About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.

About: I have a high drive working German Shepherds, and husky. I have always been full of energy and taking care of crackhead dogs give me a lot of patience, so puppies and active dogs are my favorite and specialty! And I've been bitten and scratched enough times, it almost tickles... Almost During hot months my dogs are given all attention in the evening/at night and during cold months my dogs are given all attention in the afternoon so there is a period of time where I can help take care of yours outside of pet care and work! I will make sure to follow strict instructions and be very attentive and watchful of your pup! My own dogs schedule consist of playing, walking, training, cuddling, feeding and potty every 4-6 hours! And I would love to treat your pet with the same amount of needs whenever you feel you can't! No dog left behind!

About: I am a walker/sitter that loves animals. I have shadowed service dog programs, police K9s, and basic obedience. About: Ever since I was 8 years old I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, walking and teaching simple tricks to our family pets. Family and friends have relied on me to not only give necessary care to their pets but make sure they are receiving all the desired attention, play time, and alone time. Since I have grown up with pets my whole life I have a great understanding of how to read cat’s and dog’s body language to know how they are feeling in different situations. I am currently living with two boy cats of my own and they are my babies! I’m currently a full time student looking for a way to get money to help with bills by doing something I’m passionate about, loving animals. I’m available to sit on weekends Friday - Sunday, and available after 2 pm on weekdays for whatever your fur baby might possibly need, may be available for overnight stays during week days depending on location. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize safety, trust, communication and a clean environment. I will carefully follow all instructions provided to me including feeding or bathroom schedules, medications or any special needs. I keep the house secure by keeping doors locked and avoiding anything that could put your fur baby at risk. I am more than happy to communicate with regular updates if desired! About: I've owned, loved, and been around animals my whole life - dogs, cats, and miscellaneous farm animals. Growing up in the country and having animal based chores from a young age helped me develop a love for animals, tolerance and patience, and the capability to care for a variety of animals in a variety of settings and environments. Closely raised alongside a veterinarian uncle taught me the value and importance of animals in our lives (and occasionally even provide assistance to a him in action). I'm also quite flexible with many things. While in my care, I can walk/exercise (or be absolutely lazy with your animal). Depending on what you request, as long as it's within reason, I am open to catering to your wishes and will do what you ask of me to keep you and your pet happy! :) ie. although I marked "allowed on beds/furniture", I understand this is not for everyone. I personally love having animals near me but also understand the importance of not allowing in my home, what is not allowed in your home. Also, I have access to my family's property out in the country where I can take your dog on hikes away from the public, run freely in large fields that are fenced in at the property line, and explore the great outdoors with them for an even more special experience while you're away! Experience (in general): listed 28 years as I've closely helped family members since ~at least~ 8 yrs of age. My sitting history mostly includes requests to house/dog sit for friends and family members over the years (both in their home or in mine). The "official" dog sitting experience is less, as this is my first time creating a professional sitting profile and I am excited to start work with people outside of my circle! :) I only marked the days I am off work completely as my available dates. These are the days in which I can provide the best/full attention care. I can provide care on work days, as long as you are okay with me working around my work schedule (ie. early mornings/evenings or nights). Otherwise... Consistently, I'm off every Fri, Sat, and Sunday. Weekdays: never hurts to check! I have many weekdays off, but they vary and depend on my office's hours. I know my days off in advance and can plan accordingly. My office closes for 7-19 days at a time 4x/year (Feb, May/June, Sept, Dec). Plus, any major holidays, we are closed and I may be available. I will take necessary precautions to keep your animal safe and cared for. I have a yard with no fence and would keep them on a leash while taking them out or on walks. If while in the country on family property, as long as we both feel comfortable with it and your dog's behavior, leash wearing is whatever you prefer. I will of course put them back on if I feel the need to. Although I'm easy going, I'm also a reliable and responsible person with common sense and enough experience with my own animals to properly care for your pet. I will always do what's needed in any situation to protect your pet and keep them safe. After knowing an animal longer and understanding their behavior/tendencies, sure, I can ease up some - but will always take more precautions at first while I am still getting to know them. And again, in any case, it's whatever you are comfortable with and would like. Details can be discussed and figured out along the way. For example, if your animal gets uncomfortable in unknown places - I am more than happy to come to you and care for them in your home! If they need this medicine at this time, you've got it! If they do better when you take them for a 45 min walk and then snuggle them for an hour, sure! If you need them to eat these specific things, at these specific times, and anything else you may need - just chat it out. I'm sure we can work the details out - and if not, I'll just say no and ask that you find another sitter who may suit you and your needs better. We'll figure it out.

About: I've had pets since I was born. Cats and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and age. I've spent the last 14 years with my soul dog. He was a Golden/Lab/St. Bernard with a lot of anxiety and a huge love of food. In his old age he had mobility problems, incontinence, was on several medications, and needed as much attention as I could give him. I am fully prepared to give any animal I meet the same level of love and care. I've been the main care provider for my dogs for the last 14 years and always put their needs before mine. Taking them potty is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. Furry friends rely on us for care and I want to make sure they are doing great. When I care for pets in your home I will follow your instructions to a T. Make sure they get lots of love, cuddles (if they like them), and attention.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have cared for them through every stage of life. I raised both of my dogs from puppies. One lived to be 18, and the other was with me for 15 years. I also raised a cat from a kitten who lived to be 16 and adopted an adult cat who stayed with me well into her senior years. Caring for my own pets from their earliest days through their senior years gave me experience with everything from puppy and kitten care, to medications, mobility changes, and noticing the little things that can make a big difference in their comfort and quality of life. Friends and family have always counted on me to care for their pets while they’re away, so I’m comfortable with a wide variety of personalities, routines, and medical needs. I work full-time Monday through Friday (8-5), but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer several services throughout the week. Dog walks: My favorite service! Available most weekdays early before work, during lunch (for nearby clients), and after work. I’m also available for walks throughout most weekends. House sitting: I have the most flexibility on weekends, but I can also be available for house sitting during the week with advance notice. About: Hello! My name is Kyle, I'm 29 years old, and I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I've lived with dogs on and off since I was 6 years old, and I have done occasional pet sitting for friends and family. The highlight of my trips visiting family is always running around the yard with their dogs. Though I have less experience with cats, I currently live with 4 and love them almost as much as dogs. I am eager to gain more experience with a wider variety of cats and dogs, and I hope I get the opportunity to spend time with your furry friends! I am physically fit and have plenty of energy to walk and play with them. I would like to work with pets full-time. Currently, my only job is gig work, so I am available just about anytime for walks and drop-ins. Although I prefer to not work before 10am, I am willing to make an exception for the right client. For pet/home sitting, I will need to leave for 2-4 hours at a time during the day for gig work (food delivery, dog walking, drop-in pet visits), but can then return to your home for potty breaks and short walks. I can provide longer walks in the mornings and evenings, as well as plenty of play time. If you have cats, I will clean litter boxes at least once every day, and more often if needed. I will take care of your pet according to your instructions. I have lots of experience entering and exiting doors without letting eager pets escape, and I am strong enough to hold on to a large dog's leash. As an additional safety measure, I will use a waist-mounted leash during walks, so there is no risk of my grip slipping from the leash.
