I regret boarding my dog at all given her old age and underlying condition that predisposes her to respiratory issues—but that’s 100% on me.”

About: I’ve been around animals all my life! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, cows, goats, chickens, etc. I’ve pet sat for many of my friends and have references that can vouch for the care and effort I put into caring for their pets. I’m currently out of university for the summer and have a majority of my summer open to pet sit. My schedule is flexible and I can easily adapt! I live on the ground level of my apartment so I can provide a comfortable stay for senior dogs or puppies. I can obviously offer dog walks and access to the outdoors. “Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. About: Growing up, I've always taken care of at least 3 pups/cats at any given time and have been raised to treat them like siblings rather than just animals. I've done almost everything in pet care you could think of including grooming, bathing, feeding, boarding, staying over for long hauls, etc. And if given the opportunity I would love to care for your pets as if they were my own, creating a good experience for them while also easing your mind during your travels or workdays. I am off 4 days out of the week so during those times I can be completely committed to your pet! The days I do work I am able to leave to take out pets multiple times during my shifts, so rest easy, they will not be alone for too long. I am a very mailable person and can bend/adjust to you and your pets needs; just let me know beforehand :) In my home, I do own cats and they are okay with dogs and cats. If I am needed to stay over at the client's house, I will follow all house rules set and will to not deter from your usual schedule with the pets lives (same walking times/routes, play times, etc.) Each watch/play date is different so whatever is most advantageous to the client's interest along with the pets comfortability and happiness is what I will do :)
