“We booked Julie last minute to watch Daisy while we took our toddler out on a visit to Bend. I’m so glad we found her and that she was available! She did an incredible job watching our baby girl. She took Daisy on walks and sent lots of updates and pictures, which helped set my mind at ease. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live near us in Northern California because I’d love to book her again. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Tiffany is amazing! She took great care of our two puppies. They had a fun time playing with her sweet dog Barbara too. She was also a great communicator. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up around all types of animals on my grandparent’s 100 acre farm, and I have spent recent years taking care of two very loved pups and a big family. We no longer have dogs, but I would love to be there for your fur babies to make them feel loved, safe, and doted on while you are away! I’m a stay-at-home mom of three kids 👧🏻👧🏼👦🏼 (ages 4, 6, and 7), so please only reach out if your dog is good with kids. I also have a super flexible schedule to prioritize companionship, bathroom breaks, walks, play, feeding, and any concerns you might have. I always make sure I give the best care possible and spoil your pup with love! 💗 We have a fenced yard and live near parks and river hiking trails. I love giving lots of extra attention and gentle pets! Let me know what needs your pet may have, and I will do my best to achieve them! I also enjoy setting up meet and greets to make sure that I am the perfect pet parent for your dog and to begin to create that loving, safe connection. It can be difficult to leave your pup, so I will take pictures and keep you updated. I will treat and love your pup as if it were my own! I am a stay at home mom, so I am able to be there for your dog and around for walks, bathroom breaks and couch cuddles. I leave the house for a few hours here and there but not all day. I am completely flexible to work with your schedule. I have a fenced yard. I also have kids 3-7 years old who are gentle with pets. Your dog can run free in our home and can also be kenneled when we go out. We live in a neighborhood that is great for walks, and close to parks. There are lots of kids and green spaces.
“Colin took great care of our two dogs for the full day so we could go adventure a bit in Bend without worrying about our dogs. Appreciated the pictures sent as an update. Would definitely use again!”

“Nicole and her family were amazing. We were traveling to Bend for the long weekend and left our dog with Nicole for the one day we were visiting a National park. They took great care of our dog and sent us photos regularly of all the fun they had. I highly recommend trusting Nicole and her family with your pup if you are in Bend, they were awesome!”

“Sarah and Ben were awesome sitters for our energetic boxer. We were running late for both drop off and pick up and they we understanding and more accommodating than they needed to be. Their own dogs are very friendly and made for a great play date. We will definitely be looking to use them again.”

“Took such great care of my doggo! Veronica took him for a hike to help tire him out. Also let my doggo play with theirs. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Would stay with them again whenever I’m back in bend!”

“Lisa and Max were amazing! We came into Bend to camp and catch a couple concerts at the Amphitheater. Lisa and Max made accommodations for our pup to come over and hang during the concerts and she had a great time! Very communicative, responsive, and overall, just excellent dog people! Would definitely recommend them for your Rover needs!”

“Alana was awesome, we needed a last-minute sitter and she responded so quickly! Our nervous dog easily warmed up to her in and had a great afternoon. We would hire Alana again in a heartbeat.”
About: Hi! I'm Naomi, a lifelong animal lover based in Bend, Oregon. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were family. I share my home with two dogs and a cat, so I'm comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your dog loves long walks and adventures or prefers a slower pace and plenty of cuddles, I'm happy to tailor my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. I offer dependable, attentive care with regular photo updates, so you'll always know how your pets are doing while you're away. I'm experienced with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, reinforcing routines, and giving pets the patience and affection they deserve. My goal is simple: to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets. I treat every animal in my care like one of my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, playtime, and companionship. * Experienced caring for both dogs and cats * Comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and multiple-pet households * Reliable, responsible, and communicative * Flexible scheduling * Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment * Regular photo and message updates * Calm, patient approach that helps pets feel at home I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Let's schedule a meet-and-greet so we can make sure it's the perfect fit! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet is staying overnight, stopping by for a visit, or joining me for a walk, they'll receive consistent care, exercise, and lots of affection. I plan my day around the pets in my care, making sure they have regular potty breaks, meals on their normal schedule, playtime, walks, and time to relax. I believe keeping pets on their usual routine helps them feel comfortable and reduces stress while you're away. When your pet stays with me, they'll be treated like part of the family. I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where they can feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. I take the time to learn each pet's routine—including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any medications or special instructions. Keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps them settle in and feel at home. My home features a fully fenced backyard, giving dogs a secure place to run, play, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors under my supervision. In addition to backyard playtime, each day includes walks, enrichment activities, and plenty of one-on-one attention. Safety is always my top priority. Pets are never left outside unattended, I closely supervise all interactions, and I maintain a clean, pet-friendly home where they can relax and feel at ease.

