“Veronica took my dog, Maci, last minute and was very flexible with me. She took her on a long walk and kept me updated throughout the day with photos and videos. I would let her watch Maci any day and would definitely recommend her to others.”

“Tori was fantastic. Super reliable, flexible and my dogs loved her. Which is saying a lot for my one little dog, Rudy - who is very shy and takes awhile to warm up to people.”

About: Professional, Reliable, Responsible. Brand new to town and SO excited to meet your pup! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s raised six puppies over the years, so I’ve pretty much seen it all—from zoomies to snuggle bombs. I live with my goofy, friendly 4-year-old Goldendoodle who’s an expert at reading the room: ready to play for hours or totally chill for dogs who prefer to coexist peacefully. I have a fully fenced yard for zooming, sniffing, and sunbathing, and I’m sensitive to different dog personality types, so your dog gets plenty of attention, fun, and snuggles. I’m responsible, active, and genuinely love having dogs around. I have 10 years of behavioral therapy training and rely on positive reinforcement only, which makes even high-energy or sensitive pups feel safe and understood. Every dog is different, and your pup will get their own tailored experience with us. Need big walks? Got it. Endless fetch? Absolutely. Quiet time to relax? I'm on it. Your dog sets the vibe. I work from home as a therapist, so your pup gets all-day company and lots of loving eyes on them. And with tons of cozy corners and comfy spaces in the house, they’ll have no trouble finding “their spot.” I truly adore dogs—your furry friend will feel like part of the family the moment they trot through the door. I know that our pets are part of the family and I will treat them as such. I Work-From-Home and am available any day of the week. I typically do a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening with lots of snuggles and interaction in between. I am home full-time and dedicate my time, love, and attention to the dogs in my care. I can adjust to your dogs needs, whatever they may be. In my home, they will have the option to sleep in the bed with us, on the many other beds or couches in the house, or your crate if you so choose! My dog has a specific eating area and I typically make water zones shared but eating bowls separate. I give breaks to the back yard often for bathroom and play. If you prefer them to be walked , fed or “watered” separately we can arrange for that, just let me know. Otherwise I can walk them when we walk our dog for a little pack walk. Your dog’s well-being and safety are always my priority.
About: I’ve been caring for other people’s dogs for over 10 years, and dogs have truly always been part of my life. I have three dogs of my own and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you fully trust. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs who need a little extra care, including giving medications, insulin, and providing gentle, patient support. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely want what’s best for every dog in my care. I live alone in a fully pet-friendly home that’s set up with dogs in mind, so your pup will have a safe, comfortable place to relax. I also love taking dogs on walks to fun areas so they can explore new environments, get great exercise, and enjoy new smells. My goal is for your dog to feel loved, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m available for drop-ins and walks Wednesday through Sunday until 1:30 pm, and I have full availability on Mondays and Tuesdays. I also offer boarding and in-home care at my home with flexible availability, so your pet will always have consistent care, attention, and a comfortable place to stay. I have a fully fenced yard and a one-story home that’s set up with dogs in mind, making it safe and easy for pups of all ages and mobility levels. I have three very friendly dogs of my own. One is a senior who mostly does his own thing, so there’s a calm, relaxed energy in the home. I’m always happy to walk your dogs individually and without my dogs, so they get focused attention, a pace that suits them, and a stress-free experience. My goal is to create a comfortable, safe, and loving environment where your dog feels right at home.
“Brian and Elyse are exceptional sitters. They were exceptional in communication, care and love of our dog. It was his first time being cared for by others and they were so attentive to his worries and fell in love with them in the process. I cant recommend them enough. Good humans.”

About: My parents bred Golden Retrievers when I was a young child, and I have loved and had dogs since I was born. Barb, a 120lb Rottweiler/Mastiff, is our current companion after losing Richard, our 165lb St. Bernard. Now that my husband and I are empty-nesters, and now that I am retired (for the time being) I'm excited to take care of other dogs. I'm skilled at dog training and love dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds and demeanors. Walking/hiking is one of my favorite past times. I'm excited for the opportunity to take care of your pooch! I am currently retired and have an extremely flexible schedule when I am not traveling. When I am in the Bend area I should be able to help care for your dog most days/times. I have two fully fenced back yards. Barb (my dog) loves all dogs, and it is just Barb, my husband, and myself living in our home right now. I'm happy to accommodate the needs of your dog by keeping them at our house, going to your home, and/or taking them for a walk/hike/potty break. I also enjoy training puppies.
“Casey was a consummate professional and I would utilize her services again! She sent plenty of photos and gave my boy plenty of opportunity to play. She even accommodated a last minute schedule change!”

