About: I've always had a huge heart for animals and taking care of things in general. I've taken care of my own animals since I was 8 or 9 years old and did 4H for 4 years. Family and friends always had me as there pet sitter because not only was I attentive and took good care of their animals, but I absolutely loved doing it! We share a fenced back yard that is pretty large. It is about a quarter of an acre. I have one cat and she is very friendly with other animals. I used to live on a farm with her so she is used to other furry friends.

About: We have both been around and owned dogs since we were kids. I worked in a vet clinic from the time I was 14 all throughout high school. I also worked with a dog groomer for a few summers. I am an Animal Behavior College certified Dog Trainer as well as a wildlife biologist. Let's just say I love animals!! We are cat lovers too and would be more than happy to care for them also! I will always communicate openly about my schedule during your visit so you are aware of any times I may have to be out of the house. I have a large fenced backyard and a 4-year-old Great Dane to keep your dog company! Thus, for stays in my home your dog must be dog-friendly, non-aggressive, and not afraid of large breeds. I also have four cats. I do have a doggie gate that keeps the cats separated, but one of them can jump the gate as she likes to sit on top of the kitchen cupboards and observe. Aaron and I have two sons, ages 7 and 10. They both have been around dogs their entire lives and are very used to respecting their space and letting dogs warm up to them. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
