Josh listened to my requests for their first meeting and had such good vibes and body language that it was a mere matter of minutes before Ziggy was literally eating out of his hands and Ziggy had no problem with Josh following us upstairs and hanging out inside. I didn't doubt for a second that Josh could handle Ziggy's antics and his strength on the leash. Josh sent daily updates and pictures of Ziggy out on walks and snuggling with him on the couch. I had a friend checking in on my kitty but Josh noticed that she (the cat) had thrown up in the spare room and not only let me know about it, and kept an eye on her mood/behaviors but even took it upon himself to clean up the mess! About: I helped raise our family dog, a golden doodle for his 10 years so far with us. We also just brought in a stray puppy in January, so I am familiar with the puppy stage. He was probably 3 months when we got him and he’s now a year old at least. I am currently free all day everyday during the summer. However when the year starts when I will be free after school on weekdays, because I plan to substitute teach. I will still be available weekends though. I love all animals and I promise to do my best to keep your animals safe. I am organized and will follow the directions I am given to keep your animals safe.

I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for nearly 2 decades now (holy cow! I’m old enough to say that. Woof! ((No pun intended)). I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes. Cats of all attitudes. And even a few birds! I have a nearly 10 year old pitbull named Bindi, and she is a baby girl. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 8 weeks old and she has been by my side ever since. She and I did a lot of training together and I am used to working with big, powerful breeds. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so when my kiddo starts school this fall, I will have a lot of extra time to be able to help others take care of their fur babies. Before having my kiddo, I worked full time, so I understand the importance of needing a trusted person to help out sometimes. When I rescued my pitbull, Bindi, I knew there would be a lot of people out there who would judge her just because she was a pitbull. I knew I had to be extra careful not to let her get loose (even though she was trained). So I’m a huge advocate for tags on collars, collars fitting correctly, always using a leash when not in a fenced backyard. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also house sat for many neighbors and friends over the years. I am respectful of other people’s things and spaces, and can be trusted to follow the directions that are given for each visit or walk.

About: Hello I’m Bianca! I am entering my senior year at U of O, barista at Dutch, and I want to love/care for your fur kids! I grew up with 3 corgis in my family, so I learned daily dog care early on with walks, feeding schedules, and playtime. Since then, I’ve taken care of family dogs and dogs belonging to close family friends, and I even dog sat for a breeder with more than 10 dogs at once, so I’m familiar with managing multiple dogs with different personalities, and busy households. I treat every pet like my own and can’t wait to be their new bestie 😋 I work part-time at Dutch Bros, so my schedule shifts week to week and I don’t have fixed days off. That said, I’m generally very flexible and can definitely work around my shifts to fit in walks and drop ins. Just send me your dates and I’ll let you know what works! 😊 Since I’ll mostly be taking care of pets at your home, I like to stick as close as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, and whatever you’re used to doing. I’m careful about stuff like keeping doors and gates shut, giving meds if needed, and just making sure your pet feels comfortable the whole time. I love sending updates and photos so you’re not stressing while you’re away!
