About: Hello fellow animal lovers! My name is Shealea and I have over two years combined experience working with dogs. I was a handler as well as a team leader at one of Eugene's premier dog boarding facilities where I gained a plethora of knowledge and experience in all things canine related! My approach is to treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. "Dog's are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." I am a SAHM so I have a flexible schedule to meet your pet care needs! About: I have trained my own dog to be a good citizen canine as well as a service animal. So I have experience teaching dogs to sit, stay, leave it lay down, as well as other commands. And hope to be able to use this training to help with your dog or puppy. Ever since I was young I've had a real affinity for animals and they're really drawn to my sweet and caring nature. I can be a bit shy at first but you won't regret giving me a chance to help your pets out. Right now my schedule's pretty open any day of the week as long as I can get to address have a driver license,I look forward to getting to know more dogs and spend time playing with them. I'm not currently working so I have as much time in the world to spend with your dog and to make sure it gets its daily exercise and other basic needs. I have unfenced yard , will always take precautions and have leash on a dog when taking it for potty breaks I do have a dog of my own he is a service dog for a living but I can always kennel his to keep your dog safe or put him in my bedroom.

About: Caring for pets has been an important part of my life for as long as I remember and I know how important it is that our furry family members get the best care when we are away. From daily feeding, playtime, and training to handling medications, vet visits, trips to the emergency vet, I've done it all. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid. With an 18-month-old boxer of my own, I know all about working with exuberant dogs and puppies and am always learning new training techniques to help with enrichment and obedience. A few things I would like every pet parent to provide me before I care for their pet. We can discuss this, and anything that I missed, when we first meet. - Expected arrival and departure dates and time - Emergency contacts besides yourself - Feeding schedule and instructions, including treats allowed - Health conditions to be aware of - Detailed medication instructions if needed - Name and address of their vet - Closest emergency vet - Pet temperament (fears, anxieties, etc) - Toys and favorite games - Where pet(s) sleep - Where they are and are not allowed in the house or yard (if dog) Dog: - Their potty habits - Equipment such as harnesses, leashes, poop bags, treats etc. - Anything I need to know about their behavior outside of the home (walking, in the car, around other animals and people) - Crate rules (if used) House (if housesitting): - Alarm instructions if applicable - Trash, recycling, and mail/package handling - Location of pet supplies - Location of thermostats, electrical panels, laundry, etc. - Wifi password, remote controls, etc. - Any service professionals who might visit during the stay (cleaners, yard maintenance, etc.) - Expectations around plants, mail, clean-up before your return I'm retired from the UO, so outside of my volunteer hours (~6 hours/week), my schedule is very flexible! I'm happy to work with the schedule that suits your pets needs. Meeting your pet's needs is my highest priority, whether it is playtime, quiet affection, a long walk, or simple companionship. I ask that all pet owners leave detailed instructions on their pet's needs, including what treats they can have, medications required, how they like to play, what actions or situations might cause anxiety, and all information for vet care and emergency contacts.

About: I’m here to give you some piece of mind while you’re away from your pets. With a pup of my own, I understand how important it is for your pets caretakers to be reliable and conscientious of their needs. I’m happy to take them for a walk or just drop in and give them some company and play their favorite games! My current schedule is very flexible and I work from home for the most part. This gives me the opportunity to work around any kind of walking or pet care schedule and really prioritize your pets needs. I have a 12 year old dog and live in an apartment so my place isn’t the best for hosting other pets. I can only care for pets in their homes.

About: I have experience working as a vet tech during the summer of 2021, along with experience nursing/raising newborn puppies at home. I love all animals! I work remote all week! I have a flexible schedule that can be adjusted based upon client’s preferred time of service. I do travel for work occasionally, but my calendar is updated with all future travel plans. I can easily make your pet feel safe and confident with a stranger in their home! All pets will receive attention, care, and importantly: love.

