“Karly came to my house once a day for 4 days to feed my 2 cats, the fish in my aquarium, my 14 hens and one wild hen turkey who recently moved in with the chickens. I also asked if she’d collect eggs. She had never fed chickens so I gave her directions for feeding. And collecting eggs. Oh - and she cleaned the cat box. So the cats hid each day she was here. Never saw them once. Seems like everything went smoothly. I think as a Rover pet sitter she went above and beyond the call of duty. I am very thankful she was here taking care of my critters. About: I have been dogsitting and dog walking for over 10 years, with experience from puppies, to mature senior dogs. My dog recently passed away, at the ripe old age of 12, so I am accustomed to accommodating elderly dog's needs. I love to run and hike, and having a dog come along is the best part of those activities! I am recent graduate with my MSW from Boise State and I am spending my summer in Central Oregon as I transition into a career job! I will be working part time (occasionally full time) at the Bend Parks and Rec summer camp department, and would love to take your dog on outdoor adventures with me! We received several videos a day, thorough information about how our kitty was doing and even helped us learn some new behaviors and interests our kitty was exhibiting. Sometimes I thought my wife was spending too much time messaging with Christy and not focusing on the trip (lol!), but Christy was more than generous with her time and was very patient throughout. About: We love animals! We have a big yard, but we’re usually home with our pets. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them, while still being adaptable to less friendly dogs who want space. I am generally home during the day, and extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. The pets we watch at home often feel like a part of our family! We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and a quiet neighborhood for walks. Our senior dog isn’t high energy, and easy to get along with.

Sorry, but I don't accept aggressive breeds (Pit bulls, Rottweilers or any dogs over 75lbs.) I love to make animals happy and contented. I believe in positive care and love to them. Their comfort while their parents are away is my priority. My property is fully fenced large lot. I am with them the entire time outside. I have some experience training dogs. I taught commands by voice and hand signals successfully. We can do meet and greets. I am very responsible and would do everything possible to make sure your pet is safe and happy while you are away. With that said, they are still kids. So for stays in our home, your dog will have to be good with other dogs, young kids, and cats. For stays in your home, your dog ideally will be okay with kids but my kids don't always need to come with depending on the dates of the stay.

However Alex was kind enough to come again that very evening while we were home to spend some time with him so that he could get to know her better. And even though he was nervous again the next time she came, she spent time with him, giving him treats, and finally got him to warm up enough so they could take a walk. My dog has a lot of health problems so I know a bit when it comes to a sensitive dogs or ones that needs things done a certain way because of a condition. It really depends on the day, but mostly I could so daily or weekly. I’m dealing with some health stuff and my dog has too. So I’m currently working on those but have plenty of time most days to do something like this. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, when I was in college one house I did it so he was constantly on a leash outside, another house I was in had fences but had to patch them up and make sure he couldn’t get out. I also created my dog at night he loves his crate. During the day when he is alone he has most of the house free to roam, but I will put down potty pads just in case. If clients are okay with there dog out or crated I’m for both.
About: I’ve had pets and family pets I’m always ready and willing to give them what they need. My baby loves animals too. It will be fun! I feel like they are the same as humans. I made a lil human! So I can manage my son loves dogs too. Just happy to get out more. I don’t have any pets anymore mine got old. I make sure they are feed and tuckered out before bed. Getting as much attention as they need.

She was so kind and supportive and handling this as well as providing a lot of comfort and companionship for him while we were away.
