“They are great to have watch Riley. I boarded her with them when I work and go on trips. They are so good with Riley and when we get to their house Riley gets excited and runs into their house. I will always use Julie and Colin when I need someone to take care of Riley.”

“Carlay is a wonderful pet sitter! She was easy to communicate with and truly went above and beyond to provide the best possible care for our cavapoochon puppy, Lily. Carlay even arranged for us to visit with her and her pup, Willa, several days before our scheduled service so we could make sure Lily and Willa would be comfortable and get along well. Willa is an incredibly sweet and patient dog, and Lily had the best time playing with her! And Carlay herself was not only kind, flexible, patient, and accommodating, but she also provided enrichment, socialization, and excellent overall care. Lily does have significant separation anxiety, so we especially appreciated all the photos Carlay sent of a very happy and active Lily. When we picked Lily up, she was clearly very comfortable and extremely happy. We would absolutely recommend Carlay to anyone, and we will definitely hire her again the next time we need pet sitting services in Bend, Oregon!”

“Dexter had a wonderful first visit with Lisa and Dave. He was well cared for and the environment was calm and relaxed, which is just what Dexter likes! Dexter is 13 needs a fair amount of care and I was worried about leaving him in a new space. Lisa and Dave did an amazing job of keeping me updated on how Dexter was doing throughout the day, letting me know what Dexter was up to and following the guidelines I had shared with them. This gave me the confidence of know that Dexter was in safe hands. Lisa and Dave are not only attentive but also respectful of Dexter’s needs. They took the time to get to know him and his communication style, kept their own dogs on leashes while we did a meet and greet and asked smart questions if anything was unclear. Their dogs, Fezzi and Scout are a delight. Like Lisa and Dave, they are kind, respectful and easy to get along with. Dexter doesn’t always like other dogs and he got along with theirs. I am so grateful to have found Lisa and Dave and will definitely be bringing Dexter there again!”

“Scott’s fantastic. He’s so nice, friendly & welcoming. Communication was great and I actually got tons of pictures and videos without ever needing to ask. I truly felt like my dog was being cared for and paid attention to. Could not recommend him enough, seriously.”

About: 18-year dog mom in Bend, Oregon with hands-on experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors needing extra patience, mobility support, and medications. Although my own sweet pup recently passed away, caring for animals continues to mean so much to me, and I truly value being able to provide loving, attentive care through Rover. I’m patient, calm, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s routine, comfort, and unique personality, with experience creating safe, supportive environments where dogs can feel at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home in Bend, Oregon. I’m available for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day In my Bend home, pets enjoy a secure fenced yard, supervised playtime, and a calm environment with my gentle senior dog and cat for friendly companionship. I follow each pet’s routine closely. In clients’ homes, I maintain familiar schedules, feeding, walks, medications, and lots of attentive care.
“Tori was awesome! She had a great set up and was warm and accommodating to my slow to warm puppy. Next time we are in Bend, we will absolutely have her watch our sweet pup again!”

About: I have cared for many animals. I have 3 children and we always had a family pet. They are now grown and have pets of their own. I have been in a bind before and had to use Rover for my own animal, and it was a lifesaver. I am hoping I can help you out too! I am currently a housewife with open availability! Its just me and my little shih tzu. Plenty of time for walks and play while your away! We live in a gated community near Mountain View, which is perfect for walks as well as having a fenced yard for play time. I do allow my dog on my bed, and try and keep him off the couch, but doesn't always work. Lol

About: Working remotely gives me the flexibility to do what I love, spend time with animals. I share my home with two cats, Miso and Gnocchi, and my rescue dog Caesar, whom I have spent the last two years training extensively in partnership with a local trainer using fear free tools. I grew up with cats, and have fostered dogs through local rescues. That experience has made me comfortable with animals of all temperaments, backgrounds, and needs. When your pet is with me, they are in caring, experienced hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. I work remotely with designated meeting blocks, which means I have the flexibility to plan drop-ins and walks around my schedule with ease. My mornings tend to be busiest, so afternoons are largely free. I can make time throughout the day when needed. I love being outdoors, so walks are never a chore. Whether your pup needs a quick stroll or a longer adventure, I am happy to go at whatever pace and distance they enjoy. The safety and comfort of every pet in my home is my top priority. Because I have two cats, any dog coming into my home must be cat-tested beforehand. This ensures a stress-free environment for everyone. I take introductions seriously and never rush the process. My own dog Caesar is a rescue, and we have worked through a lot together over the past two years. That experience has made me confident and adaptable. I know how to read an animal's comfort level and adjust accordingly, whether that means giving them space, a slower introduction, or extra reassurance. Every pet is different, and I am happy to work at whatever pace feels right for yours. I am also able to crate pups and take them outside with ease when needed.
“Sarah and Ben were awesome sitters for our energetic boxer. We were running late for both drop off and pick up and they we understanding and more accommodating than they needed to be. Their own dogs are very friendly and made for a great play date. We will definitely be looking to use them again.”

