About: I have taken care of plenty of pets including great danes, chihuahuas, cats, geckos, etc. I am rated 5 stars on trusted house sitters and am very comfortable with overnight housesitting stays as well. I am photography business owner with my own hours, so my schedule will be open 7 days a week to care for your pet and keep them company. I'm an early riser and can be available any time of day you need me. I am able to adapt to requests you may have for caring for your animal in your home. I will respect your space and can keep a close eye on your pet. I am a very active and outdoorsy person and would love to take your pet outside on my daily walks if they'd enjoy it. About: I am a recent graduate of Carleton College with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. In the fall, I will be starting a PhD in Cancer Biology at UW-Madison. However, despite the scientific background, I worked as an Equine Veterinary Assistant for a year in college, and spent a summer gaining extensive exotic animal care experience from a full time Zookeeping position. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to farm animals and exotics. With experience in the veterinary setting, I am particularly attentive to an animals’ health/behavior. I am unavailable between Thursday, July 9th and Tuesday, July 21st as I am traveling, but I am completely free otherwise for walks, doggy daycare, and drop-in visits. I have an 13 year old family dog currently living at home with my family who is friendly and curious. He is kennel trained and can be kept separated from any pets who are not comfortable with other animals.

“Dexter had a wonderful first visit with Lisa and Dave. He was well cared for and the environment was calm and relaxed, which is just what Dexter likes! Dexter is 13 needs a fair amount of care and I was worried about leaving him in a new space. Lisa and Dave did an amazing job of keeping me updated on how Dexter was doing throughout the day, letting me know what Dexter was up to and following the guidelines I had shared with them. This gave me the confidence of know that Dexter was in safe hands. Lisa and Dave are not only attentive but also respectful of Dexter’s needs. They took the time to get to know him and his communication style, kept their own dogs on leashes while we did a meet and greet and asked smart questions if anything was unclear. Their dogs, Fezzi and Scout are a delight. Like Lisa and Dave, they are kind, respectful and easy to get along with. Dexter doesn’t always like other dogs and he got along with theirs. I am so grateful to have found Lisa and Dave and will definitely be bringing Dexter there again!”
