My love of and for taking care of animals started at a young age, being partially raised on my grandparent's farm. I grew up with dogs and cats as companions, and that early connection taught me how to listen to them: their moods, their energy, and the quiet ways they communicate what they need. Today I’m a self-employed forest therapy guide in Bend, and that same sense of presence and patience carries into how I care for pets. I love taking dogs on enriching walks where they can explore the world through scent and movement, or simply sitting with an animal and letting them feel safe and at ease. I’ve raised and cared for many different personalities, including a medically needy pug and my current highly anxious border collie rescue, who has taught me a lot about sensitivity, reassurance, and reading subtle cues. I’m especially known among friends as a bit of a “cat whisperer”; even the shy or standoffish cats tend to warm up quickly. Whether your pet is playful, nervous, curious, or independent, I meet them where they are and care for them with gentleness, attentiveness, and respect. My goal is simple: that your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away.
