I recently graduated from college with a bachelor's in psychology. Now I am living with my Mom and working on finding ways of making money from more than one source. I am working on becoming certified as a yoga teacher, applying to become a substitute teacher, and also pet sitting on here. I also am in the process of becoming an energy medicine practitioner. Right now my schedule isn't super busy but it may become more busy in the future once I am teaching yoga classes and filling in as a substitute teacher. I still should have time for some pet sitting as a side hustle though.

I always ensure that all the animals I care for feel safe around me. If I am told that an animal dislikes being picked up, then I, of course, will not pick up the animal, for example. I always let animals smell my hand before petting them or getting super close to them, so they feel safe around me. If animals are ok with being touched, it is usually pretty obvious. If it isn't obvious, I am always cautious so they don't get uncomfortable.

Before sitting a pet I would like to know their name, gender, and size. I would also like to know all the basic information i need for taking care of them like what to feed them and when to feed them. And, if they need any special treatments, and if they tend to bite.
A typical day
I can walk dogs pretty much anywhere that is available. I live near a park that has a trail and am in driving distance to a dog park. I can play fetch with dogs, tug of war, and can run around with dogs.

Alyssa was wonderfully attentive for the drop-in visits we scheduled to take care of our two cats. All of the instructions were followed precisely and she provided all the photos I requested (worried for a cat who doesn't eat well when we're not at home). She also provided great notes with context of what she observed during her visits. We met for a meet & greet at the house and to go over the care routine, and we were impressed with her pleasant and calm energy which is a must for any caretaker of our anxious cats. Alyssa was wonderful! Responsive, flexible and caring. We were so lucky to have Alyssa housesit and care for our 10 week old puppy and 18 month old dog. We received cute photos and nice updates. Alyssa even stayed an extra night when we were delayed coming home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
