About: I've raised 2 puppies who spent their whole life with me. I've adopted 1 rescue and 1 senior. They have had health issues (particularly the rescue and senior) so I'm familiar with some of the early and intermediate signs. We are now at a point in our lives where we want to still spend time with dogs, but we aren't looking for the 24/7 commitment. So we would like to host your furry baby for a night or a weekend and give him all the joy of a good friendship without the kennel experience of a dog hotel. We will be taking on pet care Friday thru Sunday. We may be able to support an emergency during the week, but since we both work full time, that would mean I would need to work from home for a day (which is pawsible with notice). However, it would not be our preferred schedule. We want to spend time with your dogs playing and relaxing - not just leaving them in an unfamiliar space while we are at the office. We are looking for day or overnight services on the weekends when we are free and planning to be home. We would expect you to bring enough food and medication to last their expected stay plus 1 day (in case of unforeseen circumstances). Then leave the rest to us. We will give regular bathroom breaks and play times (no yard), much love and pets and be vigilant about your recommended food/medicine. We do not look forward to creating your animal. So we expect at least one of us (husband or wife) to be home at all times and we expect your dog to be housebroken.

About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.

This our third sit with Jacqueline. Cinnabon LOVES her. I love knowing that Cinnabon is having a blast and I love getting lots of updates. This time on the way to her house Cinnabon started getting excited when she recognized the neighborhood. It made our goodbye so much easier. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely outstanding experience with Joel & Crystal! I couldn’t have asked for better people to care for Murphy while I was away on a hunting trip in Wyoming! From start to finish, Crystal was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and wonderful about keeping me updated. It gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing my boy was in such loving and capable hands. It’s one thing to find someone you trust to watch your dog, but it’s another to find people who genuinely treat him like one of their own. They even went above and beyond by giving Murphy a bonus bath! The best part? When I picked Murphy up, Crystal jokingly admitted she had considered not giving him back because they loved him so much! 😂 I told her I’ve heard that from just about every Rover sitter Murphy’s stayed with, but sorry, that’s my boy and he’s coming home with me! That pretty much says it all. Murphy clearly had a wonderful time, and I was able to enjoy my trip knowing he was happy, loved, and well cared for. Five stars aren’t enough! Joel and Crystal have earned my highest recommendation, and Murphy will absolutely be back! 🐾
Jessi was unbelievably kind and accommodating for my special needs dog. Even though I told her not to bother sending pictures because we would be out of cell range - when we got service back I was welcomed with a bunch of happy pictures! Nova didn’t want to leave, which is seats a great sign!
Mahalia was great with my German Shepherd during a multi-day stay. She was friendly and easy to work with from our first meeting through pickup.
