They knew exactly how to approach & navigate her unique personality and have made her feel right at home. My dog typically takes a few weeks before she warms up to new people, but somehow they managed to get her comfortable with them on the first visit! So grateful for these guys! Will be back!”

“Journey is the perfect sitter for our reactive baby. I could immediately tell she has lots of experience and is comfortable with even fearful dogs like ours. The thing about Journey that I am most appreciative of is that she has Fear Free certification. She showed in all her communication with me that she understood Guinness’s needs through his body language and was respectful of his boundaries (however long they lasted, apparently he got pretty cuddly!). I will definitely be bringing Guinness back for boarding, daycare, and probably grooming too. I can’t express how grateful I am to imagine being able to board Guinness and therefore travel again! About: I've been lucky to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, that is 50+ years of wagging tails. I know how important consistency is for keeping dogs calm, especially when they're staying somewhere new. My goal is to make their time with me feel as close to "home" as possible. Whether your dog (aka family member) wants snuggles, a cozy nap spot, playtime with my dog, or a little quiet space to themselves, I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently in between jobs, which means I’m home full‑time and able to give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day/night. My home is relaxed, warm, and set up for dogs to feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I keep things safe, clean, and low‑stress, and I follow each dog’s natural rhythm — whether that’s playtime, naps, snuggles, or simply hanging out nearby. I share my home with my young male mix‑breed dog (born 12/6/24), a poodle/wire‑haired terrier mix who’s neutered, well‑behaved, and absolutely loves meeting new dog friends. He’s gentle, social, and always happy to have a buddy around, but I also make sure every visiting dog has space and downtime whenever they want it.

Daisy was nervous at first around the big, but gentle, dogs in the home because she is teeny tiny, but they gave her time to get used to everything and settle in, and by the end of the day Daisy was so comfortable she was eating her dinner, which historically she is too antsy to do at new sitters’ houses! Daisy says thank you to Jenny for the lap time and snuggles. And communication with Joshua was always extremely fast, which put me at ease. Thank you both!”

About: I grew up working at my family’s dog grooming shop. I have seen many breeds and personalities in high stress situations. I have volunteered at the humane society and have taken behavioral dog classes. I have spent years working on my relationship with dogs and understanding them and myself. I’m currently in school Monday-Thursday. I am very communicative about my availability. I am also pretty open due to not working. My daily and weekly routine is mostly based on your needs. I have 2 cats in my apartment so I prefer pets who are socialized if they are coming to my home. I would give the pet their food to your schedule and amount. I am able and good at helping to administer medications, if needed. I can take them on walks. I’m pretty flexible with adapting to whatever is needed.

About: I’ve been caring for horses, dogs, cats, chickens and yes even cows my whole life and as my kids have become adults I’d love to offer some of my new found free time to your pets as well on temporary basis when needed for vacations, long days away or check in’s or walks when you’re gone overnight or for trips out of town. As a 42 yr old empty nester who can only walk and hike and rollerblade with my dog so much I’d love to use some of my available time to help others with their pets! I personally know how much I appreciate knowing my pet is cared for when I’m not home and would love to offer the same comfort on occasion in your home and possibility for occasional boarding at mine as well. As a Licensed Real Estate agent I am very experienced with the care and trust it takes to let someone in your home and as a loving dog owner I know how precious these furry friends are and how important their health and safety is to their humans.

About: I have had a pet most of my life (cats and dogs). My grandparents had a farm and I loved helping care for the pigs and cattle. I worked on a horse ranch in my adult life. I currently have a 5 year old German Shepherd Dog that I raised from a pup. I work full time as a nurse so this will be part time on days I’m not at the hospital. On my pet sitting days, I will be home/available all day to care for your pet, go on walks, go to the park, etc I have a fenced yard and can accommodate crates if needed. There’s plenty of areas to go on leash walks or explore the dog park.

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was a child. My pets are my children, and I would treat your pets the same way. I have experience with senior dogs taking care of my own as a senior and taking care of a senior bichon frisée with lots of medication needs. I also have experience taking care of dogs with seizures. We also were foster dog parents with a local rescue for about a year. Both my husband and I work from home full time so we would be home all day with your pets. I also go on frequent runs where I take one of my dogs and would be happy to take yours as well. I have a fenced yard and two other dogs in the house. Dogs are allowed everywhere in our home and the couch is pretty much owned by them. Our dogs have their own room in our house and sleep in a queen size bed that has plenty of room for your pup.

About: I am definitely the person that gravitates towards the fur babies at social gatherings. I experience with my own dogs and cats, AND petsit for friends. I have two dogs and a cat currently. I'm happy to host your dog as long as they're non-aggressive and non marking around other animals. I work full time in Albany, but may on occasion be able to change my schedule with advanced notice. I work full time Monday through Friday. However, my weekends and schedule can be flexible with notice. I'm your go to for quick weekend (Friday - Sunday) getaways! I love hosting friends and family, and your pets are the same! I make sure they understand their surroundings and have the basic needs met, water, food, bathrooms, AND fun.
