His walks to the ponds kept him engaged and happy. He was also socialized with other dogs that she sits. All in all he came back as a better dog and was very happy to spend time with her. About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. About: I have a cocker spaniel back home, whom I walked daily. During the winter I walked my neighbors dog 5 times a week for 45 minutes after school. I work from home managing social media for a local bakery in Portland, I make my own schedule. I also have practice from 6:25-8:25 daily. My dog used to bark at other dogs on walks, using a reward system I’ve trained her to stop and wait quietly when dogs pass.

I grew up with one Boston Terrier, and then later two Bostons, in my home and was constantly surrounded by the dogs of extended family members, close friends, and neighbors. Dogs always have supervised balcony time (or can be not let on to the balcony if there are concerns!). I am always attentive of your pet, and any shifts in behavior that seem strange will be monitored and reported to you if necessary! I am always mindful of how other dogs are interacting with others and of the environment in order to ensure your pet is safe, and you are stress and worry free, during their stay!
About: Hello, I work as a caregiver and an am CPR and 1st aid certificated along with having professional experience in medication administration. Most of my pet experience comes from having my own pets as well as helping to care for family pets while growing up. I grew up helping to care for the geese and dogs and as a teen, I had fancy rats, a cat, and a (family) dog I was responsible for. As an adult, I have my own pets and believe in positive reinforcement training with my cats and dog. I administer my own pets medicine as needed as well as do most of their grooming myself. When I'm not at work caring for others, I enjoy spending time with my pets at home and out in nature and the community. Please check my calendar for my availability. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of a clean, safe space to live and work in. I clean as I go and always do a room check before and after cleaning to ensure I got everything. When out in the community, I always check my surroundings and am mindful about what's on the ground and what's going on.

I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
