About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. I also take care of cats. I grew up with a ton in my family home. Im currently unemployed, I have been aboard. Im taking my time to find a job that involves pets. So my attention will be fully on your pet. I can care for your pets in whatever way you possible require. I have all the free time in the world to make sure your pet is taken care of.

They have an excellent set-up for a fun, safe "day camp" for dogs with different natures - active, chill, aloof, garrulous! Our little tugger is a playing machine, and initially presents as intense, so I wasn't sure if he'd fit in. Before taking us on, Jen and Josh met with us in person at their location, and on day 1, I felt that they were observing him carefully, based on Jen's updates. When visit #2 rolled around, as soon as we got to the front entrance where Jen was waiting, I became non-existent and the tugger embarked on a great day! I'm truly grateful to have found this setting- the tugger benefits greatly from the socializing and activity, and it happens in a secure place with attentive and caring humans!”

About: I worked in Veterinary medicine as a CVT for 15 years. I’m now in real estate so I have the experience but am able to work from home and spend hours with animals that need special care & medications (whether orally, injectable or topically). I am comfortable with most farm animals as well. My rates are based off of pets that need that extra care/ medications etc. Depending on their needs (or ease of care) my rates can be flexible! Just ask and we can discuss your/your pets needs to figure it out I am available for walks or drop ins most days but for boarding (my house or yours), I am available Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend. Because I can work from home your animals don’t have to be lonely while you’re away! I am active, healthy and smoke free. I love walking dogs, running them at the park, playing chase or tug a war or whatever shenanigans your pet loves. I’ve raised goats, chickens and pigs and have some experience with cows and horses. I have helped with reptiles and birds too.. As having worked in day practice and emergency medicine I have a wide knowledge and experiences with various medical needs, diseases and behaviors. I pay close attention to body language and want to make your time away as stress free and reassured as possible. I am happy to help with house needs during the stay as well such as watering plants, getting the mail, taking out the trash, etc.