“Jeff & Roxanne took the best care of our pup! They were kind, excellent communicators & flexible as our plans evolved over the weekend. Our pup came home happy and tired. This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous to leave our pup for the first time but they are what makes Rover a wonderful resource. Don’t hesitate to book with Jeff & Roxanne- they’re the best!”

About: I grew up around all types of animals on my grandparent’s 100 acre farm, and I have spent recent years taking care of two very loved pups and a big family. We no longer have dogs, but I would love to be there for your fur babies to make them feel loved, safe, and doted on while you are away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three kids 👧🏻👧🏼👦🏼 (ages 4, 6, and 7), so please only reach out if your dog is good with kids. I also have a super flexible schedule to prioritize companionship, bathroom breaks, walks, play, feeding, and any concerns you might have. I only take one dog (or pair) at a time to make sure I give the best care possible and spoil them with love! 💗 We have a fenced yard and live near parks and river hiking trails. I love giving lots of extra attention and gentle pets! Let me know what needs your pet may have, and I will do my best to achieve them! I also enjoy setting up meet and greets to make sure that I am the perfect pet parent for your dog and to begin to create that loving, safe connection. It can be difficult to leave your pup, so I will take pictures and keep you updated. I will treat and love your pup as if it were my own! I am a stay at home mom, so I am able to be there for your dog and around for walks, bathroom breaks and couch cuddles. I leave the house for a few hours here and there but not all day. I am completely flexible to work with your schedule. I have a fenced yard. I also have kids 3-7 years old who are gentle with pets. Your dog can run free in our home and can also be kenneled when we go out. We live in a neighborhood that is great for walks, and close to parks. There are lots of kids and green spaces.
“Our dogs spent a fun afternoon with Irene and her adorable and friendly dog. They were quite beat when we picked them up from all the outside play, it was a nice warm day so hose play was also provided and well received by our huskies.”

“Danya was amazing. First of all, she was able to accommodate a last minute same day daycare. She sent updates and pics throughout my pups stay. He's extremely mopey and has refused to engage in the past when we've had daycare, but danya was able to coax him out into the fresh air. She's basically a miracle worker. Toast was happy, healthy, and clearly we left him in great hands. If I could leave more stars I would!!!”

About: Hello Pet Parents! My name is Lily and you will normally find me enjoying all that beautiful Bend has to offer. I recently returned to Rover after a break due to my previous work schedule. I now work from home full time, which allows me to be present, attentive, and consistent in the care I provide throughout the day. I offer in my home boarding, as well as drop in visits and walks, with a focus on providing a calm, safe, and attentive environment. Pets staying with me are treated as part of the household, not just visitors. I have one small senior dog who is deaf, incredibly gentle, and very friendly with other animals. My home is intentionally quiet and low stress, which is especially ideal for seniors, medical needs and shy pets who benefit from a more relaxed setting. For drop in visits and walks, you can expect reliable scheduling, thoughtful care, and consistent updates with photos so you always feel informed and at ease. I am very comfortable managing medical and specialized care needs, including injections, medications, and detailed feeding routines. I understand how important accuracy and trust are in these situations! With over 20 years of hands on experience, my background includes growing up on a multi animal hobby farm, working in a boarding kennel, and extensive involvement in 4H, Pony Club, and horse showmanship. I routinely care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, horses, exotics, and livestock. I would love to connect and learn more about your care needs! I work from home and am able to customize my schedule. I am available for walks from 8am to 4pm and drop in visits from 8am to 9pm. In home boarding clients can expect around the clock care tailored to your pets individual needs & desires. My home is very calm and is ideal for seniors, pets who have medical needs or are a bit shy. The household is myself, my partner and our small deaf senior dog who is very friendly and gentle towards other animals & people. She also doesn’t bark! We live in a top floor corner apartment with a large escape proof balcony on the Westside. We have a small dog park right next door and 3 parks within a 10 minute walk. My family also owns a large farm with a fenced pond & I would be happy to take the water lovers out there for a swim session!
“Lisa and Max were amazing! We came into Bend to camp and catch a couple concerts at the Amphitheater. Lisa and Max made accommodations for our pup to come over and hang during the concerts and she had a great time! Very communicative, responsive, and overall, just excellent dog people! Would definitely recommend them for your Rover needs!”

“We so appreciate Melissa watching over our doggos!!! She was wonderful! Melissa was responsive to messages and reached out to us to double check plans throughout the week. When we dropped the dogs off she was sweet and calm with our rowdy pups! She sent pictures and was even willing to stay up late for a pick up!!! Thanks again Melissa!!!! Would definitely book again if in the area!”
Tumalo dog parents share their Rover experiences
I was visiting Oregon from out of state and was anxious on finding a dog sitter for Speckles. Claudia was amazing and the best sitter Speckles has ever had. He had an adventure with her and came back very happy. She was responsive, communicated frequently, and sent many pictures and videos to put all my worries at ease. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Claudia! 😊
