Big Dog, Small Dog, Happy Dog
I have owned/taken care of dogs of all sizes over the years: Dachshund, Great Dane, Malinois, Boxer, Cane Corso, and Bernese Mountain Dog. I enjoy my daily walks with our Berner, Sully, and often take him off leash on the trails at Good Dog Park. We would love the company of your doggo! At our home he can expect lots of cuddles and affection, a good daily walk, and access to our fenced backyard through our large doggy door. If your dog is used to sleeping with you on your bed, I am happy to accommodate them that way. Please note that I currently have a tenant who lives in a separate studio space in my home but we share the backyard. She has a friendly large female dog who does spend occasional time in the yard or visits us in our home. Please note that my pricing takes into account that Rover charges me a 20% commission on every booking. Thanks!

So happy to have found our people in Bend! My dog is a family dog and he found his happy place with Veronica and her family. He settled in immediately, making himself at home, living the good life. He went on hikes to Good Dog, made several new friends, put on his sweetest face and begged for treats. I know he's feeling safe when I get that picture of him rolled on his back, legs sticking up, taking a good long nap. It's the kind of attention he can only get with staying in a home with people who love dogs. Please don't ever leave us, Veronica!

Our dog stayed with Veronica and her family for 9 days. During that time we received many photo and video updates about their adventures together, including daily off-leash trips to the Good Dog area and indoor/outdoor playtime with the other dogs and humans in their home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Veronica for boarding your high-energy pup while your out of town. She will provide them with lots of activities and affection.

Schedule
I have a flexible work schedule and spend most of my daily hours working from home. I take our dog for a long walk once daily and will gladly bring yours along with us! When I need to leave the home, it's usually for shorter periods to run errands or go to appointments.

We have a medium size fenced backyard that your dog can access independently via a large doggy door we've installed for our Bernese Mountain Dog, Sully.

A typical day
The highlight of the day is a long off leash walk at Good Dog Park. Please advise if your dog is not off leash trained and needs to be on a lead for the walk.

- VERY IMPORTANT: Please make sure your dog/s’ immunizations are up to date as well as their tick and flea meds (particularly during warm months, ie. May-September)! I also need to make sure your dog is child friendly as I have a 10 year old son. Our Berner Sully is very friendly with other dogs, but please make sure your dog is comfortable sharing space with other dogs before booking our home as aside from Sully, my tenant has a dog, and I often board two dogs at a time.