“Jamie was very communicative and was wonderful with Maggie. Her pups played so well with my dog, and I loved receiving the frequent pictures and videos. Would definitely send Maggie back to Jamie again!”

About: 18-year dog mom in Bend, Oregon with hands-on experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors needing extra patience, mobility support, and medications. Although my own sweet pup recently passed away, caring for animals continues to mean so much to me, and I truly value being able to provide loving, attentive care through Rover. I’m patient, calm, reliable, and attentive to each dog’s routine, comfort, and unique personality, with experience creating safe, supportive environments where dogs can feel at home. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home in Bend, Oregon. I’m available for regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day In my Bend home, pets enjoy a secure fenced yard, supervised playtime, and a calm environment with my gentle senior dog and cat for friendly companionship. “Meredith is a fantastic dog sitter. Not only was she quick to respond, she also gave me regular updates on my dog during his time with her that reassured me he was doing well. Our dog came home happy and worn out from playing all day.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and we instantly felt at ease leaving our pup with Lauren. June had a great time and came back to us tuckered out from a day of playing with Lauren's pups. Lauren sent us numerous updates throughout the day, so we were never left wondering how June was getting along. I would highly recommend Lauren as someone to feel safe leaving your pet with!”

“Our dog Ruby loved Sonja! She came home tired and happy everyday and was excited for drop-off each morning. I really appreciate how flexible Sonja was with my work schedule and last minute changes to my work trip. I will absolutely request Sonja again for my puppy!”

About: I have two pets of my own, a 6-year-old tabie cat named Chip and a 3-year-old Golden Doodle named Waffles. I've had them both since babies so I'm very familiar with the different stages of growth. We're an active family so I prioritize lots of potty and play breaks during the day while I work from home. We have lots of toys to stay entertained, as well as cozy couches to take naps on. I've cat/dog sat many times for friends and neighbors and have grown passionate about caring for all fur babies and making sure they feel comfortable and happy while their parents are away and most importantly understand the importance of daily photo updates throughout the day. I work from home, so potty breaks for dogs are every 2 hours. As well as making sure they're comfortable throughout the day with playtime and feeding schedules. I have a pet-friendly apartment, I allow pets on furniture and have toys available to play with at all times but if your pet doesn't do well with toys lying around I would be more than happy to remove them if necessary.

Sonja did an amazing job with my pup! My dog can be incredibly anxious when I’m not around, but he warmed up immediately to Sonja and had no issues hanging out at her place. She sent some adorable photos and kept me updated on his behavior. All the gold stars! Will absolutely work with her again :)

Jessica took amazing care of my two pups! Both of my dogs are shy and nervous and they came back happy and well cared for. Jessica was very responsive and easy to work with when I needed to update my booking at the last minute. Next time we are in town we will for sure use Jessica again.

Jeanie and Brett are the BEST! They clearly love dogs and go above and beyond to make sure they adjust comfortably to the dog haven that is their backyard! (Tons of space, other friendly pups and a creek water feature🤩) Our dog has difficulty with separation at times, but they were tuned into how she was doing and gave her special time, space and treats to help her connect. Can’t recommend them more highly! We were able to float the river confident she was in the best of hands ❤️ Thank you, Jeanie and Brett!!!

Jamie was amazing! She was able to watch me pup the entire evening / night while I was at a concert at Hayden Homes. She was incredibly receptive and caring for my pup and any potential needs of hers. I would absolutely rebook the next time I am in Bend. Strongly recommend her :)

Gig was great! I contacted her as a new client on a rather short notice to watch my dog while I worked and she was very accommodating! She did a great job at making sure Pache felt welcome and happy in her home! Mapache does great with other dogs and does well with cats but can be skeptical of new cats 😂 Gigi did a great job at making sure everyone got a proper introduction and got along well together!

Fantastic experience. Seriously. I can’t emphasis enough how much we appreciate the care that was offered for our babies in this home! Both our dogs had a pep in their step that I haven’t seen in a long while when we picked them up. Will 100% book again knowing that our babies will have the best care offered!!! Thank you so much for making this happen!!!! ❤️

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
