Ellie Mae love Lyndsie, we did, too! She had a great secure backyard, and Ellie Mae loved having Murphy, her Australian Shepherd to play with.

About: We love animals! We have a big yard, but we’re usually home with our pets. Our kids (5 & 9) love to play with and help care for them, while still being adaptable to less friendly dogs who want space. I am generally home during the day, and extremely flexible to accommodate various schedules for drop-in visits or in-home care. The pets we watch at home often feel like a part of our family! We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run, and a quiet neighborhood for walks. Our senior dog isn’t high energy, and easy to get along with.

Stanley thought he was in heaven - two cute pup pals to play with, a welcoming home and beautiful yard, and a great 2 1/2 mile walk besides! He was happily exhausted when he came home. Huge thanks to Eric and the sweet Goldens who provided such a happy day for our boy!

Jeff & Roxanne took the best care of our pup! They were kind, excellent communicators & flexible as our plans evolved over the weekend. Our pup came home happy and tired. This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous to leave our pup for the first time but they are what makes Rover a wonderful resource. Don’t hesitate to book with Jeff & Roxanne- they’re the best!

Claudia provides the most loving and fun daycare experience! She was super communicative throughout the day, took my 9-month-old Newfy mix on the most appropriate adventure for him, and stayed attuned to his needs throughout his stay. I couldn't recommend her more.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who truly adores both cats and dogs. Whether it’s energetic walks, belly rubs, or quiet lap time, I meet each pet right where they are. I understand that every animal has their own personality and routine, so I prioritize trust, patience, and lots of affection. I am available all days of the week between the hours of 8am -10pm I can be flexible. I can also work with your schedule as needed. I have a decently sized back yard which is fenced. I have two dogs of my own who are very well socialized.I can provide walks several times a day.

We booked Julie last minute to watch Daisy while we took our toddler out on a visit to Bend. I’m so glad we found her and that she was available! She did an incredible job watching our baby girl. She took Daisy on walks and sent lots of updates and pictures, which helped set my mind at ease. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live near us in Northern California because I’d love to book her again. Can’t recommend her enough!

About: Hey I’m Viki, My husband and I have been carrying for dogs through Rover for the past six years. We’re also the go-to people for our friends and family whenever they need someone to watch their pups. Growing up with dogs and cats, we’ve always had animals as part of our family, and we love providing a safe and loving environment for them. We have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments and we will treat your pup like one of our own. We’re passionate about creating a stress-free, comfortable environment where your pup can feel relaxed and happy, just like they would at home. I work from home, so there will always be someone around to provide your dog with plenty of attention and regular potty breaks throughout the day. We’re usually pretty flexible with pick ups and drop offs and are happy to work around your schedule. We live on a five acre farm near Pine Nursery Park. Our home features a spacious, 1/3 acre, fenced-in backyard with plenty of shade where your dog can enjoy some fun outdoor time. We’re also experienced with crating, so if your dog is crate-trained or you prefer them to be crated at times, we’re more than happy to accommodate. Your dog will always have a safe, comfortable space and we make sure to provide plenty of attention and playtime throughout the day.

I am retired and your pet will have all my attention. I am active and enjoy giving a dog walks in the area as well as playing games in a fenced yard. I have a fenced yard. Luna Park is close by for nice walks. My senior dog has passed, so your dog will have all my attention.

About: I have experienced many many years of raising our Berners. From puppy-hood to senior care. Trained them to hike (off leash), paddleboard and worked as a school therapy dog. Needless to say, my dog-ownership resume comes with a long list of experiences. I am retired from 30 years in the aviation industry, as a flight attendant. Raising a family, always a dog or two included. I currently work part-time, while enjoying the natural wonders of the Cascade mountains. Caring for others pet family members easily fits into my daily life. We live in a lovely small town, and a nice development. Taking walks on nature trails, dipping our paws in the river or creek, while taking in the views of the Cascade mountains. I own a sprinter van, adventures with my dogs (and yours) clearly is comfortable for all.

Blake was an absolute lifesaver! We needed a last-minute booking, and he was incredibly helpful and responsive right from the start. To make things even better, when we hit a hiccup in our day and had to adjust our pickup time, Blake was incredibly flexible and understanding. It completely took the stress out of our situation. We knew our pup was in great hands, and we couldn’t recommend Blake enough if you’re looking for a reliable, accommodating, and top-tier sitter in Bend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of September 2026, there are 220 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Geneva. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Geneva commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 220 sitters in Geneva, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
