“Rachael K. was fantastic. She took excellent care of my very spoiled house cat. We met initially and I was impressed by her experience and overall competence. She house sat as well as taking care of our cat and took great care of the house as well as the cat. She sent us pictures of Stripe, our cat,throughout our trip- I was getting a bit jealous at how happy he was especially seeing him cuddling up with her (which he does with my husband but rarely with me!) When my husband was were experiencing some separation anxiety she promptly alleviated it with a couple of pictures of how happy he was. We were able to contact her whenever a concern arose and she replied promptly and addressed it. (above separation anxiety and a freeze warning that needed some plants brought indoors.) On arriving home he was happy for us to be home but I think he is missing Rachael a bit! He was obviously well cared for. So- as you can tell- we had an excellent experience with Rachael K. and will be using her in the future.”

About: I have been a regular dog and house sitter for a family in the Eugene/Springfield area for 5 years. The family had 3 dogs. Duration of length of pet and house sit varied from one overnight to a month. I have also done feline check-ins for a a friends. Have done one-time-only pet sits for other people and regular pet sits for housemates with their own pets. I'm currently unemployed. I have ample time to prioritize care for your pet. I am seeking part time employment. If found, this will extend the hours of day that your pet is left alone in the house. I am attentive. If you have a dog, we ARE going on walks and WILL play. I follow instructions as to food quantity and medication administration. I clean up pet waste. I water gardens. Will do some cleaning during my stay if you'd like. Will clean up after myself and your pet.
About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, a snake, and even a chinchilla throughout my life, so I’ve truly never known life without being surrounded by animals. I’m a huge animal lover, and caring for them has always come naturally to me, whether they’re my own or belong to family and friends. I have roughly 10+ years of non-professional experience and 3 years of professional experience caring for pets, including pet sitting and working with animals of different personalities and needs. A lot of the photos on my profile are actually with pets I’ve cared for, pet sat, or even strays I’ve come across and helped. I also love the outdoors and hiking, so if your pet enjoys being active or going on little adventures, I’m more than happy to bring them along in a safe and fun way. At the same time, my current pets are total couch potatoes who love to relax and lounge around, so I’m just as comfortable matching that calm, low energy vibe. Whether your pet is playful or prefers to take it easy, I’m attentive and focused on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy being around animals and caring for them. I currently live with my roommate’s 2 year old cat, so I’m used to daily care and attention. I also will be helping care for a new dog starting later this year, which I’m really excited about. I’m flexible and able to plan my schedule around pet care needs, whether that’s daily visits, walks, or spending extended time with your pets. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pets are well taken care of while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment and keep a clean, calm, and pet safe space. That being said, I’ll be moving into a townhome with more space at the end of August. No matter the space, I’m attentive, patient, and committed to creating a secure and loving environment for every pet I care for.
About: I got my first pet at 18, a kitten who was from a stray in the neighborhood. I still have that cat today she is 16 and a 1 year old rescued chihuahua mix. I’ve fostered over 30 dogs and a few kittens, volunteered at our local animal shelters and worked events trying to find pets loving homes. I love caring for animals and being a person animals trust. I am a self employed person so my schedule is very flexible, I take my own dog on daily walks and can fit things in easily. My animals are the center of my world and I am always wanting them to be safe, comfortable and loved. I will do the exact same for your babies within your household boundaries. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.
About: I have done dogsitting and catsitting for seven years. I've done so for four or five families. I've grown up with pets, so I'm very comfortable with them. Currently, I work part time so I have plenty of time for this work during the week. I can do daily walks, check ins, and dogsitting. I am happy to care for pets in your home however you prefer. About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I'm currently working part-time, but have a lot of availability for watching your pets. I will be at work Tuesday from 9-1 and Wednesday evenings. I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.
About: I work in healthcare as my full time job so I have knowledge of caring for humans which can be similar in some ways to caring for the furry population. I have 2 German Shepherds and a golden that I have raised since they were 8 and 9 weeks old! I am familiar with potty training and crate training. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I love them as if they were my own! I am available M-Th for walks, drop ins and sittings as I work weekends. I may be able to consider certain requests with advance notice. When I’m not busy, I love to spend time with four legged friends! I have a fenced yard and live very close to a dog park. About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life growing up. I currently own a rescue pit mix who is my whole world and best friend. I’m an active sitter who is willing to run, walk, or play fetch with your dog. I love playing with and cuddling with cats as well. My family was big into dog training growing so I can work well with puppies. I also have experience with medicine as my family cat as been sick and my dog was adopted with heart worms. I have a huge heart for animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I have a part time job and a remote job that are both very flexible. I can be available at any time of the day or week. I unfortunately can not have pets in my home since it is very small. However, when I stay with clients pets in their home I always treat it with the most respect. I treat every pet as if they are my own and every house as if it is mine.
