About: I’ve had dogs, cats, fish, lizards, guinea pigs, hamsters, a snake, and even a chinchilla throughout my life, so I’ve truly never known life without being surrounded by animals. Duration of length of pet and house sit varied from one overnight to a month. I have also done feline check-ins for a a friends. I started by volunteering for neighbors friends on trips or working 12 hours shifts, just to stay busy, and it was awesome to see how my daily visits helped their overall health over time. Visiting with critters is always the highlight of my day. I move slowly, carefully, speak softly, so my energy is a great fit for older or anxious animals. I love them all, and every step. Greeting, walking, playing, chilling, pets and massage, special diets, and I have no problem helping administer medicine or any extra special care that is needed. I will take photos to either text or email you while I am at your home with an update for each visit.
About: It’s been rough - three rainbow bridge trips in short order. I need more time before I go down that road again, but in the meantime, I will happily love your dog (or cat, or parrot, or lizard, or...?) as if s/he were my own. I have a special fondness for seniors and special needs, but I’m game for anything. And, who doesn’t like puppies and an in-the-prime-of-lifer?? Ornery, shy, suspicious, or complicated personalities happily embraced. I am patient and sensitive to the fact that some animals need lots of closeness and reassurance while others need their space. The pet and owner and I will work together to set the terms of our relationship, and I promise to be a most excellent guardian catering to each individual’s needs. My most consistent regular obligation is a daily trip to the barn to take care of my horse, but if needed, I have alternate coverage. I try to keep my presence low profile while I’m there. I appreciate the trust that comes with visiting in someone else’s home. When you come home, it’s nice for everyone if you can barely tell I was there.
About: I’ve been a pet mom for years, love all critters and they tend to love me back. Look forward to meeting and caring for your fur babies. I work days M-F, from home most days, also available eves and weekends. Happy to board if personalities mesh with my pets; drop ins & walks are options also. I have a nicely fenced, safe and private back yard and a doggie door for dogs 45 lbs or so and under. I have a one year old Australian Labradoodle who loves to play.
About: Hi, I'm Madeline! I'm always active taking my dogs for long walks and hikes, or to the local dog parks. I'm a lifelong dog lover, and proud dog mom. While I’m new to Rover, I bring years of trusted experience walking and sitting dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages from playful 8-week-old puppies to wise 13-year-old seniors. The dogs I'm carrying in the photos have been family to me since they were pups, and ones I've had the pleasure of looking out for. Friends and family have relied on me time and time again, one even called me a dog whisperer after watching me connect with their strong-willed pointer mix! I’ve studied basic training techniques through a puppy obedience course, guidance from a professional trainer, and good ol' YouTube. These tools help me better understand each dog’s energy and needs, whether they’re high-reactive adventurers or mellow cuddlebugs. My goal is always to make your dog feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet because I’d love to connect with you and your pup! Whether your pet needs regular daily walks, last-minute check-ins, or extended sitting while you're out of town, I’m here to help. My open availability means I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and make sure they get consistent care and attention. I've had the pleasure of dog sitting and walking for close friends and family, always making sure to follow any specific instructions provided. Since summer days can get especially hot, I’m always prepared by carrying a bag with essentials like water, a bowl, treats, poop bags, and a frisbee. For my dogs, if the pavement is too hot (I always check with the back of my hand), they wear protective boots to prevent burns, and if you're dog has some little booties, I'll make sure their paws stay protected and take frequent shade breaks. On those extra hot days when it’s safer to stay indoors, I make sure my dogs still get their energy out with games, enrichment toys, and fun training tricks. I love keeping things playful while prioritizing safety and well-being.

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life growing up. I currently own a rescue pit mix who is my whole world and best friend. I’m an active sitter who is willing to run, walk, or play fetch with your dog. I love playing with and cuddling with cats as well. My family was big into dog training growing so I can work well with puppies. I also have experience with medicine as my family cat as been sick and my dog was adopted with heart worms. I have a huge heart for animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I have a part time job and a remote job that are both very flexible. I can be available at any time of the day or week. I unfortunately can not have pets in my home since it is very small. However, when I stay with clients pets in their home I always treat it with the most respect. I treat every pet as if they are my own and every house as if it is mine.
