He's a blond and white 11 pound Pomeranian So it was kind of a big deal especially for me to leave him with a new person for 2 nights and three days. I often used her as the “Ice Breaker” dog when I ran the boarding facility - meaning she did all the temperament testing for any newly boarded dogs we were socially unsure about. We have multiple baby gates, and crate option for separation of space. A dog door built into our back door leading into our fully fenced, toddlerized but maintained, grassy residential yard on a quarter acre. We live in a very quiet tiny town on an even quieter little street, perfect for safely regulated walks and training opportunities.

I have 10+ years of hands-on experience working with (primarily) dogs and cats in both shelter and clinical environments. I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society, where I provided daily care and enrichment for incoming and resident animals. I later worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice clinic for 4–5 years, gaining extensive experience with patient handling, client communication, and medical care in a fast-paced setting, while completing a bachelors in pre-veterinary medicine and a wildlife management certificate. I carry those principles into every visit, prioritizing calm, low-stress care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and personality. In addition, I am fully bonded and insured, and I maintain independent professional coverage beyond Rover platform protections. Currently, I am progressing on completing the BLS/ALS CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (the evidence-based standard used in veterinary medicine) and I will officially have that achievement met on May 16th! Additionally, I am continuing to expand my Fear Free certification in the coming weeks to include a higher tier of canine/feline care and a broader range of species in general. I am comfortable administering medications through a variety of routes and have experience caring for multiple species, including dogs, cats, and backyard poultry such as chickens and turkeys. While the majority of my experience is within the small animal realm, I have additional experience with a variety of species. About: Experienced with all animals as well as even providing shots and medical care. I will love them until you come back home. I have two dogs of my own one is a mastiff so I am experienced with big dogs and my other pup has suffered from anxiety so I am very understanding of animals that may suffer from separation anxiety. Pups will be in good hands :) I am available mostly on weekends but can definitely make time during the week if I know in advance :) I love all dogs big or small and look forward to helping you out. :) I can provide pictures with updates and phone calls whenever you need or have worries. About: I have experience with all sorts of animals. I have worked with dogs and cats and most other household pets including snakes and birds. I have also worked with horses and most livestock farm animals. I make a daily roster of animals to care for and schedule my time accordingly. I care for my animals first always and help my community with animal care needs. I have a large fenced yard with room to run. I have 2 female dogs that are well trained and managed. The smaller mutt is elderly (11) and has a room of her own where she will put herself as needed. My big girl Sally, the Bernese is friendly to all animals large or small and really the very best calm neutral dog I have ever known.
