About: I’ve been pet sitting for nearly 2 decades now (holy cow! I’m old enough to say that. Woof! ((No pun intended)). I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes. Cats of all attitudes. And even a few birds! I have a nearly 10 year old pitbull named Bindi, and she is a baby girl. I rescued her from a shelter when she was 8 weeks old and she has been by my side ever since. She and I did a lot of training together and I am used to working with big, powerful breeds. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so when my kiddo starts school this fall, I will have a lot of extra time to be able to help others take care of their fur babies. Before having my kiddo, I worked full time, so I understand the importance of needing a trusted person to help out sometimes. When I rescued my pitbull, Bindi, I knew there would be a lot of people out there who would judge her just because she was a pitbull. I knew I had to be extra careful not to let her get loose (even though she was trained). So I’m a huge advocate for tags on collars, collars fitting correctly, always using a leash when not in a fenced backyard. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also house sat for many neighbors and friends over the years. I am respectful of other people’s things and spaces, and can be trusted to follow the directions that are given for each visit or walk.

About: I’ve never known life without animals. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, chickens, a pig, and horses, and have been responsible for animal care in some form since I was around six. Today, I have three dogs and three cats of my own, including two dogs under 1.5 years old, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, training routines, enrichment, walks, and consistency. I also have experience caring for senior pets, cats and dogs with different medical needs, and animals who need a little more patience or structure. I’m comfortable giving oral and injected medications, following detailed feeding and medication schedules, and noticing when something seems off. I’m also very active and love hiking, so I’m happy to tailor exercise to the dog in front of me — whether that means a relaxed neighborhood walk, a longer adventure, extra sniffing and enrichment, or helping a high-energy dog burn off some steam. What I bring most is a lot of real-life animal experience, patience, and attention to detail. I know the small things matter when someone else is caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am self-employed and work from home M-Th, so I can work anywhere and have long weekends. My work days are completely on my own schedule, so I have time for potty breaks, walks, play time, or drop in visits whenever needed. I'm happy to help with your pets on any schedule. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take the time to understand their specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications, exercise preferences, and any household rules before care begins. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the pets and the space, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, leashes, food, medications, and anything else that could affect safety. I also pay close attention to behavior and changes in appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything that seems unusual. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and as close to their usual routine as possible while you’re away.

I also have significant experience in equine care. I'm self employed so flexibility for your pets is not an issue. I will make sure that your pet always gets the time that they need. About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I have one of my own. I have trained and raised a couple puppies and housesit and cared for many dogs. I also have veterinary care experience. My schedule is currently very open and I am looking to add caring for animals more into my life as it is something I really genuinely enjoy so I’m available for last minute or prepared ahead of time plans I have a fenced in backyard, with access to a doggie door. I have a miniature dachshund, and a domestic shorthaired cat. My animals rule the roost and are cared for exceptionally well. With access to food and water and a cool house with comfortable beds.

About: Caring for pets has been an important part of my life for as long as I remember and I know how important it is that our furry family members get the best care when we are away. From daily feeding, playtime, and training to handling medications, vet visits, trips to the emergency vet, I've done it all. I volunteer weekly at the Greenhill Humane Society socializing shy and nervous cats and have completed a course in pet CPR and first aid. With an 18-month-old boxer of my own, I know all about working with exuberant dogs and puppies and am always learning new training techniques to help with enrichment and obedience. A few things I would like every pet parent to provide me before I care for their pet. We can discuss this, and anything that I missed, when we first meet. - Expected arrival and departure dates and time - Emergency contacts besides yourself - Feeding schedule and instructions, including treats allowed - Health conditions to be aware of - Detailed medication instructions if needed - Name and address of their vet - Closest emergency vet - Pet temperament (fears, anxieties, etc) - Toys and favorite games - Where pet(s) sleep - Where they are and are not allowed in the house or yard (if dog) Dog: - Their potty habits - Equipment such as harnesses, leashes, poop bags, treats etc. - Anything I need to know about their behavior outside of the home (walking, in the car, around other animals and people) - Crate rules (if used) House (if housesitting): - Alarm instructions if applicable - Trash, recycling, and mail/package handling - Location of pet supplies - Location of thermostats, electrical panels, laundry, etc. - Wifi password, remote controls, etc. - Any service professionals who might visit during the stay (cleaners, yard maintenance, etc.) - Expectations around plants, mail, clean-up before your return I'm retired from the UO, so outside of my volunteer hours (~6 hours/week), my schedule is very flexible! I'm happy to work with the schedule that suits your pets needs. Meeting your pet's needs is my highest priority, whether it is playtime, quiet affection, a long walk, or simple companionship. I ask that all pet owners leave detailed instructions on their pet's needs, including what treats they can have, medications required, how they like to play, what actions or situations might cause anxiety, and all information for vet care and emergency contacts.

