About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. They were super attentive with my little spoiled brat (and I say that with love 😄). He was always wagging his butt and happy to go back, which says it all. I really appreciated how they noticed he was picky with food—he wouldn’t eat there, but they still checked in and made sure I knew. He had plenty of playtime and always came home happy and tired, which is a win in my book! I didn’t want him going on walks because of his reactivity to cars, and they totally respected that—he got plenty of backyard play instead. Bonus points for being flexible with my chaotic work schedule. Highly recommend! 🐾”
