Formerly an employee of the University of Oregon, I’ve been self-employed for the past two years, providing dog walking and pet drop-ins as my primary work. I left the corporate world because I wanted to build a career around serving my community directly, and I’ve found that caring for pets and building lasting relationships with their owners is work I genuinely value. While my rates may be higher than others in the area, I take pet care seriously. When you’re trusting someone with your animals, your home, and your peace of mind, reliability and communication aren’t extras, they’re essential. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone who is inconsistent, difficult to reach, or simply doesn’t provide much reassurance. My goal is to be the opposite: dependable, communicative, attentive, and someone you can feel completely comfortable relying on. My current clients can tell you that I care deeply about their pets and genuinely look forward to seeing them. I take the time to learn each animal’s personality, routines, and individual needs rather than treating every visit as just another appointment on the schedule. For me, pet care isn’t a way to make quick money or simply fill my time. It’s the career and lifestyle I’ve intentionally chosen. I aim to build long-term relationships with my clients, truly get to know you and your pets, and become someone you can count on whenever you need care. When you’re away, my job is to give you one less thing to worry about and to make sure your pets are safe, happy, and genuinely well cared for.
