My husband and I have been professional dog sitters, both of us working full time at it for the last 9 years. We believe we have an ideal situation to be your best friend's second home away from home. We specialize in smaller dogs under 35lbs. and only consider dogs up to 40lbs if they are of a very calm disposition and able to be well behaved with some of our very tiny/10lbs or lesser sized dogs we often host. We truly open our heart and homes to your furrbaby with them having access to a squirrel viewing couch, and all the plush amenities they are used to. We have an amazing environment for your small to medium sized dog with many positive attributes to consider. First, we want to reiterate that dog sitting is both of our full time jobs. We are dedicated to you dog’s health, attention and happiness. This is not a side job for us, all of our attention is devoted to our pack at all times. Your dog will NEVER be left alone. (The reason the puppy rate is higher is that it insures that at least one person will have eyes on him nonstop.) We offer an ideal location is only 3.5 miles from Downtown in the rural South Hills of Eugene. Your dogchild will be able to enjoy all the luxuries of a pampered and relaxed environment. No irritating cats or kids here! This place is all about the Pooches. We offer a plush environment indoors and a half acre of very secured fenced yard in the back. New addition this year is a huge covered porch over our back deck for outdoor fun during bad weather ! Mila, our gentle, playful and calm dog is a wonderful friend to play or hang out with. Yofi, our gentle Maltese poodle mix can also prove to be a good friend. Your pouch can decide whether or not to hang out on a couch or soft bed inside or lounge on my pottery barn patio couch on the back deck while overlooking the on-goings of the backyard. Our lower yard is exactly like a small dog park minus the fear that a strangers dog will be aggressive. There is alot of grass to sniff around in and in the summer shaded outdoor areas to relax and take in the summer smells. Plus safety is key here ! We have double gates at all exits to ensure no escapes and in our 9 years we have not had one!! We know how to help your anxious or shy dog feel more comfortable and can provide them with a safe, loving environment. We really love dogs and they know it! We know what it takes to maintain a healthy pack and extend that benefit to your pup. The dogs get plenty of exercise by playing in the backyard with friends or a ball and you can rest assured our 1/2 acres is VERY well secured as you will see during the meet and greet. We have a lot of experience dealing with both very young and old dogs. Upstairs, downstairs, and outside are fuzzy dog beds and handicapped accessible couches. We also have dog doors, carpeted walkways and lighted ramps for elders to easily access the outside. We can accommodate sick and blind guests. Do you tend to feel anxious about your pet? Yes, we totally understand! We will send you daily updates and texts according to your preference. We are completely committed to your pet’s attention and care. Your dog's safety will be our highest priority. Our yard and home has been dog proofed. We will be paying close attention to your pet so you can travel and rest easy that your best friend is in good hands. PLEASE NOTE: our drop off and pick up times are between 8 am and 8pm. Please plan on booking and extra night if you cannot drop off or pick up within these time frames. There is about a 30 min window of flexibility on either side of these times if need be but it is not our preference. Also note the overnights are based on a 24 hr stay with a two hour grace period. If you cannot pick up at the same time of drop off we may need to add on a day care charge. Please ensure your dog comes in a clean or recently bathed state, we let them sleep under the covers/ in our bed and I happen to love expensive bedding. Thank you 🙏
