I've had dogs all my life, I grew up with, and raised, at least 2 in the house all the time until I moved out with my dog. She and I adventured together for years, but unfortunately she is no longer here. Now I get my dog time by dogsitting both at my house and pet owner's houses. I love to take dogs on walks to explore, and I love chill time inside with them, petting them while we watch movies.

Boarding: I have a dog door so dogs can come in and go out as they please. There's a backyard that dogs love and an easy walk right from my house to a dog park. I let them explore on their own, but I take them out when they need a bit more of a stretch. Housesitting I mostly hangout with the dogs while I do my own work. I take breaks to play with the dogs before letting them rest as I get back to work. I also go on walks when a bigger stretch is needed. If you have specific instructions for pet care, leave a note and I'll follow the procedure.

My dogs and cat loved him from the first meeting. I arrived home to find all my animals alive, healthy, & well fed. My house was also in excellent condition. This was my 1st experience using Rover and I am completely happy with David.

David was fantastic with our two energetic Bernese Mountain Dogs! From the start, he was communicative, responsible, and clearly comfortable handling large, high-energy dogs. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. He kept us updated, made sure they got plenty of exercise and attention, and treated them like his own. When we got back, they were happy, well cared for, and clearly had a great time. You can tell David genuinely enjoys working with dogs and takes the responsibility seriously. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter—especially if you have big, active pups like ours!

Schedule
I'm home during the day, out various nights. During the day, dogs hangout with me or explore the backyard. On nights I'm gone, I'll be sure to have their food ready and make sure they have a way in and out. When I get home, I check on the dogs and take them out before bed.
