Ruthie was amazing! We left our dog Bowie with her for a week. Bowie has significant separation anxiety and that this was a hard thing for him. Ruthie and her dog Welly were good, steady companions for Bowie throughout. Even when Bowie unexpectedly had to go to the vet and he needed extra care while we were gone, Ruthie saw him through all of that. Knowing that Bowie was safe and well-cared for while we were away made our trip possible. Ruthie was the perfect person to care for our dog while we were away -- thank you, Ruthie!
Book with Ruthie. Our pup was so perky, happy, and relaxed when we came to pick him up after a 4 night stay. He is usually an anxious pup scrambling to leave the boarder’s house. But with Ruthie, he came out to greet us then started to lead us back in 😆 Ruthie gave Great updates, respected our wishes, and was easily accessible. We plan to book with her again and would recommend her services.

I will be patient & kind to your dog & their environment will be safe. All positive supervision & reinforcement. Pets are allowed on the furniture unless they have been trained not to be. Specific owner requests are adhered to & followed.

A typical day
Your dog will have lots of stimulation and supervision in my care. They will receive play time, fresh sniffs, puzzles, enrichment games & well-earned naps. Toys, snuffle mats, puzzles, balls, frisbees, sticks and squirrel chasing are all available! I pay attention to the behavior & demeanor of your pet & adjust my care accordingly. If your dog is energetic, they will typically come home happy & tired. If your dog is more chill, they will typically come home enriched & content. If your dog is anxious, they will typically come home relaxed & calm.
