“Alisa was an absolute god-send; we just moved to the area and had had an absolutely hellish arrival (flat tires, extra days off work, etc) and contacted her last minute so we could have time to unpack and regroup. She was SO empathetic to our situation, and did absolutely everything in her power to make things as easy on us as possible. Luna came home happy and exhausted, and you could truly tell that she’d had an amazing day. You can also tell from the get go that she’s a genuine animal lover—10 out of 10 recommend!!”

About: My husband and I take care of the animals together. As a bonus our 6 year old likes to play and cuddle with the pets. We have always had a passion for animals. Who doesn't love animals? They love unconditionally, they are the best of friends, and they are cute! We have been pet sitting for about five years now. In those five years we've learned that pets are just like humans except we have less hair. We give pets the attention they need so they feel they as well are on vacation. I have experience with administering medication to dogs, in pill form and with a syringe. My husband and I have schedules that switch. One of us is always home. My husband also works 5 minutes away from the house so when he comes home for breaks he is able to let your pet out if I am not home. We have a big backyard that is fenced, it is perfect for playing fetch. Lots of cuddles and love, if your fur baby is into that.

“Daycare was a wonderful experience with Jennifer and Josh! Berry’s first visit was fantastic. He got to play and socialize, and I felt no worries while he was there. The meet and greet the day before was perfect assurance that it would be a good and safe fit. Drop off and pick up was very smooth and I received a photo and an update on how he was doing during the stay. Jennifer was also kind enough to give me feedback and guidance on training. Really looking forward to having Berry stay with them again soon.”

“Lindsey is absolutely fantastic! She got to the parking lot to meet me faster than I could get out of the car! My dog Strudel absolutely loved her and I can tell she had a good time. I would definitely leave my dog with her again. If you need someone to watch your dog, go with Lindsey!”

About: I have always grown up with dogs, as well as helping my grandmother with her dogs. About a year ago I have been taking this more serious as a job and I have been helping family friends take care of their furry babies while they are out of town. I love it so much and keeps me company as well! I am currently enrolled at Lane Community College, where I am at school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12-3, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-12, then the rest of my day is completely free as well as weekends. At my apartment I have a fenced in dog park, as well as a bunch of access to parks and places to walk. I do have Roomate’s, and they are really welcoming and love animals as well.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to grow up around animals my whole life. I have experience with training them to do tricks, bathing, feeding, playing, and of course cuddling. I have two chihuahuas back at home with my parents and a two year old kitten here with me! My kitty Stormi, has multiple health conditions that I’ve been tending to since adopting her. One of my chihuahuas at home has to wear a diaper and the other is elderly and is given medication daily, so I have a wide range of experience with taking extra special care of our pets. I have lots of experience taking care of my own animals and others, as I used to pet sit frequently in highschool and am currently volunteering at PetSmart! Needless to say, I think any time spent around animals is time well spent. I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, which means I can usually accommodate to you and your little babies needs! I’m willing to arrange my schedule to be able to keep your pet company and spend as much time with them as I can. I’m currently working at UO’s Neuroscience Institute creating Well-Being & Happiness Programs for the students, which means I’m available to work most evenings and nights. As well as, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday I’m available the entire day. I care for my cat by making sure to play with her as much as possible. Feed her at a consistent time everyday. I give her a bath about every two weeks. I used to clean her litter box everyday, but recently invested in an electric littler box that self cleans (woohoo)! As far as taking care of your baby, I’m extremely detail oriented and good at following directions. I can follow whatever care instructions you’d like me to, to make sure your pet is sticking to their schedule, getting enough play time, outside time, and of course love.

“Very pleasant stay for Copper. Cierra was great and provided lots of photos”

“Kieran took amazing care of Ava. I would say she went above and beyond our expectations. Ava came back to us happy and tired after a great afternoon hike. I would highly recommend Kieran.”

“Ginger is a godsend!!!! Sophie had wonderful walks, nap time, cuddles and more! I got my little rescue just about three weeks before I brought her to Ginger. She settled right in and even let someone the other dogs greet her. (She is a little shy). It is good for Sophie to be socialized and not be completely dependent on me. Ginger is amazing and you can tell she knows dogs well! I would recommend Ginger to any SMALL dog person. I was a little anxious about leaving her, but now I know she is in the BEST of hands! Thank you Ginger!”
