“Madison took great care of my little senior. She provided me updates and pictures. My girl was as perfect when I picked her up as she was when I dropped her off. Would recommend!”

“If you are looking for someone to look after your small dogs, then look no further! Claire is amazing with dogs, especially small ones. I received numerous updates per day, along with accompanying pictures. She is very patient with older dogs that are set in their ways. We also got stuck on our trip for an extra and Claire was able to handle the request easily for me.”

“Denise was great! She communicated well prior to the trip, sent pictures and updates during Bailey’s stay per my request and was very kind and sweet. Bailey is a small dog with a big personality and grouchy at times and she did well with him. Would recommend and book her again!”

“Wonderful experience with Alexis. Excellent communication. She took awesome care of Cooper. I was gone for a week. She sent pictures and updates. He was very happy and I never worried about him. Her love of pets is genuine.”

“We are so grateful to Amy & Rob for taking such wonderful care of our dog! We felt that they listened to our care instructions and concerns and felt confident throughout our pup's stay. Amy & Rob were attentive, kind, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay - and provided photos of our dog's meds being administered which we appreciated so much. Our dog came back happy and well-cared for, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be booking again in the future!”

“This was Cashew's his first time without me and he's two! He's a blond and white 11 pound Pomeranian So it was kind of a big deal especially for me to leave him with a new person for 2 nights and three days. Teresa set up a play date for him one day which he loved . I found Cashew happy and calm when I returned. Teresa is very calm, very attentive and loving. Also she reliable and trustworthy. Cashew stayed at her place but Ill be giving her a key to my home in the future. She supplied him with plenty of play and walks. She will be my first choice when I need a sitter. Julie V.”

“We had a very good experience with Katelyn. Lovely family. A few small and delightful kids. Our beagle, Lucy, got on well with their larger dog. Katelyn is our new go-to provider. Lucy will be with her again this coming weekend.”

About: I have 10+ years of experience caring for dogs. Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a dog-lover through and through! Since early middle school, my family and I have rescued and loved 4 amazing dogs. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I've cared for dogs of family, friends, and co-workers in their homes. As I write this, I'm watching two great pups! I am responsible, caring, and have experience with a variety of different breeds. From bigger dogs like Great Danes, Pitbulls, Bulldogs, and Boxers to smaller pups like terriers, Chihuahuas, and all kinds on little poodle mixes. I am happy to walk, feed, snuggle, play or just spend time with your fur babies! I'm available for boarding on weekends. I work hybrid and can occasionally accommodate longer stays depending on when I work from home. I spend a lot of time at home and would be able to spend a lot time with your pet. I live in an apartment, so frequent potty breaks and walks outside would be given. I would prefer to crate your dog while i'm out of the apartment. I'm not usually away for more than a couple of hours.
“My dog was well cared for and enjoyed playing with Amanda and Matthew’s dogs. He liked the attention he receives from them and was tired after returning home. I appreciated the photos, videos, and updates about my dog while he was in their care. Great experience overall.”

“A very caring and communicative pet sitter. His home is also set up very nicely to care for pets and he sends frequent videos and photos. Highly recommend!”

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
