About: I’ve been pet sitting for nearly 2 decades now (holy cow! I’m old enough to say that. Woof! ((No pun intended)). I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes. Cats of all attitudes. And even a few birds! I have a nearly 10 year old pitbull named Bindi, and she is a baby girl. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 8 weeks old and she has been by my side ever since. She and I did a lot of training together and I am used to working with big, powerful breeds. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so when my kiddo starts school this fall, I will have a lot of extra time to be able to help others take care of their fur babies. Before having my kiddo, I worked full time, so I understand the importance of needing a trusted person to help out sometimes. When I rescued my pitbull, Bindi, I knew there would be a lot of people out there who would judge her just because she was a pitbull. I knew I had to be extra careful not to let her get loose (even though she was trained). So I’m a huge advocate for tags on collars, collars fitting correctly, always using a leash when not in a fenced backyard. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also house sat for many neighbors and friends over the years. I am respectful of other people’s things and spaces, and can be trusted to follow the directions that are given for each visit or walk.

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, and caring for them isn't just a job for me, it's a lifelong love. I've pet- and farm-sat for friends, family, and clients who trusted me to feed, walk, and administer medications to their furry family members. About: I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have experience with many types of dogs including larger breeds and more active breeds of dogs. I enjoy them all. I also have significant experience in equine care. I'm self employed so flexibility for your pets is not an issue. I will make sure that your pet always gets the time that they need. About: Im Lily, and I love dogs! •My speciality is large breed dogs! I have my own 100 pound Black Russian terrier, Thea who is my baby. •I am also very comfortable with watching and walking intact dogs. As I know the importance of a large breed staying intact until they are fully mature. I have experience caring for dogs in heat, and understand the behavior change that occurs in the dog experiencing it and the potential for it to effect male dogs around. • I am happy to help with potty breaks throughout the day, walks, bathes, basic training, and preparing specialty meals for your puppy! I am not a dog trainer but I am more than comfortable and capable of helping with basic training for dogs and puppies, such as, potty training, recall, on leash walking, and basic commands (sit, stay, down, etc) • I do love big dogs, but I would be ecstatic to help with your puppy or small dogs, since my dog has grown up, I don’t get to experience having a little pup/dog around. • Socialization is great for dogs but can be hard to trust when you don’t know a dogs temperament or vaccination status. If you are looking for your dog to have social activity with a well behaved, healthy dog Thea would be more than happy to join a walk or play date. I am currently a student taking online classes, so my availability is open. I am very flexible and more than happy to be on your schedule! I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. My kitchen is clean and I don’t leave food out so a dog getting into something they shouldn’t would be very hard.

About: I’ve never known life without animals. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, and horses, and have been responsible for animal care in some form since I was around six. Today, I have three dogs and three cats of my own, including two dogs under 1.5 years old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, training routines, enrichment, walks, and consistency. I also have experience caring for senior pets, cats and dogs with different medical needs, and animals who need a little more patience or structure. I’m comfortable giving oral and injected medications, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and noticing when something seems off. I’m also very active and love hiking, so I’m happy to tailor exercise to the dog in front of me — whether that means a relaxed neighborhood walk, a longer adventure, extra sniffing and enrichment, or helping a high-energy dog burn off some steam. What I bring most is a lot of real-life animal experience, patience, and attention to detail. I know the small things matter when someone else is caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am self-employed and work from home M-Th, so I can work anywhere and have long weekends. My work days are completely on my own schedule, so I have time for potty breaks, walks, play time, or drop in visits whenever needed. I'm happy to help with your pets on any schedule. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take the time to understand their specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications, exercise preferences, and any household rules before care begins. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pets and the space, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and anything else that could affect safety. I also pay close attention to behavior and changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything that seems unusual. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their usual routine as possible while you’re away.

About: My wife and I have a combined experience of 14 years taking care of all kinds of animals. We see them as family. We were a former care coordinator for our local humane society before moving to Oregon and take looking after your family very seriously. Don't like a male in your home? No problem we'll arrange for my wife to present instead. We work together for you! After the passing of our dog we wanted to start Rover in memory of our Chewy we have 2 Cats and 1 small Senior Dog that would be isolated in our master bedroom to give your family member the space and attention they deserve! About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I have one of my own. I have trained and raised a couple puppies and housesit and cared for many dogs. I also have veterinary care experience. My schedule is currently very open and I am looking to add caring for animals more into my life as it is something I really genuinely enjoy so I’m available for last minute or prepared ahead of time plans I have a fenced in backyard, with access to a doggie door. I have a miniature dachshund, and a domestic shorthaired cat. My animals rule the roost and are cared for exceptionally well. With access to food and water and a cool house with comfortable beds.

About: Caring for pets has been an important part of my life for as long as I remember and I know how important it is that our furry family members get the best care when we are away. From daily feeding, playtime, and training to handling medications, vet visits, trips to the emergency vet, I've done it all. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid. With an 18-month-old boxer of my own, I know all about working with exuberant dogs and puppies and am always learning new training techniques to help with enrichment and obedience. A few things I would like every pet parent to provide me before I care for their pet. We can discuss this, and anything that I missed, when we first meet. - Expected arrival and departure dates and time - Emergency contacts besides yourself - Feeding schedule and instructions, including treats allowed - Health conditions to be aware of - Detailed medication instructions if needed - Name and address of their vet - Closest emergency vet - Pet temperament (fears, anxieties, etc) - Toys and favorite games - Where pet(s) sleep - Where they are and are not allowed in the house or yard (if dog) Dog: - Their potty habits - Equipment such as harnesses, leashes, poop bags, treats etc. - Anything I need to know about their behavior outside of the home (walking, in the car, around other animals and people) - Crate rules (if used) House (if housesitting): - Alarm instructions if applicable - Trash, recycling, and mail/package handling - Location of pet supplies - Location of thermostats, electrical panels, laundry, etc. - Wifi password, remote controls, etc. - Any service professionals who might visit during the stay (cleaners, yard maintenance, etc.) - Expectations around plants, mail, clean-up before your return I'm retired from the UO, so outside of my volunteer hours (~6 hours/week), my schedule is very flexible! I'm happy to work with the schedule that suits your pets needs. Meeting your pet's needs is my highest priority, whether it is playtime, quiet affection, a long walk, or simple companionship. I ask that all pet owners leave detailed instructions on their pet's needs, including what treats they can have, medications required, how they like to play, what actions or situations might cause anxiety, and all information for vet care and emergency contacts.

About: I have trained my own dog to be a good citizen canine as well as a service animal. So I have experience teaching dogs to sit, stay, leave it lay down, as well as other commands. And hope to be able to use this training to help with your dog or puppy. Ever since I was young I've had a real affinity for animals and they're really drawn to my sweet and caring nature. I can be a bit shy at first but you won't regret giving me a chance to help your pets out. Right now my schedule's pretty open any day of the week as long as I can get to address have a driver license,I look forward to getting to know more dogs and spend time playing with them. I have unfenced yard , will always take precautions and have leash on a dog when taking it for potty breaks I do have a dog of my own he is a service dog for a living but I can always kennel his to keep your dog safe or put him in my bedroom.

About: Ever since I was 8 years old I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, walking and teaching simple tricks to our family pets. Family and friends have relied on me to not only give necessary care to their pets but make sure they are receiving all the desired attention, play time, and alone time. Since I have grown up with pets my whole life I have a great understanding of how to read cat’s and dog’s body language to know how they are feeling in different situations. I am currently living with two boy cats of my own and they are my babies!
