 6 years old, and I have done occasional pet sitting for friends and family. The highlight of my trips visiting family is always running around the yard with their dogs. Though I have less experience with cats, I currently live with 4 and love them almost as much as dogs. I am eager to gain more experience with a wider variety of cats and dogs, and I hope I get the opportunity to spend time with your furry friends! I am physically fit and have plenty of energy to walk and play with them. I would like to work with pets full-time. Currently, my only job is gig work, so I am available just about anytime for walks and drop-ins. Although I prefer to not work before 10am, I am willing to make an exception for the right client. For pet/home sitting, I will need to leave for 2-4 hours at a time during the day for gig work (food delivery, dog walking, drop-in pet visits), but can then return to your home for potty breaks and short walks. I can provide longer walks in the mornings and evenings, as well as plenty of play time. If you have cats, I will clean litter boxes at least once every day, and more often if needed. I will take care of your pet according to your instructions. I have lots of experience entering and exiting doors without letting eager pets escape, and I am strong enough to hold on to a large dog's leash. As an additional safety measure, I will use a waist-mounted leash during walks, so there is no risk of my grip slipping from the leash.
“Amy did an excellent job with our cats, and was very communicative when issues arose. Our cats were happy and well cared for, and I would happily recommend her to anyone!”

“Justine is the best sitter ever! She does an amazing job with my two dogs by feeding, cleaning up after them! She sends me daily updates and photos of them what they are doing. I highly recommend Justine!”

“Amy was amazing with our senior dog! She was so gentle, patient, and understanding. As a professional, Amy excels as well. She stayed in communication with us, took pictures or video, and was always on time. Our dog has some special needs and medications, and Amy made sure that everything was done just right. Amy is a joy to work with, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
About: I have been pet/house sitting since June 2017. I grew up with three labs, and am slightly biased toward larger dogs, but have met some wonderful smaller dogs and have grown to love them as well. I am happy to accommodate to the pet's needs (i.e. early mornings, lots of playtime, special needs, low energy, medications etc.) I enjoy the outdoors and am available for walks and am particularly interested in something regular - like a couple scheduled times per week. I also love cats, I have one of my own, and have experience administering medication. I currently work part-time in the nonprofit sector and am wanting to supplement my income with more work that I love! I'm seeking pet drop-in and dog walking gigs, on a regular/ongoing basis would be great. I'm not offering overnights at this time, but may be able to arrange this in the future if it's a good fit. I am detail-oriented and will follow whatever instructions you provide, including safety measures taken in your home like locking doors, setting alarms, etc. I have experience with leash-reactive, strong, and anxious dogs, and feel comfortable working with a variety dog behaviors on walks. No request for security and safety is too much.
About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I'm currently working part-time, but have a lot of availability for watching your pets. I will be at work Tuesday from 9-1 and Wednesday evenings. I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and have also taken care of pets of family and friends over the years. I know how important it is to have someone you trust and want your animals to feel comfortable and well taken care of! I have experience mostly with larger dogs and senior pets including giving oral medication so I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s needs! I work full time and I’m available when I work remotely from home on Thursday-Friday or on weekends. During those times I can accommodate frequent potty breaks, walks, or drop in visits depending on the need. I have a large fenced yard and live in a neighborhood with great access to trails and parks. I currently have a 13 year old cat who is very sweet but timid. Depending on the need I can keep my cat separate from other animals during boarding but happy to let them all hang if that works too- just let me know! I’m comfortable with leashed walks including with larger breeds. If staying at my house, the dog can have frequent access to run and play in my fenced yard.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Springfield
Adam has always been very communicative and flexible when we have booked him to visit our pups. He is very patient with our Luna, who doesn't warm up as easily, and always has a blast playing with Bucket, who has a ton of energy. This time Adam went above and beyond when Bucket tore his nail off while playing; Adam took him to the vet to get checked out while we couldn't be reached, and by the time we had seen the messages, Bucket was already in a cone and back at home. This pivoted our plans for the rest of Adam's visits to all walks instead of sometimes yard play, and he was very adaptable and helped make sure both dogs were exercised safely. We highly recommend Adam! Thank you!

Kelsie did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Rukus, while I was away. She stopped by every day for four days, stayed for the full hour, and was always on time. I really appreciated the daily photo updates, which gave me peace of mind knowing Rukus was doing well. When I got home, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book with Kelsie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Nicole did great! She helped us out by being available last minute - after our original pet care fell through. Tim (our yellow lab) really seemed to love and have fun with her :) She was great at communicating and reaching out when she had questions. I loved all the pictures she sent. Would book again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Springfield with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