“Jeff & Roxanne took the best care of our pup! They were kind, excellent communicators & flexible as our plans evolved over the weekend. Our pup came home happy and tired. This was our first time using Rover and we were a bit nervous to leave our pup for the first time but they are what makes Rover a wonderful resource. Don’t hesitate to book with Jeff & Roxanne- they’re the best!”

“Annemarie was great with my puppy! Mapache and her dog Riley got along great! Puppies can be a handful and definitely require a lot of patience and love, Mapache definitely gets a lot of both with Annemarie and Riley!”

About: I’ve had pets all of my life and love dog/cat sitting! Animals tend to feel very relaxed and happy with me even when they tend to be nervous that their owners are on a trip or gone for the night. At the moment i am a part time sales associate at the front desk of a health facility. On my time off i love being around animals and outside! I feed them on time due to their schedule, take them for walks and the park if asked. Frequent potty breaks and lots of care + treats if allowed! :)
About: With 15 years of experience caring for animals, I bring a genuine love to every pet I care for. Having owned animals myself, I understand their unique needs and personalities, and I treat each one with the same respect and attention I give my own pets. My extensive experience has taught me how to provide both the physical and emotional care animals require, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I am committed, responsible, and truly passionate about enhancing the well-being of every pet I look after, and I truly understand the bond between humans and their furry companions. As a remote employee, I have the flexibility to care for my clients' pets throughout the week—whether it's midday walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays. My schedule allows me to provide consistent, attentive care and quick communication, making me a reliable partner for pet parents with busy lives. I ensure that pets receive the love, attention, and comfort they need while their owners are away. By providing extra affection and creating a safe, nurturing environment, I help pets feel secure and loved. Having been a pet owner myself, I truly understand the deep bond between an animal and its caregiver. My animals are an integral part of my life, so I approach every pet with the same care and dedication, prioritizing their emotional and physical well-being. Whether in my home or a client’s, I customize care to meet each pet's unique needs, offering them a sense of familiarity and love.
“Alana was awesome, we needed a last-minute sitter and she responded so quickly! Our nervous dog easily warmed up to her in and had a great afternoon. We would hire Alana again in a heartbeat.”
“Nicole and Caitlin were life savers when I was in town to do some snowboarding. They were able to take my pup on last second notice and Maverick seemed to have an incredible time with them. They were very communicative, flexible, sent pics/videos of Mav in dog parks, hikes and their backyard running around and having fun. They even bathed him once or twice during the 4 days my pup was there when he got too dirty playing in the snow. Would absolutely use them again and plan to next time I'm in Bend and need some daycare for my pup.”

“Carley was the perfect choice for our high-energy puppy, Isla! She was more than happy to tire her out on a long walk and was really flexible with our timeline, which we appreciated. Super friendly, responsive, and accommodating - we highly recommend her for your sitting needs. Thanks Carley!”

“Scott’s fantastic. He’s so nice, friendly & welcoming. Communication was great and I actually got tons of pictures and videos without ever needing to ask. I truly felt like my dog was being cared for and paid attention to. Could not recommend him enough, seriously.”

“Zoe is fantastic on all counts and my Odin loved being there! Zoe is loving with the pets, takes them on walks and communicates thru the day with pics, etc! Will definitely use Zoe again if the need arises!”
Tumalo dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was extremely accommodating, especially since we requested her services the day before. Her property is perfect for watching dogs. She was friendly and reliable. She even sent photos of the dogs during their stay. This was our first experience with Rover, and it didn’t disappoint. Jessica was great!!!

I was visiting Oregon from out of state and was anxious on finding a dog sitter for Speckles. Claudia was amazing and the best sitter Speckles has ever had. He had an adventure with her and came back very happy. She was responsive, communicated frequently, and sent many pictures and videos to put all my worries at ease. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Claudia! 😊