About: Im Lily, and I love dogs! •My speciality is large breed dogs! I have my own 100 pound Black Russian terrier, Thea who is my baby. •I am also very comfortable with watching and walking intact dogs. As I know the importance of a large breed staying intact until they are fully mature. I have experience caring for dogs in heat, and understand the behavior change that occurs in the dog experiencing it and the potential for it to effect male dogs around. • I am happy to help with potty breaks throughout the day, walks, bathes, basic training, and preparing specialty meals for your puppy! I am not a dog trainer but I am more than comfortable and capable of helping with basic training for dogs and puppies, such as, potty training, recall, on leash walking, and basic commands (sit, stay, down, etc) • I do love big dogs, but I would be ecstatic to help with your puppy or small dogs, since my dog has grown up, I don’t get to experience having a little pup/dog around. • Socialization is great for dogs but can be hard to trust when you don’t know a dogs temperament or vaccination status. If you are looking for your dog to have social activity with a well behaved, healthy dog Thea would be more than happy to join a walk or play date. I am currently a student taking online classes, so my availability is open. I am very flexible and more than happy to be on your schedule! I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. My kitchen is clean and I don’t leave food out so a dog getting into something they shouldn’t would be very hard.

About: Experienced with all animals as well as even providing shots and medical care. I will love them until you come back home. I have two dogs of my own one is a mastiff so I am experienced with big dogs and my other pup has suffered from anxiety so I am very understanding of animals that may suffer from separation anxiety. Pups will be in good hands :) I am available mostly on weekends but can definitely make time during the week if I know in advance :) I love all dogs big or small and look forward to helping you out. :) I can provide pictures with updates and phone calls whenever you need or have worries. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was ten years old. My little sister and I were quite the entrepreneurs, and created our own pet-sitting business in our neighborhood, taking care of our neighborhood pets. I absolutely love taking care of animals and am highly interested in a career working with them. I also have a fur baby of my own! I currently am working part-time and taking a gap semester, so I generally have open availability and can make time to stay overnight or drop by easily! About: I have three beautiful cats at home that are super energetic and snuggly! My family had cats while I was in high school and I love being around all animals! Just moved to Eugene from Tennessee and currently have open availability! I’m an early riser so if you need a dog walked in the morning, I’ve got you! About: Having grown up in a household with at least 2 dogs in it at all times, and usually another foster, I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and sizes, from newfies to gsds to king charles caveliers. About: I love all types of pets! I grew up taking care of dogs, cats, fish, and guinea pigs. In addition I have helped on my cousins farm for years helping all sorts of animals. I take pet care seriously and love studying each breed and learning the specific care needed for each pet. I have helped in all stages of a puppies life as I have a corgi and have been through puppy care but also before moving out I cared for my parents senior dog until he passed. I can’t wait to care for your furbabies! I currently work Monday- Thursday. I am off at 6 so I can watch overnight, I also am off Friday- Sunday and can help with any number of things! I currently care for a dog and a cat. I absolutely love going on walks and spending time playing with my puppy. I am very big on maintaining my puppy’s weight since he is a corgi and I want to minimize his chance of getting arthritis. I also have a very sweet and energetic cat, she loves climbing and sleeping and playing her old dog brother. I am also very used to cleaning up any accidents and hygiene care for all types of creatures. About: I grew up with cats and dogs in my house and I had pet frogs! I previously was a pet sitter for dogs, cats, and sometimes other critters. Afternoon/evening/overnights during the week, or weekends work best for me as I do work. My job is flexible with me being in and out of the office, so with a day notice I could potentially do mornings and mid days. I am very open to respecting what the pet owner ask of me. I share my home with my sweet pup, Penny, who gets along great with every dog she meets. When your pup stays with me, they'll get plenty of walks, belly rubs, playtime, and potty breaks every couple of hours. I'll send regular photo updates so you're never out of the loop. I prioritize staying home during pet-sitting periods so your dog always has company and comfort. My house is spacious, pet-friendly, and close to a dog park — perfect for exercise and fresh air.
