“We have had a great experience leaving Gunner with Joel & Crystal. They are so very nice and love him like their own. Quick to reply and sends updates while we are gone. Our go to dog sitter!”

“Denise is kind and caring. She has taken great care of our little Terrier and always updated us as well while we were away. Thank you Denise! We so very much appreciate you!”

“Lauren was a wonderful sitter and we were lucky to have her take Winnie last minute. Our girl had a great time with Lauren and Poppy pup, and we hope that she’s available next time we need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful experience with Alexis. Excellent communication. She took awesome care of Cooper. I was gone for a week. She sent pictures and updates. He was very happy and I never worried about him. Her love of pets is genuine.”

“I had a great experience with Keith and his family! They sent me lots of updates with pictures, gave my dog loads of attention and love, let him snuggle with them in bed, and kept him safe during his stay. I appreciate how communicative they were, I will definitely book them again in the future! Can’t recommend enough :)”

“Diane was very sweet, sent updates and Zeus had the best time. He came Home happy and tired. I’ll definitely be using Diane in the future and I’ll refer any time I can. Book Her!”

“I had a last-minute appointment I needed to keep and Cecilia was wonderfully accommodating. My kitties came home and settled back in, after spending the day with her. I appreciated her responsiveness and will use her again should the need arise :)”

“Katelyn was wonderful with our dogs! She sent daily pictures that reassured me they were in good hands. She is a kind and gentle person and our dogs could not have been in better care!”

“Sarah and Anthony were the perfect sitters for our little dog. They also have a big dog and small dog to keep her company. Their house is very dog friendly as are they, thank you so much for taking such good care of her and sending pictures. This experience could not have been better!”

“Caitlin was easy to communicate with, and her house is perfect for pet sitting, replete with a grassy backyard and dog door. Comfy, clean, welcoming environment. You can tell she really cares for the pets in her charge. Future repeat customer!”

“Puka looked happy, shiny, and healthy when I returned home from vacation! A big thank you to Amy for sending photos every day of Puka in cozy, comfy places and for brushing her. I trusted Amy and her family to treat Puka like one of their own and would definitely book with them again! 🥰”

“Ying has helped me taking care of Panda for more than one year. It is very cozy in Ying’s house. Ying takes Panda out for playing every day, which provides Panda with plenty of exercise and is very good for his health. He can even groom Panda by cutting its hair, giving it a bath, trimming its nails, plucking its ear hair, and expressing its anal glands. He has just moved to this platform, and this is the first order on Rover. Panda super likes to stay with Ying. Every time I tell Panda we're going to Ying's house, he gets very happy and eagerly waits for me to put on his collar.”

“I recently boarded my dog with Tessa for a few days and it was a wonderful experience! Her property is not only beautiful and spacious but she also sent me tons of updates and photos while my dog was in her care. Definitely will be a repeat client. Thank you so much! 🐾”

“Erin was at the door waiting for our dogs to escort the dogs into her home for drop off. She also brought the dogs to the door at pick up. The dogs came home, happy and healthy and glad to see us. ✅.”

“Can’t say enough about my experience. I think my dog has more fun there socializing and playing in the pool than he does at home! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will schedule them again myself.”

“Teresa was fabulous, on all levels. Knowing that Remy was been taking care of and having a great time made my vacation more relaxing. Teresa made it a vacation stay for the pup, walks, parks, new experiences - he obviously had a great time. I will definitely use Teresa again.”

“Highly recommend Corynne and Matthew! They watched our 2 dogs while we were out of the country for 11 days. They did great with both of them, which are completely different in their needs: one a very energetic 2 year old heeler mix and the other a 16 year old lab mix. They administered meds for our senior also. Our dogs had such a great time, they didn’t want to leave. Will be booking again - thanks!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Springfield
Alexia was very flexible and easy to work with throughout the weekend. The meet and greet with Coy and her dog went great and gave me the opportunity to get to know Alexia and share more about Coy and his routines. The pictures of the hike she took Coy on were greatly appreciated, as were the text updates. My wife and I will definitely keep Alexia in mind the next time we are in Eugene.

This was my first time leaving my dog with a non-family member and was a bit nervous, but Cassandra did an amazing job and truly made me feel like my dog was in good hands! She sent me lots of photos and videos of him which I enjoyed very much. She took him on walks, played a lot, and overall took great care of Frankie. I would definitely rebook with Cassandra again if I ever need more dog boarding/sitting!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
