“Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. We appreciated the pictures of their day and were happy they were comfortable enough to settle in for a snooze. Their home seemed warm and inviting with plenty of comfy spaces to cuddle up. Claire had some good insight for future visits, and we hope to be able to have our boys in her care in the near future.”

Daisy was nervous at first around the big, but gentle, dogs in the home because she is teeny tiny, but they gave her time to get used to everything and settle in, and by the end of the day Daisy was so comfortable she was eating her dinner, which historically she is too antsy to do at new sitters’ houses! About: My experience started with our family dog, I learned to care for Maggie with love compassion and an attention to detail for her unique needs. I moved on to pet sitting my friends dogs making sure to play, brush, and walk them regularly. I have experience administering oral medication, training, and clear dog communication (approach from the side, start with a pet on the chest, show an open hand etc.) I've volunteered with the humane society for 2 years and have experience dealing with dogs that are traumatized and timid. About: My family has had dogs my whole life and I can’t imagine a world without them! Large or small… I love them all! I live an active lifestyle and enjoy surrounding myself with animals. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their animals and now I would love to care for yours! I'm a self-proclaimed pet sitting specialist! I am currently a student-athlete at the University of Oregon and am available to care for your pet while finishing up my first year in Eugene! I’m available for drop-ins, walks/runs/hikes and dog sitting. I am honest, responsible and have reliable transportation. While in my care, your fur baby will be treated like a loved family member and you will receive updates with pictures and texts. When I am home during the summer, I live on 1/2 acre and have a large fenced-in yard with two friendly large breed dogs to help keep your fur baby company and to play with. When i’m at school in Oregon I live in a nice apartment right off campus. I can take your pup for walks/runs/hikes or even a Starbucks run for a yummy PupCup!
