Your Pet’s Home Away From Home ❤️

Hello Pet Parents! My name is Lily, and you’ll usually find me enjoying everything beautiful Bend has to offer, preferably with an animal by my side! I recently returned to Rover after taking a break due to my previous work schedule. I now work from home full time, which means I’m able to be present, attentive, and consistent throughout the day. I truly enjoy being able to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. I have over 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, starting with growing up on a farm and working in a boarding kennel, along with years of 4H, Pony Club, and competing on the national horse eventing circuit. I’m comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, horses, exotics, and livestock. I’m also very comfortable with medical and specialized care, including medications, injections, bladder expression, mobility support, PEMF therapy, and detailed feeding routines. I understand that when your pet needs extra care, you’re trusting someone with a very important member of your family. I take that responsibility seriously and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and individual routine. Whether your pet needs a little extra attention, lots of playtime, a quiet companion, or more specialized care, I’m happy to meet them exactly where they are. I’d love to get to know you and your pets!

Lily was great! She accepted our request super last minute and was so accommodating. We really appreciate how sweet she was, our pup seemed to really enjoy his time with her. Thanks so much Lily!

Lily took amazing care of my senior pup! She sent lots of updates w photos and I was able to have total peace of mind being away with him in her care. She also kept up with his many medications and I could tell picking him up that he was well taken care of. Definitely recommend! Thanks Lily!

Lily was great! We have a challenging little fella and he was in great spirits when we got home. Also, Lily washed the sheets and remade the bed before we got home. She was constantly in contact during the whole trip with texts and photos. Thanks Lily!

Lily was excellent pet sitter. She cared for Bailey and even cleaned our house. She asked if we needed anything at the store too! We loved Lily and so did Bailey!

Schedule

Availability & Care You can expect flexible, attentive care tailored to your pet’s individual needs, personality, and normal routine. Working from home gives me the ability to be present throughout the day and accommodate everything from regular walks and playtime to midday meals, medications, naps, and plenty of companionship. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual schedule rather than expecting them to adjust to mine. For overnight stays, your pet will have someone nearby and available throughout the night, rather than being left alone for long stretches. I’m also comfortable accommodating early mornings, late evenings, special feeding schedules, and other routines that are important to your pet. My goal is for your pet’s time with me to feel as much like home as possible, with consistency, attention, and plenty of one-on-one care.

Safety, trust & environment

Our Home: Pets staying with me are treated as part of the household, not simply visitors. Our home is intentionally quiet and low-stress, making it especially well suited for seniors, medical or special-needs pets, and shy or sensitive animals who benefit from a calm environment. Our household is myself, my partner, and our young cat. She is very friendly and playful around other animals, but she is also respectful of their boundaries and is happy to give them their space. She tends to be more of an observer than a pest, so pets who prefer a little independence can have their own space and routine. We live in a top-floor corner apartment on the Westside with a large, fully escape-proof balcony where pets can safely enjoy some fresh air and sunshine. We also have a small dog park right next door, plus three parks within about a 10-minute walk, making it easy to get outside for walks, playtime, or a change of scenery. My family also has a large farm with a fenced pond, and I’m happy to take approved water-loving pups out for a supervised swim and adventure during their stay. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with me. I’d love to hear about your pet and learn more about their personality, routine, and care needs!

Pets

A typical day

A Typical Day No two pets have quite the same routine, so I like to build each day around what makes your pet happiest and most comfortable. A typical day includes plenty of companionship, affection, enrichment, playtime, walks, outdoor time, and lots of cozy downtime. Whether your dog is happiest going on several adventures, spending the afternoon lounging beside me while I work, or sticking closely to their usual nap and meal schedule, I’m happy to follow their lead. Pets are welcome to make themselves comfortable on the furniture and be part of the household, but I’m equally happy to maintain a kennel or crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I can also accommodate specific feeding times, medications, exercise routines, mobility needs, and other little details that help your pet feel settled. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar as possible while giving them plenty of attention, enrichment, and one-on-one time. For pets who need a slower pace, there’s absolutely no pressure to be constantly active. Sometimes the best day is simply a comfortable one spent relaxing next to someone.

A Few Things to Know Because I live in an apartment, I do need to be mindful of noise. While your pet may occasionally be left alone for a short period, I work from home and generally structure my day so pets are not alone for long stretches. For that reason, dogs who bark continuously when left alone are discouraged from boarding in my home. A little barking while settling in, getting excited, or adjusting to a new environment is completely understandable. The concern is primarily ongoing barking or distress that could be disruptive to our neighbors. Medication, special diets, mobility needs, quirky routines, or other individualized care needs? No problem. I’m very comfortable following detailed instructions and tailoring care around what your pet needs. The main requirement for staying in our home is that your pet can safely and respectfully coexist with our cat. They don’t need to be best friends, but they do need to be comfortable sharing a home without aggression or destructive behavior. If you’re unsure whether your pet would be a good fit, I’m always happy to chat about their personality and needs before booking. Meet & greets are also welcome!
