Meet and Greets are **Required** for any and all bookings, in order to ensure safety and comfortability for myself and for your pet(s). Animals have always been my #1 passion, to the extent that I'm now pursuing a degree to work with them as a veterinarian. I work with all animals great and small, from companion animals to farm animals, and am always looking to make some new animal friends. I grew up with a plethora of my own animals of all different species, including both large and small dogs, as well as those with disabilities. My history working with feral and stray cats, or even just very opinionated cats, has given me a lot of experience and confidence in handling flighty, timid, or spicy cats. Let me know what your pet needs to make their experience comfortable and I'd be happy to oblige!

I pride myself on providing high quality pet care while you're away, keeping you stress-free knowing your pet is getting plenty of love. I will love your pet like they were my own and provide plenty of update photos during my stays. I am happy to clean out and fill food or water dishes during drop-ins. I can do topical, subcutaneous, or oral medications if needed, provided I have the proper instructions on where/how to administer the medication. I am happy to play with or keep pets company during drop-ins. I can pick up after any messes left by pets when I drop in, such as scooping out litterboxes or picking up dog poop from your yard if it is requested. I would love to know any specific details about what your pet is used to so that I can provide them the best care while I am with them.

Cain did a wonderful job with our dogs and cat! They clearly cared very much about making sure all of the animals were comfortable and well taken care of. “Why is Cain so great?” — my partner, after they sent us a bunch of adorable photos of our pets and mentioned they’d given our dog a bath (!!) after a trip to play in the river near our home. Cain really is a great sitter — this was the second time they stayed with our girls, and once again we were so impressed by the excellent care and attention that they gave to both pets, which went above and beyond our expectations (again, they gave our dog a bath!!). We also really appreciated their frequent, detailed, and often humorous communication throughout our trip, it was so great to see and hear all about what our pets had been up to :) I would absolutely recommend them (and already have to a couple of friends) — if you are reading this review, go ahead and hit that “Book” button, you will not be disappointed!
This was our second time leaving our kitties in Cain’s care and as always, they took excellent care of them! Cain is so wonderful and sent us so many photos and videos! It’s always hard to be away from them but Cain makes it so much easier! We cannot recommend Cain enough to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Cain took fantastic care of our cat, dog, and home! We usually have friends stay with our pets when we travel, but none were available at the last minute for a holiday weekend -- I admit I was a little nervous to have a new person come to stay (I've had some less-than-great experiences with Rover sitters), but I quickly realized I had no reason to worry. We returned to an immaculately clean house and dog (they gave her a bath, which we definitely did not expect, but super appreciate!), and two very happy and obviously well-cared-for pets. We so enjoyed and appreciated the many (so many!) photos and videos they sent of our girls! I miss both of my pets so much when I'm gone, but Cain's regular updates almost made me feel like I was there with them (there's nothing quite like a POV video of your dog getting a walk :) ). I also definitely want to shout out Cain's evident passion for and deep knowledge of animal behavior and care -- they made some really astute observations about our dog's personality, and very politely shared some grooming and care advice (with research to back it up!) that we are definitely going to put into practice. Overall, I can't recommend Cain enough as a sitter, and would never hesitate to re-book with them!

Schedule
If you live out of my usual service range, don't hesitate to still reach out if you're in the Corvallis area! I'm happy to provide service to most places in Corvallis. I am a full-time Animal Sciences major and pre-veterinary medicine student at OSU with my own cats at home, and spend most of my time either actively caring for and interacting with animals, or learning about the academic topics around them. I have limited time during the school year, but a more free schedule during the summer months (June-September) and holiday breaks (winter break, spring break, thanksgiving break, etc). At home, I spend most of my time caring for my cats and providing them enrichment tailored specifically to their personalities and needs.
