I've had dogs in my life previously, and can care for well socialized, good natured dogs who live with cats that I am caring for. About: I have had dogs since a young age, my family has never been shy from a big pit bull or GSD to our small Yorkie. After my Jack Russell passed away in March I have changed my whole routine around to ensure my dog is best set up for success, whether that be an allergy diet to a halo to keep her from hitting corners. After 8 long weeks in cone time, and many many ER and regular vet visits, I have educated myself on administering medication, and constant monitoring for anything out of the normal. So much I found myself monitoring others animals! I would love to care for yours as well! I work part-time, 5 days a week. I am very flexible after 3PM most days and am currently doing online college so classes will not be an issue. I do not have a fenced yard but I am comfortable coming to someone’s home to care for their kiddo! I am always able to stop by the dog park for some much needed exercise.

About: I’ve owned pets of all kinds my whole life. I’ve been trusted with taking care of my family and friends’ pets since I was twelve. One of my cats is older than me and has been with me my entire life, so I know very well how to take care of elderly and disabled animals, especially cats. I’ve also taken care of multiple very energetic dogs and I know how to handle their behavior. I’m very open to long play sessions or walks, but if a calm presence is what your pet needs, I am very good at providing that as well. I’m very adaptable. Whatever your pet needs, I am more than willing to do my best to give it. I’m a college student who is busy every afternoon but most mornings and almost every evening and night I am fully available for your pet. I’m completely free on the weekends as well. Understanding the signals pets use to communicate is one of the most important things to me. I value your pet’s safety and to me it is very important to know what they’re trying to say in times of crisis. I also am conscious of things in homes that may be harmful to pets, such as certain herbs, scents, or foods, and I go out of my way to ensure that pets do not make contact with anything that could be dangerous to them. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I want them to be met and for your animal to feel safe and comfortable with me and the environment.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life dogs, cats, lizards, even goats! I’ve trained my dogs since they were puppies and have lots of experience with large breeds and senior pets. I’ve also been around cats for as long as I can remember and understand their different needs. Whether it’s energetic pups, shy cats, or unique pets like reptiles, I treat every animal with love, patience, and the same care I give my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because it’s something I truly love doing. I have a car for reliable transportation and flexibility, and caring for animals is my main focus. About: I have done many types of care giving. In addition to pet care, this includes elder care and hospice care. Attentiveness and being attuned to the emotional connection and body language is essential in sharing in care. I am working part time two or three days a week but due to an injury am looking to do less physically taxing work. With my current availability, returning to pet care sounds in alignment with my schedule and life. I think about how much love and care I would want given to my cats, and I give that much to others. Often, some pets experience some stress and duress when away from their people, and so being a safe, loving, calm and playful person is the main goal. My main values as I enter others space is the comfort of the pet, respect of the owners and their home, and being attuned to the animals needs.

We feel comfortable with her coming by our apartment and making sure he gets a potty break and has food/water available. Heather has also been flexible with last minute changes and requests, which is something that’s extremely helpful when things don’t always go according to plan. About: I've had pets since I was born. Cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and age. I've spent the last 14 years with my soul dog. He was a Golden/Lab/St. Bernard with a lot of anxiety and a huge love of food. In his old age he had mobility problems, incontinence, was on several medications, and needed as much attention as I could give him. I am fully prepared to give any animal I meet the same level of love and care. I've been the main care provider for my dogs for the last 14 years and always put their needs before mine. Taking them potty is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. Furry friends rely on us for care and I want to make sure they are doing great. When I care for pets in your home I will follow your instructions to a T. Make sure they get lots of love, cuddles (if they like them), and attention.

About: Husband and wife team here to help with your pets. We both grew up with pets, and currently have three dogs, a cat, a tortoise, and two large fish tanks. Who are we? Chandlor, UO class of 2025, a freelance journalist and deferred Berkeley graduate student. Originally from the DC metro area. Alison, Dartmouth class of 2014, accountant at UO, part time musician, farm girl at heart. Two for the price of one! We’re flexible with our work schedules, but both work full time. Alison at UO, Chandlor remotely for Wayfair. Just ask us and we will see if it’s a good fit. We spend a lot of time with our pets, and they are our lives. All of our animals are elderly, so we’ve spent years making them more comfortable.

About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I work full time Monday through Friday. However, my weekends and schedule can be flexible with notice. I'm your go to for quick weekend (Friday - Sunday) getaways! I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my personal, hands-on experience with animals of all ages and personalities. I currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different needs, energy levels, and behaviors on a daily basis. I also have a puppy right now, which has taught me a lot about training, consistency, and keeping up with high-energy pets. In the past, I cared for a senior dog, so I understand how important patience, gentleness, and extra attention are when it comes to older pets. I have a puppy right now so i know how to handle high energy dogs and i’ve also had a senior dog in the past so i know they need more gentle care and attention. When we first meet I’ll introduc myself to your pet so we can build trust and form a friendship :) After that just let me know all the Do’s and Dont’s and any special instructions!! I’m so excited to start Pet sitting and dog walking it’s always been a dream of mine to make it my full time profession for the moment :-) My pets back in Portland have a big fenced yard where they can play and run around. But for now I will only be doing dog-walking and petsitting at other people’s homes because I live on campus :)
