Having had pets my entire life, I have learned many aspects to animal caregiving and I guarantee to be a clear and communicative caregiver to your pets! I am very physically active, and enjoy walking dogs, playing, and spending time outside in all types of weather! If your pet needs a more mellow approach, I am also happy to provide calm and relaxing check-ins for shy or senior pets. I have had cats my entire life, and currently am taking care of my landlord's cats long term... so I am not afraid of different cat personalities and will gladly discuss your pet's individual needs for each visit. I guarantee to provide safe, loving, and attentive care to your pets and discuss all needs to provide peace of mind while you are away!

Safety is my main priority when taking care of your pets, to provide you peace of mind and make sure that your pets are well taken care of. I am happy to crate your dog if needed, do house checks for any safety concerns, and send updates regarding their food/water/exercise and wellbeing so you can rest assured they are taken care of!

Amanda took care of our home and cats for multiple weeks while we were out of country; she was attentive during our orientation and made sure to pay attention to each one. Useful since two of them don't get along. When we got home the litter was scooped and messes were swept. Incidental messes like hairballs were cleaned up and reported on during her daily write ups. We had a remote camera set up in the living room (we informed her about) and our check ins always showed us how she took care to ensure our local escape artist was shooed from the door with care and safety in mind. Would definitely hire again.

Amanda's love and care for all living things is unmatched by anyone else I know. Whatever an animal is going through, she feels too, and she won't stop caring for them until she's done everything she can to make it feel better. Amanda has experience caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, horses, goats, chickens, and insects. She is honest, caring, deeply empathetic, and a great communicator. There's no one else I'd rather have care for my pets.

Schedule
I work part-time, with a lot of flexibility. Though my schedule varies, I am glad to work odd hours and I promise to discuss any needs or specific things you may need during my visit time. I also guarantee committed and reliable times when scheduling is decided upon.