About: I've taken care of a variety of pets since I was young. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, fish, chickens and goats. I have experience caring for both young and senior dogs. I prioritize play and walks for young, active dogs. I have also administered medication to senior pets. I am a cleanly person and will clean up pet waste during the duration of my sit. I am currently employed part time. If you are ok with your pet being left alone for 5-6 hours for 3-4 days of the week please contact me! Right now, I don't work weekends so your pet would not be left alone for as long on Saturdays and Sundays. Beyond working, I do prioritize ensuring dogs are given regular bathroom breaks. I am attentive. If you have a dog, we ARE going on walks and WILL play. I follow instructions as to food quantity and medication administration. I clean up pet waste. I water gardens. Will do some cleaning during my stay if you'd like. Will clean up after myself and your pet.

About: I've been around pets of all kinds my whole life. Even a little gator at the local pet and pet supply shop. When it comes to dogs, cats, birds, and lizards, I love them all, most of the time they love me, some tolerate until they warm up to me. I love training animals of any kind, or at least trying. :) I have part time availability, but I'm usually able to adjust my schedule to fit in with any client needs. If you pick me, your pet will always take priority and I'll do my darndest to make them comfortable and happy around me. I live in a house with a fenced back yard. No pets, though our neighbors are often come by for a planned or welcomed surprise visit. As for a clients home I've learned over the years to leave a place the same way I found it. I respect your home and belongings. I can't wait to meet your pet.

About: Safety is always my number one priority while pet sitting. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a safe environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and owner guidelines to keep every pet healthy, comfortable, and protected at all times. Although I do work a part-time job, I try my best to fit pet sitting in my schedule because it’s what I love to do! Animals will always be well taken care of, I insure that your pets will be let out before I have to take off for work, making sure water is full and fresh. I will be back to love and care you’re pet in a timely manner! Although I do not offer boarding, I prefer watching animals in their owner’s home because I feel like it makes the animals more comfortable to be in a well-known environment. My biggest priority is making sure the owners have peace of mind while they are away and know that their animals are in a safe hands.

About: Ever since I was 8 years old I have been responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, walking and teaching simple tricks to our family pets. Family and friends have relied on me to not only give necessary care to their pets but make sure they are receiving all the desired attention, play time, and alone time. Since I have grown up with pets my whole life I have a great understanding of how to read cat’s and dog’s body language to know how they are feeling in different situations. I am currently living with two boy cats of my own and they are my babies! I’m currently a full time student, working a part time job looking for a way to get money to help with bills by doing something I’m passionate about, loving animals. When caring for your pet in your home, I prioritize safety, trust, communication and a clean environment. I will carefully follow all instructions provided to me including feeding or bathroom schedules, medications or any special needs. I keep the house secure by keeping doors locked and avoiding anything that could put your fur baby at risk. I am more than happy to communicate with regular updates if desired! I will also be sure to clean up after your pet and leave your home same or better condition than I found it.

About: I love all critters and have an especially soft place in my heart for the elderly and/or disabled. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. It would be an honor to be of service for you and your fur baby :) I am flexible and available, single, no kids, and also a home care worker. I only work 4 hour shifts, so pet care can very easily fit in and around my other work schedule. When I meet you and your pet, you can show me the care routine, and I will confirm that I understand every step. What works well is if the supplies are visible and steps are also written down and left somewhere I can refer to if needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.

About: I have trained my own dog to be a good citizen canine as well as a service animal. So I have experience teaching dogs to sit, stay, leave it lay down, as well as other commands. And hope to be able to use this training to help with your dog or puppy. Ever since I was young I've had a real affinity for animals and they're really drawn to my sweet and caring nature. I can be a bit shy at first but you won't regret giving me a chance to help your pets out. Right now my schedule's pretty open any day of the week as long as I can get to address have a driver license,I look forward to getting to know more dogs and spend time playing with them. I'm not currently working so I have as much time in the world to spend with your dog and to make sure it gets its daily exercise and other basic needs. I have unfenced yard , will always take precautions and have leash on a dog when taking it for potty breaks I do have a dog of my own he is a service dog for a living but I can always kennel his to keep your dog safe or put him in my bedroom.
